Not had time to race much this week, got back from Seattle on Friday night, and spent yesterday creating a wireless network for the apartment. Now I have the PS2 wirelessly online too! Bring on GT4. I'm ready for ya!
Also means I can keep the laptop by the PS2 and input times straight away, instead of scribbling notes everywhere and running into the office with them!!

Anyway, run 8 laps so far, lap 8 has T1 19.996 and T2 36.5, my first dip into the 36s (unfortunately its not completely clean, but its given me something to aim at!)

Hi,

THis is my first ever race in the WRS.

I'm supposed to be in div 1.

So here are my times after 5 laps

T1 = 20, 274
T2 = 37,320

The T's doesn't look too fast but I manage to get the corner at the end perfectly.!

EDIT :

Updated times, After 9 laps

T1 = 19.887
T2 = 36.729

Not much improvement today : 20.018 / 36.690.
I hope I can get below 20 on my last evening.

Just spent about 2 hours solid running this :ouch:

Best sectors have been 19.5 / 36.2 that was a dirty one though :(

Best clean save (which is .3 slower than my best dirty one) 19.9 / 36.6 :grumpy:

What a frustrating yet addictive combo!

26s T1 and 48 T2s with the Spoon S2000 for SAG!!! Not going to win anything this week in that car!!!
OK, I'll be a sheep and head back over to the 787B!

Kel was running the 787b on the NTSC game and left It on when she was done .... I couldn't resist a few laps just to see how It was on this version 👍

... not bad at all! :) I beat my old save fractionally in under 25 laps and I will be resubmitting on this one .. Sorry Kent ;) delete my original PM please.

so far I'm at 19.513 / 35.823 ... looking for more tomorrow! I'll still post my replays for both versions as I put so much time into the PAL save originally :grumpy:

Laters :cheers:

Did some more lap tonight, beat my best a few times, but always goes in the grass somewhere.

But i saw a clean 19.391 that i was realy impress about.

I'll be back for week 81.

good luck everyone. :sly:

I need to get my a** into gear and submit ! I've done with the racing and Ive forgotten to submit *mental note to self to turn on GT3 and submit time*

I saw my first sub-20 yesterday evening : 19.990, though the rest of the lap was dirty. I hope tonight will be a lucky evening, and that I'll have a lap with 3 good and clean sectors.

Time submitted. No improvements.
It's up to me now... For the first time I have good chances to submit a faster lap than Niels' :) and I have about 50 laps tonight to make sure of it.

36.262, and it's clean, and I didn't lose the car on the last turn :D

One more session tonight, I've got some time to kill while I wait for the HL2 preload to start.

Wow!
A lot of people are submitting with time to spare, it will surely speed things up tonight. :D

This will all certainly come into play when I decide what next week's race will be... (next line... ) suggestions thread. :)

So good luck in the results,
I hope to see all of you enjoying next week's race as well. :crossfingers:

Later. :D

Oh, and nice times Evo.
I would say they look more like division 1 times than division 2. 👍
Would you like a promotion to run at that speed every race?

Time sent. Not what I'd like, but fighting the understeer caused by the road's camber and finding the right lines is annoying me too much. I guess I could knock of a minimum of .15; maybe a hypothetical .3 or so. But, never mind.

BAH ! I think a podium is out of the question for me this week. Ive just done a 13 hour day and wont get home until about 1/4 to 10 but I'll see if I can improve on what Ive got already.

I'll probably fall asleep at the wheel !!!

Div is back
Flezyrbsky, something like that, is a Div 2 or 3 racer and has better T's time than a lot of D1 racers.

👍

Yeah hes in divison 3. I am also in divison 3 and well I don't think I will be able to compete against him.

He should be promoted.

I already send in my time.

The mental note worked !! Here I am at home now and remembering to submit.

I just ran 30 or so laps and ended up shouting at the TV so I thought I'd best stop. 20.070 36.798, no improvement from 2 days ago but I was really close to breaking it tonight (my record that is not the TV or PS2 !!)

Time submitted - I just wanted to say that I have really enjoyed this weeks race.

Submitted a rather disappointing 20.018 / 36.690.
I saw some 19.8 and expected some good lap at 36.4 but it didn't came...
See you next week (that is tomorrow actually)

I saw some 19.9's but they were high and nowhere near the 19.8 mark. I think I just about mastered the first quick corner, it felt so smooth just flinging the 787B left then right dab the brakes and you're away into the tunnel, then messing up the hairpin, then the long right, then the two lefts after the tunnel etc etc .............

That reminds me something ;) except that as far as I'm concerned, I would say ... and you're away in the grass in the tunnel...
