Time submitted.
It seems I can't get anything good out of this car and track combo. I keep on running 1'10 T3s, which makes me angry having wasted a 1'08.990 two days ago.
I won't have time to play by the deadline, so I'll spend the rest of the evening with Snake and Raiden, killing some terrorists. :mischievous:

No more time to play, off to Boston tomorrow.
Time submitted, no further improvements.
Might scrape together a Week 83 time on Sunday next week when I get back, depending on the combo.
If not, see y'all again in Week 84.

I've had real trouble matching my time shown earlier, then I engaged TCS to se if that helped. For a bit it didn't, while I adjusted then I managed one run (where I went off track slightly just once) but beat my time by .5.
So I tried again following that ghost.
got...
T1:18.457 (I've still been faster than this one) :yuck:
T2:51.112
T3:1:08.974 (this was .4 slower than my fastest sector so there may be more to come)

:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: this race is killing me!!! 🤬

To be fast, I have to use the rumble strips to turn the car on just about every corner. But the Vertigo is really unstable on the rumbles, and GV is long. Most of my laps end with 4-letter words :yuck:

After about 4 hours of playing this morning:

18.2 / 50.6 / 1'08.2 clean
but I lost about .300 in the last chicane make sure I stayed clean.

I've been .400 up on a dirty lap, I just don't know if I have the patience to try and get it back.

I used the Castrol Supra,it's not the best (best after the vertigo)but I can drive the best with it of the whole car package.Especially the rims of the Castrol,b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l(looks like they're dirty) :dopey:

Ran a clean 1'08.0xx today, and I didn't lose it in the last section! Yay!

Other than that it's been a day of frustration, it is nearly impossible for me to run a T1 below 18.4 this afternoon...

I'll hopefully get my sector times down some more. Still struglling to beat my 108.2xx time so currently lagging behind you Ev0!

Hey everyone!

Just got back from my sister's wonderful wedding.

It was great fun and her husband seems like a good man. 👍

Now regarding the race...
Keep up the good work everybody.

Hope to see many of you submitting this week and of course,
Good luck and god speed.

Till next time,
Later. :D

Time submitted. I could get a faster lap, but the past two days have been a struggle for me, and I feel my time should be very competitive.

Time submitted . No improvements since last post , but I did leave a few tenths on a couple of bends :D

Grrr. My best T3 was a 1'10.283". I actually turned in some significantly better T3s, but on that run I really nailed the last sector perfectly, putting my overall time faster than previous runs with good T3s. I didn't have time this weekend to race much, so I only ran about 20 laps. Hopefully I'll do better next week. :)

Time submitted: 18.538 51.732 1:09.330, but with a lousy finish.

Only had a brief session Tuesday and another hour tonight. The submitted time was my only 1:09, and was only 0.2 better (at the finish) than my previous best 1:10.152, so there's 0.8 left in that last chicane. :yuck:

new job, hurricane ivan, end of summer ("rage, rage, against the dying of the light") blah, blah, blah! One of these weeks, when winter has come, I'll muster a decent effort.

Great combo Kent!! I usually enjoy the sim cars more, but there's nothing like an arcade car when you're short on time! 👍

eggmann
Had a 1:07.8 T3, but blew it.
Submitted my time from last post.
I know how you feel. I ran a 1'07.996 last night, but followed it up with a pitiful final sector. All that after over 2 hours total yesterday of lapping, just trying to shave off less than 0.1 seconds off my lap

By the way, happy birthday Rollazn. Congratulations on being promoted to Division 2.

Less comp for me down here at the bottom when I get a chance to run. ;D

Have I missed the results? Week 83 is up, but no Wk82 results.

daan
Have I missed the results? Week 83 is up, but no Wk82 results.

I still have 1 "Unconfirmed Private Message Receipt" so I don't think GoKents has started to compile the results yet.

Well, that's what I'm hoping. ;)

I also have an unconfirmed message receipt, that I sent on Saturday.

Kent has been to his sister's wedding this week and probably has lots of way more important things to catch up on before he posts the results.

He's done an excellent job in coming up with another combo for week 83 to keep us all occupied while we wait for the results, so just be patient, I'm sure they'll be up when he gets back from classes tonight. :)
