Week 93: Time To Relax!

Hey guys,
I need to take a break. I have many things in my RL that are so screwed up right now I can't tell which way is up and which way is down.

It will most likely get terribly worse or a lot better in the next week to month, either way I don't see much time to do the T-Times leaderboard this week. I did enjoy doing it and will if I can find time for it, but don't count on anything (if someone else wants to do it, please feel free to take over). I feel a little bit like I'm letting you guys down as I have become good friends with so many of you.
I hope you understand.

Easy to solve. Start a new user name (account) and who-ever will be updating the leaderboard will have the password. Only problem with that is both can't log onto it at the same time, but that's not a very big deal. Me and O.Z did this on another forum, worked out fine.

Great idea. 👍 More users with access will make the leaderboard less vulnerable to RL issues.
 
4 laps yesterday evening, with a best clean at :
T1 = 26.627
T2 = 59.020
T3 = 1'27.006

My goal this week will be 1'25.0. I just have to learn to brake early enough :ouch:

Luxy, I just was talking with Tuff, and I had the idea to just make a thread in the WRS forum. It's easier to find, and would be easier to maintain. I sent a PM to Kent about it, so wait a bit and I'll get back to you when he replies.

Ok iceman, that sounds like a good short term solution, at the very least. I'm going to play around with a few idea that I think would make the leaderboard even better (think sort on the fly, displaying the gap between racers, etc), stuff that's not really possible in a forum post. Hopefully I'll have something to show for it tonight :-)
 
Had a little play earlier...just a little bit of a handfull!!!
Splits so far:
T1 25.590
T2 57.399
T3 1:24.515.
I know I can get much faster than these times and will be practicing after work and college!

Nice challenge this one. Difficult car on a track I hardly drive :scared:

So far:
T1: 25.333
T2: 56.633
T3: 1'23.406

The best i got on some laps i made yesterday was someting around 1`26.xxx high, and a T 1 above 27.xxx.

Looks like Ron is on fire this week, i´m happy that i´m just a second division runner now :D

If icemanshooter23 and/or Luxy take over the t-times leaderboard, maybe I can sneak in a quick session or 2 now and then. 👍

I'll be around, not completely leaving the scene, just have other stuff I need to get done before I can play. ;)

I am sure I can take more from that T3 split...I LOVE THIS CAR! In the game, it was the first "proper" car I bought. :) Won almost everything with it.

Jesus Christ man! you are flying 👍 ... what am I doing wrong ? my best sectors (not in same lap) are 25.0/ 56.3 / 1.22.7 you are beating me in all 3 sectors .... tips please? especially on T1 and T2 👍

Thats a shocking display of speed ;)

Like I said earlier, it was the first proper car I bought. Went straight from the corolla (Or whatever it is called) to a tuscan. Did most of the endurance races and most others with it. Just checked now, the millage on my garage tuscan is 14,966 kilometres - just takes practice. I can drive this car round most tracks fast due to stupid miles playing the game but not all other cars - nearly last in week 92.

You can do it...you have shown that you can. All you need is one good lap - just put them togeather in one and I'll have to try again ;).

Wow, I'm getting left in the dust here. I'm gonna have to give this one another try.
 
Oh boy. Better keep doing laps. I don't know exactly what my T3's are, but I know they're above 1:24. (Something tells me I'm not going to get below 1:24.5xx T3's)
 
Haven't gotten a chance to run much yet, so not splits to report.

Or if it is a tuscan, or if you are staying on the track al the way round.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I don't see how someone can qualify as a Div 3 racer and yet, 4 or 5 weeks later, be beating Ron & Hugo, easily.
 
I'm just looking forward to some proof at the end of the week as it will for sure be the new record for that combo at gt.de db 👍 (and I already took quite a chunk from that myself :dopey: ... god knows how he drives that first section to a T1 of 24.8 :crazy: .. its too much for me ... I surrender! :ouch:
