This isn't allowed.
The Arcade tuscan was specifically designated as this race's car.

Also, mrdpunto,
Since you are indeed defying the norm with such awesome progression in driving skill I am going to have to ask that you include t times with your final submission.

Data might be required after that pending how things go in the week.

Remember, this is not an insult.
Try to keep that in mind if it feels like you are being picked on or anything like that.

He was saying yes to my "are you using the arcade Tuscan" question. He pointed out that he had thousand of km on his garage Tuscan.
 
Chris' split times do make sense to me (although I cannot match his T1), but they are more division 0 speed than division 2 :ill: . Anyway, Chris 👍

I made some progress as well:
T1: 25.047
T2: 56.221
T3: 1'22.889

I lost 2-3 tenths between T2 & T3, cannot see much more though at the moment :odd:
 
hm i might give this ago, i havnt raced for a very long time in WRS. ill have fun bringing up the rear.
 
Its a hell of time everywhere on this track mrdpunto, but 1.22.6?

I'm just looking forward to some proof at the end of the week as it will for sure be the new record for that combo at gt.de db 👍 (and I already took quite a chunk from that myself :dopey: ... god knows how he drives that first section to a T1 of 24.8 :crazy: .. its too much for me ... I surrender! :ouch:

I'm from GT3Times. I raced for GT3Times this BC :sly:
At GT3T there's little olr activity, and at GTPlanet olr is organised pretty well 👍 .
That's why I pop up here, also to join my Dutch buddies ;)

Interesting to see if MrdPunto comes back. It's nice to know that you need to improve if you want to win, makes you more motivated. So let's hope he comes back :dopey:

As a result, I am trying to buy a "sharkport" type device to prove it to you all that I am not (as people put it) cheating!!! It really pi$$es me off.
I am sorry but it needs to be said! Give me a different track in a tuscan and I am positive I can be truely competetive in that too! So NO, I am not "hanging Mr P's thumbs out to dry" as someone so eloquently put it.

Anyone in the uk that has a "sharkport" or similar, where did you get yours from?

I got mine from Play. The Xport has been discontinued now but it's replacement, the Max Drive does the same thing.

You can also get it from Codejunkies
 
Most of the times you're fast on a certain track, not with a certain car on any track. That's why most people doubt your split times. I'm willing to believe your times, they're not impossible. But I'm curious where you suddenly found that speed. You were 2.5 seconds slower than me last race, and I spent 3 times as much time on this combo already than I did on last race and still I cannot match or beat your time. It's likely possible that someone is faster than me, but not that you're faster, regarding last race. Can you understand that?

If you're really running the arcade car and following the rules, I cannot wait to see your replay :dopey:
 
I'd love to see that replay too, I can't imagine the line that you used to get that T1. I've hit it pretty good and saw only a 25.5, which was a rare occurence.

I dont think anyone is uptight mate! I personally thought you had gone for the record! ... as we get the odd bull****ter from time to time and have been in this kind of debate/discussion many times over.

Your adament about the fact that your legit and are going to buy a replay device and thats good enough for me, until we dont recieve some proof in some form or another.

I hope you are the real deal mate and hope you can also understand that your not the first person to get this kind of reaction! It's all par for the course on your path to validity 👍 I play many hours per week on GT3 and feel like I have the ability to push quite a few drivers to the limits, on this combo your sector 1 was enough for me to get curious as its so damn fast ... no other words man!

I look forward to viewing your replay and many more in the future :cheers:

I'd take that as one of my biggest compliments ever. To have MrP and Hugo spend hours trying to match a time of mine... well... let's just say I do dream. ;)
Not to mention the revenge would be sweet as you can't imagine how many times I've compared my Midfield times (my favorite track) to theirs and can only stare in awe at their times. :bowdown:

I always like to believe the best about everyone and truly look forward to you waving a replay in their faces. 👍
 
The challenge wouldnt be there if I tried a tuned car to beat arcades, would it? :dunce:

I hope for a GTP Monaco with an overpowered car, so there is my suggestion GoKents.

Hello everyone!

First off, let's try to lay off on the discussion about mrdpunto.

At this point there is only 1 thing left to do and it is up to mrdpunto to decide what to do.

mrdpunto contacted me via pm and explain himself and informed me on his opinions. He explained to me that he has a plan for the future and in the process gave me the chance to reply with my thoughts.

Plain and simple, I gave him what I saw as a few of his options in the most appropriate manner I could.

I hope he considers them wisely and acts in the manner he feels best with. :D

Beyond that this topic has nothing more to discuss in my opinion, from here it is all up to mrdpunto.

So, now that we all let mrdpunto know how we feel, I suggest we go about the racing as usual.

Have fun, push yourself and do your best.

I hope to see all of you in the results this week... In fact, I'm so excited about the group for this week that I may put in a little effort as a racer this week and not just a mod. :sly:

Of course I wouln't be able to keep up, but I will do my best to let all of you know what I can do (instead of letting that dismal bc performance of mine serve as your guide to my racing :lol: ).

I saw a 25.908 but ruined it immediately in the first tunnel.
Hope I can go below 1'25 by sunday evening.

Ok, it's not that fast, but hey, I'm flat out, so I can't go any faster ;)
 
Another week cut short by an improptu business trip! Spent 3 days in Davis, CA and just got back tonight. Put in about 10 laps so far, not quite sure whether or not to go with TCS or not.
Fastest clean lap so far is without TCS, but it may have been quicker without wheelspin. What's everyone else using if you don't mind me asking?

T1 25.806
T2 57.536
T3 1'24.750

1'25.115

Still lots of time out there.

I'm driving with TCS. Might be faster without if you got the skills. I haven't, and my problem right now (as usual) is to string a good lap together. :dopey:
