Do you have to race the championship tiself, or is it enough to drive each race 1 by 1 ? I'm halfway trough it now on, about an hour.

Wats up everyone. I'm new here, just in 7th grade but I'm pretty good so watch yer bumperz! 1st let me say what a SWEET site the pages Ive found were way smaller and no rules and jus stupid... I read the rules an everything and it sounds cool, I dont wallride neway. I dont have a "xport" but maybe with Xmas money or sumthin.

Kool race I love the track and the car is good 2. The 1st turn is hard cuz u can spin easy but the last turn is worse i think. 1st u have to set it up right then not get in the dirt or grass 2 much, pisses me off sumtimes. I'm not settings expert but i think mine is good, prety simple but good.

My best lap's T3 is 48.155

Hi there Meteo! Enjoy your time here at GTPlanet.
Just a couple of pointers to get you started.

1st, check out the acceptable use policies for the site. I know sometimes its quicker to type in txt slang, but for the benefit of us older members who don't have a clue what you're talking about, please try to use full sentences and grammar. (I'm telling you this before a moderator jumps on you about it!)

2nd, to race in the WRS you need to qualify and be assigned a division. Check out Kent's post and submit a time to him for the qualifying race, I think its a Lancer at Midfield hotlap.

3rd, the X-port/Sharkport is no longer available, but can be purchased on Ebay. You can also use a MaxDrive which is easier to use than the other devices, and can be bought from www.codejunkies.com

4th, with T times like the one you've submitted so far, you must make sure to save the replay file, even if you've no replay device, the analyser data from the replay theatre may be requested to verify your time.

I know it sucks, but I had to go through it too. What's more is that right after I completed the Test Course race (I swear test course races are some sort of human rights violation ) I remembered I could skip some races

I think winning 7 or 8 should be enough, check the AI points to be sure. Just don't forget to save before you skip the last race in case you don't recieve the Jag.

Messed something with the setup and found the right direction I think.

After first session:
T1: 11.398
T2: 23.700
T3: 48.680

Sorry 'bout being MIA with the leaderboard. I had an early christmas with my folks yesterday, and haven't been near the computer. Anyway, the leaderboard is now current to this post

Also, I dunno if I'll be running this week. My time is really limited, and I got a DFP!!!!! I'll probably be trying to get up to speed on that instead

I'm running the course backwards and getting -7.664 for 'T3', but it's nowhere as impressive as the 'T1'...

EDIT: Congrats on the DFP Luxy... hope you got GT4P to enjoy it... and a good set-up to drive with it... I haven't so it's gathering dust ATM... (yes sacrilege I know...)

Okay I'll try to clean it up smallhorses. I dont care about grammar online usually but i don't really mind. Also I sent in a time to kent on the evo.

I saved my replay and its on track and everything...I take it a few of you don't believe me? I'm on break know so I have alot off time on my hands lately. Today I raced some more and my new lap T3 is 48.082. My T1 was the same has hugh, can't remember my T2.

A couple questions-what gear do you guys use for the first turn? And does anyone use asm ever it just seems to slow me down.

1 more question, do you use the time on the replay file or the time that pops up at the end of the replay?

First practice session tonight, and I must admit I like the combo much more than last week.

but I ruined it by cutting through the chicane.

I slightly adjusted iceman's settings to my driving :

I also set the final drive at 3.500 (auto 24 tranny trick) : I don't use 5th gear anymore but it suits the track much better (winding part between T1 and T2 is in 3r gear only, no more shifting up in these fast curves).

Jag race car, Super Soft tires, 569 horsepower, free run, I'm sure Im running the right thing here so I'm sorry if you dont like my times.
