Damn Hugo your setup rocks. 👍

in just about 10-12 laps I now have

T1 11.4xx
T2 24.175
T3 49.5xx

and I beat my best lap by almost 2 seconds :)

Good times hugoboss, maybe you'll beat me on the last turn. My t1 and t2 was around yours, i think a tenth quicker on each.

Also pls stop saying I have a 48.0 flat when its closer to 48.1 ( although it is possible to do a 48flat )

And 1 correction, I'm 12 1/2

Meteo Take a look at the replay you have saved, with the 48.1 T3 and note down the T1 and T2 splits as well as the T3 to the 3 decimal places that are displayed.

Sorry I underestimated your age, I based it on a rough guesstimate of what 7th grade is in this country. I'm not that familiar with US school grades. Just wanted MrP to know that you're considerably younger than him.

In answer to your earlier question, use time displayed on the replay loading screen, not the one at the end of the replay lap.
What's your location? You should fill in some of the info in your GTPlanet profile....

T1 11.242
T2 23.799
T3 49.117

New fastest lap, and just noticed power is down to 565HP, time for an oil change!
T1 11.351
T2 23.732
T3 49.046

Thanks Iceman
But i had noticed rigth after the post, when i came back to my GT3, that i was with the Turbo on Stage 2 instead of Stage 1. It was really way to easy to get that time on my first lap of the first try. :sly: :dopey:
Now with Iceman´s settings and the right car:
T1 - 12.005 :yuck: ( Best 11.5)
T2 - (Around 25.6)
T3 - 50.3xx (don´t remember now)

This lap was very good because of the two turns right after T2.

And Merry christmas too all BTW

Actually you should be on turbo setting normal, not stage 1. Stage 1 turbo will give you over 600HP, which is way too much.

sjaak68
This is the one you need. 👍
At least it works for me.
Glad you like my setup sjaak68. :) As for the LSD I changed it to 10,45-60,15 (depends on how much control you have on the last chicane more control the less the value). Also I lowered the front spring rate to 4.0. I found these little tweaks to give me more consistent laps. And last but not least I lowered the car all the way. 👍

PS "I do this for Iur" :dopey:

"My life's for Aiur". Exactly, I'm 100%, well..was 100% Protoss, no Terran or Zerg crap, hate those, Protoss are the most difficult to use, but that's the good challenge about them, you master them and you are too cool for school.

Well, not spamming anymore, sorry Kents :dopey:

No racing today but I wanted to check in again. O I live in Cali smallhorses

So does everyone use wheels or controllers? I just use a regular old controller, actually i bought used even.

I say Meteo is bs, especially at that age. Too many wannabe young punks around, next thing you know he'll be saying drifting is faster than grip and that he uses it to go faster

I tried some laps with Hugo's setup and barely broke a 49 T3 with the time I had tonight, but then I had a little off at the chicane. I don't think I'll be doing any more laps... just needed to post this to back up Ron and everyone else who is suspicious, because Ron doesn't see a 48.0 being possible, you guys don't see a 48.0 being possible and neither do I... maybe if Arco was around.

Where about in California?

We have members in Southern and Central California that could possibly verify your time if in fact it is a legit run.

I'm personally in Central California and have both X-port and MaxDrive devices for transferring replays to the computer/internet.
I also make somewhat frequent trips to the Bay Area and Sacramento areas to visit friends as well.

Had to win the jag first, so here i am:

11.659
24.686
50.328

Now I'll have to go to my parents in law, back on Monday!

Merry Christmas to all the WRS racers and viewers

New best at 49.9xx. I'm losing a lot of time in the hairpin somwhere, how are you guys taking it? Also, are you using TCS?
I don't use TCS : I tried but it didn't seem useful. But ASM=2 helps in the winding part and prevents too much drifting in turn 1.

For the hairpin, I stay on the left part of the track and start braking between the last shadow and the rumble strip. I brake and start to turn the car while staying on the outside, then accelerate before hitting the apex (at around 90-95 km/h) and stay flat-out.
However, I'm not sure it'll help, my best T3 is 49.89.

Instead of moving up the gears in the normal fashion, use the reverse button to change gear by doing a quick tap on the button so not to engage reverse, and it will then change up a gear and produce a faster gear change as if you were using a clutch.
I won't even try this : I have no finger close to the triangle button when I drive, while I always have the right index on the R buttons. I would lose time finding the button. I'd rather stay with the good ol' way.

Whoops, just noticed in that quote that that should have been 48.9. I'm hoping to a get Max Drive, maybe I'll find it under the tree today ;).

OK, now i´ve check again on the first page and saw clearly " Stock Jaguar" and "Power at 570 hp" i think i saw 670 instead of 570. Now this will get my times back to my place :D

I'm in the Bay Area! Stop in and race me sometime!
I also have a MaxDrive for replay verification and transfer, so I'd be able to help you out too if Meteo needs a verification for his run.

Finally a clean lap with the right specifications:

11.801 ( Best seen 11.411)
24.803 ( Best seen 23.7xx)
50.581 ( Best seen 50.271)

I can see a 49.5 coming if i made all the best times on the same lap. I´ve made an 50.3 with a T1 of 12.011

My best clean lap.....Im still getting used to my DFP.
T1: 11.7xx
T2: 25.1xx
T3: 50.xxx

I hope to improve the T1 to T2 area and gain a good second or so more, my Final Lap time is pretty quick though.

What!!! I never realised you were so close! I thought you lived in the UK for some reason. :embarrassed:
We'll definitely have to meet up and do some racin!

I had a few minutes earlier today to run a 5 lap test to see how far back I would be. I hopped in a Jag and set the hp to 566hp (figured it still needed a couple of break in miles). Was strange because it took stage 2 turbo to get there. I figured oh well, I was pretty sure it was the right hp and I was no-where near a computer. I did a couple laps in the 54's and was all DAMN! those guys are FLYING!

Got home and checked to see what mods were allowed and figured out I was in the Jag XKR, not the 220 race car. :dunce:

T13R what the hell do you know man? Wannabe punk, that pisses me off, you know nothing. I'm from Compton, ever here of that place? If not I'll give a clue we dodge bullets more than we play curling!

Then Mr Poser is dissing me again, save the legos and stick em straight up your .....

oh and merry christmas

Got to run this today for about an hour with the right car. :dopey:

Hitting low 49's regularly and saw 1 48.9 and 1 48.8, but threw both of them away in the chicane. :banghead:

Best clean lap is:
11.371
24.007
49.227

Chicane section is just average, not good, but not bad either.

I’m not officially in this race, but I’ve never driven the XJ220Race car that I can recall. Like most here I didn’t have it in me garage. Wanted to see if I was missing anything. . well not really. Here are the sets used. They render consistent sub 49T3s for me NP. Them guy(s) down under 48.4 are blazin’! I can somewhat see how. .

My god! Just used your settings apart from some differences in gearbox settings, cause for some reason i just couldn't dial in the same values you've listed..but anyway! Instantly dropped a second off my sector and lap times! Thanks a bunch!

May I ask all of you Div 1 racers what your time was in the qualifying with the Evo VII (If it's allowed to tell)?
