Just wondering how you guys are taking the corkscrew.This is how I take it.

• Up hill in 6th sticking to left hand side.
• Top of the hill hit the rumble strip on right, brake and shift to 4th
• Let back swing out until pointing to the right hand corner
• Accelerate and when car is steady shift to third
• Clip rumble strip on right hand side to position myself for next left at T3
• Hard to get right everytime but when it works it flies

Would be interesting to know how you guys take the corkscrew....👍

I've been experimenting Persian Pride. 4th can work since it's a big V12 that's churning out the power and since it's downhill at the corkscrew. I think it really depends on your style of driving to be honest.

Using 3rd or 4th I can get similar times so it's really depends if I can be arsed changing down to 3rd.

I use 3rd AND 4th gear

3rd For entering it, and then I shift up to 4th gear before I hit the throttle again. It al depends on your setup and driving style. With the DS2 I used to rag over the inside curb, now I have to avoid the inside curb with the wheel, or I spin

Thanks for advice on the gear Hugo, the car was quicker instanly and I improved my impossible 3rd sector 👍

I have seen 19.1`s- 35.9`s but my skills wont allow me to keep them.

Time submitted, the car seems to be losing more and more time as I drive it, despite no change to my driving or the setup. I'm off by .6 seconds of where I was on Thursday. I'm not pleased at all with the car's hp dropping off at only 300 miles. I really hope next week will be on a less tempermental track too.

Try saving your settings only, and not the game. That way your car will remain at full hp

Heh, I know that trick, but I like to save the game anyway, as I like to see how much mileage I put on the car, and to see my lap times when I enter the track. But, it looks like that's all going to end, especially if we do the one car for two weeks thing that Kents has been talking about.

ahh, ok got it. since it is the storm, i might take a run tonight if i can just trick myself into believing it's ok to break my promise to never play gt3 again.

After tinkering about with the set up I managed a half decent time. First and second t-times were great but the corkscrew ... don't mention it!

I enjoyed this week. Hopefully there will be some close finishing. 👍

Hey All!

Just wanted to stop in and let you all know that the new race will be up later tonight... Same for the results (hopefully).

I didn't get to do any runs on this since the last time I posted, but just a few minutes ago I booted up the ps2 and took a final swing.

Nothing "good," but a slow 54.??? brought me to a final time that is not very competitive at all.

Oh well.

On that note though, I will be looking forward to seeing all the laps from those who managed to beat me.
Especially all of you that managed the same T times (that is, if you managed the same T times and then beat me ).
