Alright!! So I'm back after a long school term! Might as well come back in one of GT5's newest cars! I love this car, everything about it is beautiful!

BlackIce90 (BlackIce49) - Black / Gold

Is it ok to join RT?

Awesome, I can make the first 2 races, after that its questionable weather or not I can make it because I have classes on Thursdays that end around 6ish. I will do my best though.

Are we allowed to use any of the Aero options that comes with the car? All of the Aero Type A mods for this car are amazing. Can we put those on?

Was told earlier that if you put those on, you can't use the "tuning restricted" option. So the answer is unfortunately no.

I think PD changed how fast the tires wear. Not sure if they sped it up, or slowed it down. Someone will have to test it.
I did, soft tires wear faster, hards are the same. I assume mediums are medium.
Just a bug fix. Not in the "bug fixes" section by PD though. :odd:

Game won't let you in with tuning prohibited if you do.

So yeah, almost un-driveable at Nurburgring. Stock LSD settings are at 50/80/0, I don't know if that plays a part, but a couple turns it's just "wisk-POW".
Hopefully it's raceable on other tracks.

In the "Foxhole" (Fuchsrohre) I don't know, maybe braking helps, but at full speed like any other car it just simply kills you.

^^ I drove the car on the Nordschleife and Tsukuba. On the former, the car was very sensitive and any sudden steering inputs would cause a spin. I had to drive very cautiously just to keep the thing facing in the right direction.

On the latter circuit, it drove just fine. I could get on the throttle early and muscle the car around quite a bit. Much more forgiving and easier to drive than the FT-86.

Yeah, I tried taking it normally and the car went sideways in a hurry.

Damn, this is killing me. :banghead: I think I'm just going to pull the trigger on a new PS3 tomorrow, can't be bothered waiting for parts for my current one which may or may not fix it...

So what tires does this thing come with?
Really looking forward to a mid week series with medium length races 👍 Too many of the weekday rooms are 3 lap crash fests

Well, I've been thinking a lot about tire strategy.

A lot of people have been testing the racing tires but I'm wondering if the affects are mirrored on the street tires. Will the Sport softs wear faster than the racing hards? They shouldn't, since slicks are obviously thinner than cut-slicks in real life so, if things really were made right, street tires should last longer. So it may be interesting to allow racing hards and up, to really shake up strategy.

But I'm just speculating while I wait for my update to install and such. brb with my true take.

Took the car out to see what exactly all the hype was about.

I can officially say that I'm sold. What an amazing car. Too bad that Thursday is my absolute worst day of the week, or else I'd be joining in a heartbeat.

It comes with Sport Hards as default. Don't change it, please.

Yeah, it'd be best to run a spec tire (lol xD always wanted to say that in GT) with this car and series for sure, all things considered.

wtf man YES! This means we don't have to worry about bad laps in pre-race quali! (as long as the tracks don't have glitched penalty zones, which I'm testing now)

carracerptp Yellow / Silver
I really like the way the car turns-in, bakes are perfect.
Please keep the tire (SH). I would call this car the second best handling car with that tire.
This will be some close racing.

Racing hards on a bone stock, 200-ish HP car? Please no!

On more thing.
You can now force ABS to 0 in a room.
I do like playing with ABS off but I'm not that good in a race(other cars) with it. I tend to get over confident or forget it off and lock-up the brakes in heave braking zone.
Will we use ABS = 1?

Drove the car for a few laps around Suzuka and GVS-R. The car sure likes the high-speed slides. Overall handling is very fun and SH seem like an appropriate tires. There are a few quirks I'll have to get used to (not once did I manage to take turns 1-2 @Suzuka w/o a massive drift), but great car all in all.

R1600Turbo
Is it possible to get different colors Owens? We already have 2-3 silver cars.

Yea. Metallic Green with Black, gold, or silver rims do?

Edit: what stinks is BOTH my real vehicles are silver. :( No biggie, if we was racing Evo's I'd have to bargain with you over color.

OwensRacing (OwensRacing) - Formula Green / Chrome

Formula Green :Color change from blue/ green

Also until I get the GTP account squared away with paints and cars. I will stick to using my main account.

I know, I got my freebie last night AND bought another one to fully customize. Haven't driven either of them.
