Tried them all but haven't won all the tickets... yet. (Hard difficulty)

Grand Valley - Volvo 240 SE Estate '93 - This took a few attempts. I tried and failed with a couple tunes that respected the suggested 400PP. Best I could manage was P6. In the end, I went overboard (mid-RPM turbo, bored cylinders, and high-compression pistons, all the sports-level upgrades, SS tires). That brought the PP up to 520, which made for an easy win. First ticket obtained.

Lake Louise - Toyota Tundra TRD Pro '19 - I've driven this truck before and I don't remember if I'd upgraded it back then. Just threw on the snow tires today and went. Easy -- but not at all clean -- win. Second box checked.

Suzuka East - Hyundai IONIQ 5 N '24 - The only upgrade I made was SS tires. That was plenty. Made a few mistakes along the way, but I was still able to get the win. Second ticket obtained.

Road Atlanta - Lexus LC500 '17 - These WTC 600 races are challenging to do in an untuned car. All I did was upgrade the tires to SS. That was good enough for P3, but I was 11 seconds off the lead. Good enough to check the fourth box.

Suzuka - Audi VGT - No luck with this car. I started on RS tires, thinking the rain would come before they wore out. No rain came. The tires were done after 4 laps. I pitted for RMs and fuel. I was able to work my way up to P6 before running out of fuel on the final straight, losing a couple spots as I puttered to the finish for P8. I'm feeling like this might not be the car for me in this race. Might try again later in something else.

1. To begin the week, I decided to use my "M3 GTR" (AKA the M3 '03 with the Z4 GT3 swap, and bodykit), as I didn't get to use it last week, when I built it. it beat the race pretty easily.
2. Next, I decided to use a stock SVT Raptor for the next race, it was pretty difficult, as the car was approximately 30 PP lower than the suggested amount, but I just about managed to get a win.
3. Next, I could only use the Ioniq 5 N, but I decided to use the "Pikes Peak" build. It worked great, but it did like to understeer.
4. For WTC600, I used the Countach 25th Anniversary. Through some "Creative" and "Close" racing, I managed to get first, beating more modern Lamborghini cars.

European Sunday Cup 400: Peugeot 205 GTI. Took using the Racing Mediums (and some really close moments), but was doable.
Pickup Truck Race: Ford F-150 Raptor. Pure fun, not some super tune but fine time regardless.
World Touring Car 600: Lexus LFA. Had to buy a power restrictor to get the power down, but got it. Might have an Idea..
Gr.1 Prototype Series: Toyota TS030. No-Stopped AND tip toe'd just enough to NOT spin despite not taking wets. Had 4 laps worth by the last lap.
Hyundai Ioniq One-Make: Abit tricky (and again, on a short configuration of a circuit for some reason), but did it.

As usual Friday is weekly races time.
Did first the Suzuka using thr new F1 to clear it as painless as i could.
Rain hit track at second lap !!? Nobody changed tyres and i did the same which was the right choice.
Proceed to easier ones and leave Glen for the end and i will stay on that one.
Don't know why but am sure that this race has two " speeds " !!!!
If Baylees start in front i couldn't even catch him .
I was with a Porsche RS 22 detune and couldn't even see him 😂
I try again with more power and SM tyres ......again second with Baylees.
Change car ,Alfa gr 3 road car on SS .
Laps under 30's ( 29'- 27' ) and catch him on last lap 😵‍💫 to take the win.!!!!

After couple hours brake i try it again .
I use Subaru WRX on SS tyres and i took the win without even go down from 30's but Baylees wasn't in front.

Anyway i try it again till get CRB and i did it twice ,with the Subaru and Alfa again .

The sound of Subaru was in another level and with SS tyres is very enjoyable.
I'll try it again since there isn't something else that can keep my interest high.

The IRONIK 😂 rides more like a truck than a car ,need to brake yesterday to stop today and the front end always seeking path outside of the track.
It's unique car for ......real estate activities 🤣.

The 6* ticket brought a mini VGT sold for 633k which was better than the half million brick .

Pretty decent week except for the Gr.1 which I opted to skip as I haven't won this race yet. I'm sure I've tried it before and gave up. Life of a controller. lol
Anyway to the races......
Suzuka in the Hyundai was an easy win with this set-up on SS.

Lake Louise saw my Raptor obliterate the field by half a lap and even lapped a couple of backmarkers.

Since a lot were saying it's hard to keep the 400pp at Grand Valley, I went with this Clio which has no mechanical mods, just aero and on SS which brought it up to 525. Won on the last segment after overtaking the M3.

Road Atlanta was an iffy as I don't remember how I had won this race before. So I grabbed this Civic which only had aero on it and threw on some RS right under the 600pp. It was a battle with the Lambo on the last lap. Had to do some blocking on the long straight and won it by a couple.

Special event done, second place and post traumIONIK disorder here.
The weight transfer with the fat IONIQ is a cruel joke, specially on a curvy track like Suzuka. The tires loud is a nightmare here.
After the formula TT on the same track, It looks like PD has demonstrated the IRONIQ is not a real sport car 😅.

This week was fun for sure.

Race 1 - Mercedes 190E. Tuned to 500PP and sporting an opponent-style version of A$AP Rocky's 190E design, I overtook the Carrera on lap 2 and drove away.

Race 2 - Ford Raptor. Only upgrades were the mandatory snow tires, a high-speed close ratio gearbox, and a high-lift cam shaft, to balance it with the AI trucks which are lightly upgraded. Halfway through lap 3, I took the lead and held it to the finish.

Race 3 - IONIQ 5 N. Bone stock except for a brake balance controller, sports suspension, the obvious pikes peak widebody and a simple design to blend in with the opponents. Got the lead on lap 5 after a few mistakes, and never looked back.

Race 4 - Impreza WRX Sti Coupe Type R '99. If the AI wanna cheat, I will too. I brought my Tokyo 600 workhorse sporting the brutally overpowered EJ20-Rally swap to this race. 788HP and a super stable setup allowed me to destroy that RGT and Gallardo. Fastest lap was in the 1:23 bracket.

Race 5 - RCF GT500. With a high-rpm turbo and good gearing, I challenged myself to win this race with a Gr.2 machine. The rain played into my plan perfectly, as the L750R and XJR-9 got caught on slicks in a downpour, slowing up the entire field. In the end, I chased down the lead McLaren Ultimate Gr1 and pulled away to win by over 15 seconds. Mission complete!

All done.

weekly-challenge-202503w3-r5-2.jpg

Suzuka - Audi VGT - I decided to give the Audi another try. This time there was rain, and that made all the difference. Started on RSs and pitted on lap 3 for IMs and fuel, just as the rain hit. Carefully picked my way through the field on the out lap. They all pitted, giving me a huge lead, which I easily held to the end. Final ticket obtained.

Added: The roulette ticket gave me 500,000 Cr.

Good for you, in my case three 1'28 and two 1'26 laps were good for an eight second loss at the end. Classic PD, a 650PP car into a 600PP restricted race on a track of which a good three quarters is full throttle.

And i was referring to the normal mod, perhaps you was at hard ( i guess ).
But definitely isn't a proper race ( at least some times ) that allows you do run different cars without the need to use a highly pushed car .

It was on hard yes, but there's generally so much rubberbanding going on that I've seen in some cases the normal AI being faster than hard depending on what (and how) you're driving. I eventually won it but the difference was that the RGT started eighth, not second, and got stuck in the traffic long enough. It's not like it isn't possible to be faster than it, no problem there, but being five seconds faster on every lap while getting through traffic just doesn't happen especially when you're going for the CRB.
