Fun week.
Gr.1 was in my Audi VGT. I forgot what I had won in for this race as it's been while. Anyway, ran on RM and FM1 the whole way. Worked my way through the field and before I pitted at the end of 5, I overtook Valerio for 1st in his Nissan. I was thinking, cool, he'll eventually pit later. Nope, he went for a no pit stint. Took second and behind Valerio by almost 10 seconds. lol

Grand Valley was another good one. Took my LCF on SH. Slipping and sliding around. Caught up to Kokobun by lap 4. Thought I wouldn't be able to do it but my top end speed nipped him at the line:

The Jimney event was easy as always in my trusty off-road green one. 30 second gap.

Lago Maggiore was another easy one in one of my M3's.

The Kangoo race was fun too. I thought it would be a walk in the park with my lightly modded one. Wrong. lol Won by a few seconds.

Finish the weeklies yesterday starting from the longest one and after couple hours try the GV on different cars .
Don't know what am doing so wrong and its so hard to get the CRB .🥴
I took it only once with the slowest car i try while i had two short " kisses " from the AI.
Perhaps something had to do with the white line both sides at the track but am not sure where and when.

Anyway the ticket reward was a disaster since gave me the SLR McLaren that sold less than 300k 😱 .

A good set of races this week, the Kangoo is pretty fun to chuck around.
  • Jimny Cup - Sierra w/Civic Swap 🔰 (this was chaotic with almost 600hp 😄)
  • Kangoo One-Make - 🚫
  • European FR Challenge - C63 S AMG 🔰
  • WTC600 - Suzuki VGT 🚫 (bought it for the menu book, so might as well use it)
  • Gr 1 Prototypes - 919 Hybrid 🚫

Decent rewards:
  • Bugatti Invitation from 4⭐️ Daily
  • Ultra Turbo for BRZ Drift Car from 6⭐️ Part
  • Dupe GT-R GT500 '16 from 6⭐️ Car

Not at all sure if the Gr1 can be done on hard with the CRB this time. Being fast isn't a problem, four or five seconds faster than the AI per lap, but getting past cleanly anywhere but on a long enough straight is a major problem. If I'm on the inside they'll turn into me, if on the outside they'll push me out, and being rear ended or brake checked isn't out of question either. Not to mention that the last sector is by a large margin the worst in the history of GT games - all corners either blind, lightenng over a crest, or tightening. Or several at the same time.

Believe me, I hear you. The AI is really annoying at times.
However, I managed to get the CRB at my second attempt - I had to leave the track once during my first run.
Used the Mazda LM55 with the big turbo ( roughly 925 PP all in all ) and this car seems a perfect match for St. Croix ... very very enjoyable.
Guess we both are aware, as soon as you use a car dominating the competition, the CRB comes way easier as you can reduce time you spend in traffic, there's more options for overtaking and a better chance for staying patient.
Btw I really love that final sector exactly for what you hate so much ...

I was able to do the WC challenge

but it was a struggle for me. I had worked until 1:30 am the night before and I had to go to work the next day so I was very tired last night. I got the 3500 for the St.Croic race but I couldn't keep it on the track. I thought it was a tuning issue but when I switched to the LM55 Gr.1 I was still running off the track although not as much. I was able to win but because I fell asleep a couple of times it was much closer than it needed to be. Next I took the new Vantage to GV but that wasn't good so I chose the GT by Citroen Road car and I was able to come in 2nd. Stick that is a fun car to drive. The rear comes loose easy but it is just an easy to to stabilize it. I am going to have to drive this more

Next up it was Kangoo race. That's a fun little vehicle I maxed it out and there a quick livery on it got 1st. Surprisingly I was awake for that race 🤣

Next I pulled out the Vulcan for easy non sleep filled win 🤗

Finally I used my swapped Jimny for the last race. I was well ahead on this race but I fell asleep again and crashed close to the finish line but I was able to get the win

For all my troubles I got a Veyron which I was able to sell for 990000 cr. After that I shut my PS5 down and went to bed 🛏️

I finished up the weeklies last night.
  • Jimmy Cup: Sierra, can’t remember if it was stock, but it was a pretty easy win. CRB
  • Kangoo one-make: threw a low turbo on it with all the other upgrades and won again easily. Need to fix the ride height.
  • Euro FR: Vantage’18, stock, another win and CRB
  • WTC600: same Vantage from Euro FR, stock pp is 595, so perfect for these. I caught Haywood on the penultimate lap after completely blowing the braking at the bottom hairpin.
  • Gr1: F3500, 120kg of ballast, no stop on FM6, had to short shift a little to make it and RMs lasted full race. Won by more than 40 seconds.
I did enjoy the races this week, even though I don’t really enjoy high downforce cars.

Toyota celica GT four rally car ( 95 ) is a hell of a car for these 600pp races like GV plus is on RH tyres .
At least you save your self from caution:
Slippery and when is dry 😂 .

Here is how I played today:
Special Event: Kangoo
European FR: M2 Competition
WTC 600: I tried with Chiron, but I switched to Afeela Prototype
Jimmy Cup: Jimny XC
Gr 1 Prototype Competition: Peugeot L750R. Right there I played with Soft Tyres, I needed to switch the tyres one time, and I also refueled only 5 percent. And at the end, I deove smoothly to conservate some fuel, but I still finished strong. At Special Event, I finished second, but at the rest of them, I ended up a winner.

All the races were fairly easy again this week, reason being the cars I had chosen were very competitive right away. The Special Event with the new Kangoo was the only one that took a bit more time and effort to get the car up to speed.

Event 1 - Suzuki Jimny XC '18 ( 363 PP ) 🔰

Always thought my Bugatti swapped Viper was a rocket ship ...

Event 2 - Renault Kangoo 1.4 '01 ( 411 PP ) 🔰

No time to waste when delivering fresh baked goods ...

Event 3 - Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint '67 ( 545 PP ) 🔰

Italian track - Italian car - Italian colors - Italian ...

Event 4 - Toyota Hiace Van DX '16 swapped ( 590 PP ) 🔰

Event 5 - Mazda LM55 VGT Gr1 '17 ( 925 PP ) 🔰

No need for that German saying > Platz da - hier kommt Mazda < ...

Event 6 - My 6 star prize car ( 790 PP ) 🚫

Some people here won't understand ;-) but I immediately sold it for 2M ...

In case someone wants to test it am sharing my settings.
Isn't in English but following the digits you can't go wrong.
Has the RACING gear box and the LOW rpm turbo RH tyres and definitely can kill Kokubun 😂

Preparing my cars for this week's events and huh, I don't know if this is 100% the ideal place to comment on this (i did try to find the subject in other posts) but these new cars don't really allow for custom decals on the license plates themselves, do they? Tried to get some local canadian plates on my kangoo and on the mazda and failed miserably x3

That said, of the Gr1 events at least the st croix one is more doable than the average. i admit the daytona and grand valley are extra exhausting to me!

I just use a Radical SR3 SL on Sports Softs. At anywhere near 600PP it's a cheat code; you'll lose out on the straights and maybe have to pass a couple of cars more than once, but you can just drive round the outside of any corner.

I used the LFA at Grand Valley, took P1 just before the finish line. It obliterated the competition on the straights.
I didn't even think about the Escudo.

Got into first at the end of lap 3.

They do. You have to use Body 2 option. It could be a glitch but you can.

For my part, I got a 2018 Ford Race Car. You did a very good job. You were almost like me, but I got second position at Gr1 Prototype Competition. And yes, I was also having issues with the Peugeot L750R

It's a funny case as I like it a lot in the reverse direction, almost like it was designed to be run that way. Great visibility, getting faster and more flowing corner by corner, giving an old school road course feeling. Whereas in the normal direction it makes me want to ask the designer if everything is fine at home if they're doing that kind of stuff at work.

In the end I got the CRB too, no idea how as both the XJR-9 and R92CP hit me pretty hard the the rear quarters but perhaps that's just the reason. And another case of a serious rabbit problem, Wong in the 908 was doing 3'02s and nearly 30 seconds clear of the rest at the end. At one point it looked like he wasn't going to pit at all but fortunately his tyres wore out, fuel wise he could have non stopped it. Which is what I did so I didn't have to make the actual pass.
