I'm back with my weekly races pics.
WTC800 @ Nurburgring Endurance.
Slightly detuned Gr.2 Audi gave me a no-pit race at FM6 with RH tyres. 🔰

Happy Easter everyone ! I've indeed finished two walkthroughs now as intended, one with cars according to Nagano's randomizer, one with my current favorite swap monsters.

ROUND 1 - THE NORMAL ONE

The races at Eiger Nordwand and on the Nordschleife were quite a struggle, I didn't get to grips neither with the Peugeot nor with the Audi and needed 3 or 4 attempts at each event with a couple of restarts. No longish complaints now but let me say I found the Gr.3 AI horrible.

Race 1 : Civic SiR '93 / full stock / 406 PP / P1 🔰 / RT 5:18.973, FL 1:45.026
Race 2 : 205 GTI '88 / CS tires, racing exhaust, ECU 90 % / 434 PP / P1 🔰 / RT 5:32.109, FL 1:22.298
Race 3 : Lancer Evo Gr.B Road Car / full stock / 620 PP / P1 🔰 / RT 10:03.541, FL 1:58.268
Race 4 : GT-R '24 / full stock / 588 PP / P1 🔰 / RT 6:37.873, FL 1:17.951
Race 5 : R8 LMS Evo '19 / RH tires, mid range turbo / 775 PP / P1 🚫 / RT 24:09.628, FL 7:54.578

ROUND 2 - THE SPECIAL ONE

Well, none of these races were hard in any way of course but pure fun. My favorite maybe was piloting the monster van around GV. I had expected a better performance from the Cayman, however ... guess I should have kept in mind it remains a road car after all.

Race 1 : Demio XD '15 / swapped and tuned / 699 PP / P1 🔰 / RT 4:03.348, FL 1:19.476
Race 2 : 205 GTI '88 / SH tires, racing exhaust, high range turbo / 512 PP / P1 🔰 / RT 5:20.459, FL 1:18.135
Race 3 : Hiace Van '16 / swapped and tuned / 590 PP / P1 🔰 / RT 9:12.419, FL 1:48.794
Race 4 : Skyline '70 / swapped and tuned / 665 PP / P1 🔰 / RT 6:13.107, FL 1:12.847
Race 5 : Cayman GT4 '16 / swapped and tuned / 799 PP / P1 🚫 / RT 24:07.474, FL 7:55.207

So far I raced

Eiger with stock black Peugeot 205 GTI from the used dealership on CS. 1st place +10 sec. Probably no need to even upgrade tyres. The race was super fun. Great layout, fun car.

Blue Moon with Godzila
, a tunned R32 to match the iconic 'Calsonic' GTR monster. It was completely OP although I had to adjust the toe angle and drive wide lines because of it understeering so much. It was pretty fun too. 1st place +4 sec.

Next is Nürburgring endurance impersonating Kaz '11, wish me luck 🍀

Well I did the WC on Friday but I haven't been at my pc for a few days. I took the 908 to the Ring

It was a good race in that I only off track a few times  I was able to do a no stop race and win fairly easy
Next I took my 2017 GTR to Blue Moon for an easy win. I didn't take a pic for some odd reason
Then of course the 205 to Eiger for a fun race. That track follows very well forward but not reverse. Some tracks don't need to go in reverse. Eiger is one of them.

Next I started to use the GTR again but I decided to pull a car out of the mothballs the Maserati MC20

I must say that GVS flows so much better in reverse than the normal way. To me I always felt like the original Grand Valley Speedway always seem to flow better in reverse moreso than the normal way.
Finally I wanted to use the latest Civic but I didn't see as available so i used the 15 Civic R in the race for the final win.

I got a 6 * ticket and got 1 million cr from it! So I had a nice takeaway for this week's challenge

This week went fairly easy with no issues other than the behavior of the AI.

For race 1 I pulled out the Civic Si, added suspension, tires, racing brakes, a turbo and some aero and easily went to first. It was great fun, flat out from the tunnel exit to the finish line with only a dab of brakes at the turns. Detuned to 400PP was enough.

I am no fan of either Eiger or the Pug, I think it handles horridly. Faced with race 2, I (literally!) threw a tune on it. A couple tweaks and it's lovely. Made the race easy and a pleasure.

I'm not good at G.V. reverse. I think it has no flow, and I just can't get the hang of it. That being said, I took a "gun to a knife fight" with the BMW VGT. What a superb car. Awesome livery courtesy of mikezub.

The Monster Maxwell Gojira decimated the field in race 4. No issues here other than wanting the competition to move out of my way.

Maxwell Racing notched another win this week in race 5 at the 'Ring. The Lexus Gr.2 is one of the most stellar cars in the game. I cruised to the finish, not needing fuel or tires. Awesome car!

Overall one of the more enjoyable weeklies!

Had a weird one with the WTC800.

Having spent ages trying to get a car that would work well for me. I settled on the Porsche 917 Living legend. Failed a couple of times. And then on my last go, crashed on the third lap dropping me to 7th. As I carried onwards towards the finish. Having totally lost the will to live with it all. I managed to get up to 5th by the last few hundred yards, to then suddenly find 2 cars crawling (i'm assumed ran out of fuel) Literally just as I crossed the finish line. Giving me a third and an event completion. It felt like divine intervention!!!

Moral of the story. Never give up. You never know what crazy stuff might still happen. 😁
Exactly same thing happened to me today, I was P4 and Hizal and Miyazono ran out of fuel few hundred meters before the finish line. I remembered your post!
