Noojra, what lineup are you running w/? i find a good one for me is the very first one they give you, w/ the r390, gt-one, gt40, camaro, vertigo, and me. the spots i use to overtake are pretty much the same ones you do, usually if i can keep up w/ the vertigo and get a good run before the "steps" i can draft him halfway up and overtake him at the top when he brakes. somtimes the gt40 and camaro get jumbled up going up those and if im real lucky i can pass them up too, but this doesnt happen very often. if i cant pass the camaro, i can usually overtake him on the next right hander after the T1, but you gotta be careful w/ that one as theres not much room between him and the wall. the other spot i use it right after the long straight before the tracks, you can definently out-brake a car or 2 there, depending on how close or scattered they are. the third spot i use is after the chicane before the start/finish. i get an exit speed out of there anywhere from 98-100mph if i do it right and can definently get a run on someone if i need to. I usually place second because the gt-one always screws up near the end of the last lap, but w/ the r390 i just cant overtake him unless he and the gt-one get jumbled up, and even then i cant hold them off for that long
ive also got a new clean save. At least i think its clean...theres one questionable incident but i dont think it was an "illegal" move. at the top of the hills i outbraked the vertigo and camaro, and started turning in and the camaro was right next to me on the outside and i kinda scraped up against him a couple times thruought that turn, but i definently wasnt using him as a wall, so thats legal right? i didnt hit him hard, it didnt even make a sound. Other than that, the contact thru the rest of the race was pretty light, and usually AI initiated. lap one saw 37.9/1'20.6 for a 1'41.1, and lap 2 saw 30.6/1'13.1 for a 1'33.4, plus about a good second and half off my total time from my last save. Its definently getting easier now, you just gotta be patient and wait for that perfect race. And you just gotta pick a lineup that works best w/ you, and do it over and over, and get to learn the other cars habits and driving styles, and then just sit back and really use your best judgement. you definently cant overpower them in this car so you just have to wait for them to make a mistake an capitalize on it
