Im not sure, but I think it's in the 160 range.

Haven't actually spent too much time on this race compared to some of the previous races in the weekly.

Why?

well i just wanted to know how many you did (was it miles or km) i cant wait to find out where i placecd

You see, generally this can be determined by your T2 Time. Post this and we can get a pretty good idea how you placed (BTW, what division did you qualify into?)

I have no clue whether it was miles or kilometers, however, for the sake of ease, just say miles.

I actually don't really concern myself with miles driven.

Rather, I only worry about whether my hp has topped out and whether or not my times have topped out.

At the time being, I think my times have topped out.

Then again, if I can put down a good lap with one of my 24.4's it would yeild a time in the 1.05.6 range.

I dont really think Im gonna hit that, but I will keep at it for atleast a lil while.

Hey, don't let the amatuer status get to you...

Its not like I started in the pros.

I was a mid pack amatuer when I started and it took over 10 weeks to work my way up.

Hell, look at IDAFC21, he started as a beginner and now he is a pro. (a fast one at that)

I also thought I would put out this prediction, but Im willing to bet this week will have a seriously light pro turn out. (mark my words)

Nah man!

Looking in the rear view is the first step to a head on collision. :D

Actually, I will be suprised if you don't catch up to the kent train.

However, the train aint stoppin at 1.06.1. 1.05.??? is in my cross hairs and its just a matter of channelling carlos hathcock so I can put down the 2500 meter shot I need as to nail the 1.05.??? Im trying to get to. (If you know hathcocks story, you know what Im saying in a metaphoric sense.)

Oh yeah, forgot to mention this after my lil speech, but... damn, I can really be a dumbass from time to time. (although hathcock would appreciate my recognition of his greatness)

Hi everyone, sounds like you're all having fun with this one. I really wanted to run this week but I actually have a full 3 days off this weekend and have been out doing all the things I never get to do due to too much work:cool: So the PS2 has not been on for a couple days now and I don't think I'll be firing it up until Monday or Tuesday once I get back to work:lol: So I'm only going to have time for ARC this week. I really needed a break from GT3 anyway as I've been playing way too much and needed a few days away so I can be fresh for BC3:D Good luck everyone, and remember it's only a game. At least that's what I tell myself.;)

what the hell is ARC?? I know its austrlain rally champoinshp but how car you be playin it

haha, well get ready to click on the shocked smiley, cuz i dont think it will happen this week. i still can barely break a 1'06.5, and i KNOW i wont get gettin any 1'05's, i have little patience this week for some reason. i tried some laps earlier tonight but just got too frustrated to continue. i'll be lucky to get one more good session in before the deadline

Well, I'm ready to give up now..

I know that i can run faster, but the last fast lap I ran, I was getting so nervous about those close walls that my hands were starting to shake close to the end, so I've decided to accept that enough is enough.

My fastest times so far are:

T1 - 24.490
T2 - 1:06:928

But, I have run a faster overall lap by 0.5 seconds with the following times...

T1 - 24.767
T2 - 1:06.956

So, I'm just going to accept the slower starts, and accept that I know it is possible to go faster than my overall time, but hope that noone else has...

BTW.. I think I'm in amature.. Not to matter.. Going to turn off the PS2 now, and go relax for a while to cool down...

Maybe I'll try and overlay the two runs just for the hell of it to see the differences.

As said earlier - I'll have no more time this week. I'm back at work (it being sunday and all) and it doesn't look like I'll catch the F1 race tonight either :grumpy:

Anyway - Managed a hour or so this morning before I HAD to get out of the door and the best T2 I saw was 1.09.xx...

Me and the Honda PO-S2000 Type V will never be friends... I wanted to hybrid a set of F1 tires on the thing so badly it HURTS :D

I am feeling this exasperation as well.....

I havent even hopped into the S2000 in day.

I think I'm decently satisfied with the time I have.

Unless I get a change of heart by later today or something my times are going to sit at T1 with 24.9xx and T2 of 1'07.6xx.

Well that does it.

I just submitted my time for the week.

I will keep at it, but I dont think it's gonna get any better than what it is.

Till next time...

i myself am done as well with my 25.5 and 1:08.0 :(. but im only done cause i broke my controller after spinnnig out. stupid cars.

i couldn't get a good run in. too bad too. well, i had a 25.1-.3 with a high of 1'06.9xx, but i messed up somewhere. i've had a few 24.7xx, but i kept having trouble with the tunnel.

I'd guess a 1:06.3-4 is possible.

Car's frustrating. I think I fix one problem and get a new one with the original problem returning shortly thereafter.

Still like the course.

Just for comparison.

These speeds are the approximate low end peak speeds entering corners, not the average.

Turn 1: 68

Turn 2: 73

Turn 3: 68

Turn 4: 38

Turn 5: 25

Turn 6: 52

Turn 7: 40

Turn 8: 75

Turn 9: 53

Turn 10: 36

Turn 11: 5?

Sheesh! It's been a helluva weekend. :boggled: I knew it would be a rough one, because the we'd been preppin all week for the Big bosses visit Friday night/Saturday morning (owner of this and 4 other clubs). Then we had one girl 🤬 and the bartender call in sick (I don't think it was coincidence :irked: ) Saturday.

So I got stuck bartending and had to do her shift.

I took off early last night (11pm :grumpy: ) and ran a few laps. I was having so much trouble keeping this car under control in the corners , until I figured out my brakes were the problem. Dropped them to 13/14 and the car's attitude smoothed right out. Just like spanking a young puppy will smarten him up. :D

1'08.5's turned into 1'07.1s real easy 👍

Tonight I should be home early enough to slash my time into the 1'06 range.

that should help me also (I'd imagine; seeing as how yours are the settings I use...). I thought my 1'08 tops were going to be sufficient to win my division, but at the rate everyone else is racing I'll have to do better than that to have a shot at winning...

Used Ellegance's settings to shave over a second off my time (pretty close to making my poorest time in the week 26 race...). Here's the new T-times:
T1: 0'25.307
T2: 1'08.194

Here's the Speeds I was taking the corners at:
Turn 1:-- 63 M.P.H.
Turn 2:-- 78 M.P.H.
Turn 3:-- 62 M.P.H.
Turn 4:-- 44 M.P.H.
Turn 5:-- 23 M.P.H.
Turn 6:-- 57 M.P.H.
Turn 7:-- 48 M.P.H.
Turn 8:-- 43 M.P.H.
Turn 9:-- 76 M.P.H.
Turn 10:- 91 M.P.H.
Turn 11:- 57 M.P.H.
Turn 12:- 30 M.P.H.
Turn 13:- 63 M.P.H.

No time from me this week. I had one lap I did back around wednesday, but I scrapped the wall in a place so nothing to submit. Hope to have something for next week.
