Torment... Now that you should mention it :grumpy:

Ohh well.. Being 1 sec behind ODP at T2.. I can easily live with that ;)

Hate this track almost as much as I hate the car....

Anyway - Just did a, for me, spectacular lap, only problem, had a faster dirty lap in the same setting, so now I have something to chase at least... No ghost though :grumpy:

I'm not gonna freak myself out with this one ... I only do SO much laps and if that's not good enough so be it ...

Did it with the Lancer, so I will probably be lanc slow against ALL the S2000 dudes ... but WHATEVER haha.

My fastest was a T2 of 42.1 ...

Aint that the truth :D  :D

Time has been submitted, will endeavour to get a replay up ASAP

I have the opportunity to spend some time on this and I'm trying to take advantage of it.
Plus, I just want to see if I can do it.
Well, so far I can't. My improvements are coming in increments of .010.     :(
I've gotten close, but dirty.
Tomorrow, I'll have at it again.

@Bollocks#999:
Wait on that replay, until the results are posted.
Usually, early Tues./boomtime.

Fark that. .I don't care.. I've seen times .5 sec better than submitted but I just can't be bothered with this combo no more.. See ya in W37 !....

Cheers

Yes, I tried it on Monday; doesn't even begin to compare to the S2000 or the Silvia. BTW, when can we expect to see some diversity in the tracks? I mean, it's like we're racing the same track every other week...

Well there is a track suggestion thread. Why don't you put up or shut up. :)

Yeah, um, jpec07,

Dont be that guy...

You know, the one who is so quick to point out problems but never gives any solutions. I would like to see what tracks you come up with... it will actually be good since it will represent a new view on the subject.

Looking forward to your suggestions.

Btw, I will have a time in soon, just trying to get into the 40.??? range... I would hate to turn in my time as is.

I guess I should have never taken all that time to test cars like the elise or the trd celica.

edit:
I just did one more lap and had odd results.

I put down a final time that was .050 faster than my previous best, however, my previous best was a 41.0 and my new is a 40.8.

Atleast now I get to post a nice clean 40.8, even though it's not really any faster than my 41.0... oh well.

I have more than a few posts in that thread, and it hasn't had any affect (that I can see). I'll shut up in hopes that we will see some diversity next week...

Well after some heavy frustration of not doing a good lap on my Evo VII GSR, at 1am of today I could finally got a very good time, but I think I could have been a bit faster in the last sector, I made these T times in my best lap:

T1=0'22.199
T2=0'40.736

It isn't that hard to break the 41 sec barrier on the T2, the key is taking at full throttle on the inside that long right corner and then going through the U turn on the inside at about a high 3rd gear, oh and you need to break some in this turn.

Well gonna send the pm to boom and see how it goes, I dont think I could have got a podium..well bye! :)

T1: 0'23.518
T2: 0'42.210
I am really pissed at these pathetic times and this car; there's no chance of my winning this week because I can't control this S2000; it won't grip to anything. My one T1 of 22.6 was blown because the crappy thing wouldn't friggin' stop drifting .

I wasted like 3 hours using that S2000 instead of improving with the Evo VII GSR...I dont like the handling of the S2000...faster than the Evo in straightaways..but I was faster with the Evo in corners...

I don't like the EVO, turn-radius is too small, so the thing constantly understeers and I have messed for hours and hours on the settings to no avail. Anyway, I just ripped a new time out of nowhere, with some pretty weak T times, but it does hold a candle to some of the faster people.
T1: 0'22.853
T2: 0'41.903

I've been finished since I posted my earlier updates.

Time was sent in at that point also.

I might get the chance to run a bit later, but I doubt it.

I'll be looking forward to results as well as next week's race, till then...

Heinrich... Was those times with the EVO?? n which case you are hammering any other evo times I've seen, or seen posted by seconds.... Last night had a quick last ditch effort of 20 laps after getting home late. Came up with a new fastest....

T1 - 0'22.212
T2 - 0'40.920

See you all at the finish..

Best I could do in my Evo 6 RS was-

T1 0:24.288
T2 0:43.974

Turn one on Midfield 2 is a bugger isn't it!
One thing I noticed is that the total time listed on the replay save was slower than the actual replay when I played it. I take it we go by the one on the replay save?

I go by what is listed on the saved file name.

Go to load a replay or save a replay, then on the list of info about each replay there is a time... that time is what we use.

I must be blind cus I don't see a single post from you in that thread. :odd:
So if you don't post, how can you have an effect?

So Jpec, I want you to be the one who decides next weeks track. Either PM it to me or say it here, but it's gonna be your decision.

Im glad your dealing with this in such an easy going way... but let me remind everyone, this is not a democracy, this is a totalitarian dictatorship with only one man in charge- boombexus.

I also want to ask that boom still decides the vehicle to drive on said track.

good luck in picking. (to both you and jpec.)

Umm I don't get clearly your message, but I understood that you asked if I have posted some times..well on early pages I have posted some..I'm telling you..6 straight hours of racing till midnight and more makes me push myself out of my limits:D

And yes, the trick for getting a fast T2 time is that fast U turn before the T2 sector, break when taking turn 1 and at the middle of the turn..go full throttle..you gotta break till like at high 3rd gear(on the EVO)...

Well I'll be submitting my time with T2 of 41.5 with the TME EVO VI. For a half hours work, I'm happy :)

Heinrich, what you need is an Xport. You can order one here. But I don't know if they ship to Panama?
