34.5 and 59.8?! man, I can't even come CLOSE to that..

for me, it's hard to decide between tranny or suspension.....and i can't even get both...=P

Decisions, decisions... There are way too many good cars under 30 000$.

Saw a T2 at 1.01.9xx... Have NO idea what car to use for this :irked:

Edit: And btw. one thing above the tranny - Horsepower.. That long straight is friggin' killing each and every car I've tried...

well new times 34.4/59.6 with a .8 improve over total lap time

My tires cost more than the whole car

BTW i bought
Racing Intercooler
some flywheel (one before racing)
Oil Change
T8 tires (dont count towards priceing)

Isn't this kinda off somewhere.. Playing around with the Z28 last night I managed to spend 29850 without an oil change. So without being able to do the first oil change, then what about the oil changes that will be needed when the car starts loosing horsepower ?... Just a thought....

Read the tag under my screenname.. I suck at typing.. Managed to switch the 8 and the 9.. Amount spend without oil change was 29850...
Original post edited as well...

my car tops out at 217KPH (130MPH) i have to hold the gas a little otherwise it hits the rev limiter. It hits just as i cross the finish line

I see your point Flerb. But if you can't afford a oil change, you can't afford an oil change. If you start accumulating mileage and you strat to lose power, just save the game before you start losing power and reset to that point.

geez boomn cant even let us make oil change if we cant afford it. I think it should be a gimme, The ****ing cars are slow enough as it is.

EVO6 RS right?

I suggest you buy the sports ic instead of racing ic, then you'll afford weight reduction stage1 and that reduces it's weight with 90 kgs, you get a lower p/w ratio. With that setup I got a clean T2 59.8 on my second lap so there's lot to gain.

Oh and I discovered asm is pretty useful here especially in the first corner.

Exactly what i setup made... got fracion over 1min at T2.. had the toput problem too... the evo 7 seems a bit wallowy in comparison.

today was my first day. i still can't decide on the best car. so far my best times have been 34.144/60.254. I think i can still make up a lot of time in sector 2.

i'm running the Z28 camaro with NA Tune 1, Chip and Lighten Stg 1. it brings my grand total up to 29,880. i don't have enough left over for the oil change, but that's okay right? i hope so.

i'll try more stuff over tomorrow.

I'm curious. Why is the Trueno so slow? It appears to be one of the most logical choices in terms of power to weight ratio, so advantageous is it's weight that one might think that even the bit of grip loss it has would not be too detrimental to overall time.

wow you guys are freakin fast!
i cant even manage to break below 1 min on T2 :(
but i guess im in a league of my own :) slowpokes league :)

Well it is time for me to begin on this exercise. I have no idea where to begin, but I will try some of the options and see what I can come up with.

Ahem

Well, after a few laps in an MR2 GT-S the fastest I could whip out was a 35.801 and a 1'02.687. I'm just curious, there are alot of people getting in the range of 59 second T2s; Which car are you using?

I wont say it because there would be no competition around here if everyone notices the fastest car...who knows, maybe there could be a faster car than the one I'm using, search a bit ;)

but for a help, you can't do many mods to it, and I think it has already been mentioned in this thread :)
