New T Times after shifting to the Camaro:
35.049
1'01.230

These aren't my fastest; I've gotten a 34.3 T1 and a 1'00.2 T2, but I slammed into that little niche before the sweeping righty  Oh well, I know I can chop at least another second off it. (Also, the Camaro does sound electricly retarded, IMO)

Shaved that second off to bear these T times:
T1: 0'34.663
T2: 1'00.385
I can get a little faster if I learn to take the turn after T1 a little better. More later, now I must do homework.

okay this is a stupid question... i've been running in SS route 5 wet for 2 days and couldnt get it down below 1 minute..

are we racing in Route 5 dry or wet? :banghead:

Whoah! Dry is it. I guess you can give some serious competition running on the right course.

Oh and Boombexus what does snickers mean? snickers like that candy elephants like?

Snicker is the kind of "tee hee" that people do when they want to hold back their laughter but are almost unable to do so. It's kind of a small laughter in a manner of speaking...

Well I must admit, I suck. . . best I have so far is a 1'00.7xx. . . but my car has a good sum of mileage to go through before it is up to spec, so this might actually be a good combo for me. It sticks to the road like (insert sticky substance). Now if I could only get a cash advance to throw brakes on this thing. . . lol.

Those that would like to know what car is being run I will make some eliminations. . . Nagonna be an Evolution and Nagonna be a Camaro (Although if there was an 89 Iroc as a car I would be driving that to match my real car).

that works, but duct tape has a better use taping up my pants before and after a skate session :D

Been a long while since I've done the weekly race series ... about time to shake out the cobwebs ;-)

Anyway, a half hour of half-serious driving nets me 34.9 / 100.1 in a stock Evo.

I've got designs to try one other car, too, just for kicks.

I forgot how fun this was.

Yea, i've only been going for 3 weeks but this is definately a good race. However i'm too lazy too set cars up or to test different cars. The first one i pick up stays:D Not gunna say what car i used and i cant remember my t times, but they're really arent going to be competitive. I also handed my time in this morning......i got exams at the moment so i dont really have time for gt3 :( . But next week i hope to get more time in as i finish my exams!!!!YAYAYAYAYAYA!!!!!!

New times with my Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI RS times:

T1: 0'34.114 (optimistic Replay Theater time)
T2: 0'58.801 (optimistic Replay Theater time)

I've fiddled around with the VII generation Evolution, and from what I've seen, it's still a good deal heavier and won't beat the VI's power to weight ratio. Unless someone else knows of a faster combo with the VII.

I have a Camaro SS ready to go that will hopefully see some better times.

Whew. Finally, I got out of that commitment. Last year with the "Care Bears" theme and this year with the "My Little Pony" can't say I'm sorry to miss it. :P

new best time by .3 got a 33.747/58.949

according to the analyzer using my previous best lap and this new one i can drop .556 seconds if i were to put all my best sectors together. :)

Although I've never done it, I think you can use the data logger to load two best lap replays and compare them there.
Try it and see or RTFM. ;)

Well I'm so glad even seeing that the beginners are pulling fast times, unfortunately I havent had the chance to improve my time, I guess it can only be done today because next 2 days I have to study for finals, well good luck all :)

T1: 33.651... and then i kinda messed up on the hairpin, hence
T2: 59.271
enough to cut down the previous time by like 1.5 sec

There's a time I'm aiming for, but i'll take the time I've got if I have to.

Well, I've not participated in one of these for some time.

Here's my lap, if you're interested.

Tunnel: Brake near inside, keep along wall as tightly as possible, maintaining good acceleration. Minimum speed: 83

Clip inside rumblestrip of right hand turn so that I'm in the middle lane: Min: 97 at point before braking.

Brake down to 58-60 mph, rev if necessary.

Turn after T1. Enter from the far left and throttle lift so that the car will go as smoothly as I can get it to. Min: 87

Left hairpin: Brake at or a bit before last blue turn sign, slowing to as low as 42, preferable 44/45.

Clip rumblestrips.

When near the final braking point, brake to about 85 before the right hand side rumblestrip, then again to about 64 before the penultimate right turn, lifting to avoid clipping wall, if necessary. 3rd gear not used.

gt4, keep it up; I'm hoping that you'll be moved up to amateur division so tah t I can take the prize...

eh i have to be able to show consistent performance above beginner level and i would say this is the first one ive done. i am surprised myself at how i am staying up near the top so far, surprised yet very pleased :)
