Well, I am completely in dismay this race. My car has no chance in keeping up with any of the top dogs this week, but I am going to put in my time for the little four banger I gotz.

i think we're racing the same car but im pretty sure you're gonna beat the cr*p out of me :embarrassed:

im gonna submit my time now... i dont have time tommorrow + i give up.. i raced to my limit already and i cant improve anymore
so yea.. see you all next week!!

great race boom!!! loved it!!

I never drove enough to need a second oil change. I wasn't sure if the car could raise hp any higher. Oh, well.

Where is Oliver and Carbon? I'd like to see what sort of psychotic times they're pulling.

33.565 / 58.251

Nothing special as I only ran it for two hours total, there's alot more left to get if I had more time.:embarrassed: The car shall remain a mystery for this week however;)

And I've been wondering, are the sector times in the Replay Theater accurate or optimistic? Sometimes they seem a bit too high, but these seemed to be very close to what I saw.
The Replay Theater lap times will almost always be a little quicker than the original time (displayed when you run the lap, and also in the file info). The sector times in the replay will be quicker than the original sector times by the same difference as the lap times (excepting an occasional 0.001 round-off error). The difference ranges from 0 (rare) to a few hundreths, and seems to be random (not influenced by lap time, speed at the start/finish line etc).

Meanwhile, my EVO VI is bringing up the rear at 34.5, 59.7 :(

I think my little roadster is bringing up the rear actually. . . nailed a 59.7, but you'll beat me on the straight :(.

I was thinking that the miata would be a pretty decent competitor this week, but I think that the Lancer's gonna take the overall prize.

Eh, I haven't had enough time to experiment and work on a car this time around, so I'll sit this one out.

This is amazing, well, for the first time I couldnt improve my time in more than about 2 hours of racing, geeze my hands and fingers hurt and I just give up, I'm gonna submit my time too and btw, the car I'm using is the one that almost everyone is using...Evo VII with lightweight stage 1 and racing intercooler, TCS and ASM both at 0

I ran a few more laps and shaved about .02 off my previous time, but there was on part that was very close to hitting the wall, however the new time was an easy to tell clean lap. I'll probably be on this one for most of the night.

Okay, I got a new lap done, and this will be the one I submit. I barely got under 58 with a T2 of 57.989. A very fun race, and why? BECAUSE BOOM STOLE IT FROM TOFU AND I!! :D :D :D

VG30DETT, you still using the EVO6?

I was using the Camaro SS for awhile was alright, tryed out the EVO7 also, that thing is piece of, well lets just say it doesnt have a piece of handling in it, i am using the Z28 right now have a T1 of 34.643 and a T2 of 1'00.073 and an over all lap time of a sub 1'30. This whole race has got me all confused, i dont even know how im doing compared to everyone else, lol. I think i am going to try the EVO6 for a bit and see how that goes down.;)

Nah. I went with the VII. :P As much as I liked the VI, it just wasn't cutting it. I even tired it with some different equipment, but still no dice. I went through like four Evo's and a Camaro this race :P

VG30DETT, if you dont mind some competition, think you could be the nice guy i know you are and let me know your setup for that EVO7?;)

lol, I had ASM off, and TCS set to 1 I believe. Downforce was something like 44.... Somewhere around there. I'm doing one of these races for Tercel, after I get a chance, I'll check on 'em.

Oh c'mon man, the due date is tomorrow i need alot of practice, i need what parts you have and i think i have half of your setup, lol:embarrassed:

If I'm not mistaken, I think its due at midnight tonight. Unless boom changed it around on us.

Anyway....

Mitsubishi Evolution VII RS.

Mods:
Lightweight Stage 1
Racing Intercooler
T8 (Super-Soft) Tires

Settings:
Downforce: 0.19/0.36
ASM: 0
TCS: 1

oh yeah, 91 Miata - Turbo 1, Race Fly, Super softs, Lightweight 1, sport suspension, Sport Exhaust and chipped.

I am trying that miata setup right now, its SOOOO similar to the Z28 or SS it feels like it is moving alot faster but i look at the speed and its around the same, BUT i only ran one lap and im beatin my best T's that i had with the Z28:cool:

It is not anything great. . . I think that Miata needed a Rotary to power it though

Damn, if i could only get like 30 more hp out of this miata i could 0wn j00z 4LL:lol: but yeah thats the whole thing "if" i could, or can i?:odd:

Time submitted. I got in a good session this evening, and shaved nearly a second, but none of it in the first two sectors!

best lap sectors were 34.631 and 59.736

Best sectors were 34.2xx and 59.4xx.

I'll for sure have to look at some replays. I'm definitely missing something in the first sector. I was in the EVO VI with light-weight 1, sport exhaust, semi-race fly, and oil (340 hp, 1171 kg). Might have done better in the EVO VII, or one of the Camaros, but I was out of Dramamine, and couldn't handle the excess motion.

Good Luck all!
