Had a couple of high 58's last nite...me and the ferrari have come to an understanding,consistancy gonna be key for me at suzuka and i feel a bit better knowing that i can manage the car much better now that i've done the seasons track tour and learning the car and setups.

I noticed that i have double books my scheluder/calendar on certain saturdays.
Now i have decided which one series i'm going to race on those saturdays that i have double books.
I'll not race these:
-5 oct: Daytona RC
-2 nov: Monza
Does this make me part time driver? I'm only one that drives MB.

JUST A FEW THINGS
Just wanted to remind you all of a few things before we get going officially
1st is that I will be on tomorrow evening for a practice session for anyone who would like to join 👍
TIMETABLE
Timetable will be as follows (GMT+1):
Room open 6pm latest
6:10 qualifying spec checks
Qualifying 6:15 - 6:45
at 6:50 I will leave to open the race room
Spec check will be done as soon as all drivers get there.
7:00 race start
LOBBY SETTINGS
Qualifying will be hosted in my private lobby.
Race will be hosted in a public lobby (to reduce lag).
All drivers must wait in the private lobby until one of the stewards confirms the public room is open.
Tires: Racing Medium/ Racing Hard
Driving Aids: Prohibited except ABS on 1.
Tyre/Fuel Consumption - Normal
Damage - Light
Slipstream - Weak
Penalties - Off
(on weak for qualifying)
Boost - Off
Grip - Real
Race Finish Delay - 180 seconds
(you will not be classified if you do not finish within 3 minutes of the race winner)
REGULATIONS
On A straight FIA rule's apply!
I.E. ONLY 1 DEFENSIVE MOVE (NO WEAVING ON THE STRAIGHTS)
ONCE YOU HAVE MADE YOUR 1 MOVE YOU MUST THEN LEAVE SPACE FOR A CAR WHEN YOU MOVE BACK
The track limits are defined by the white line!
On pit entry and exit you must keep all 4 wheels inside the white pit line.
RETIRING FROM THE RACE
If you wish to retire from any race you will do this by driving to the pits and pressing pause.
Any drivers that leave the track will be considered as 'rage quitted' and will receive a penalty of 2 championship points.

RANTS VIA PSN MESSAGE WILL BE IGNORED AND UNRULY CHAT OR PUBLIC GT PLANET POSTS WILL RESULT IN YOUR OWN PENALTY
You must state the following in the message:
RACE
LAP
TRACK LOCATION
DRIVERS INVOLVED
PLEASE DO NOT GIVE YOUR OPINION YET
YOU WILL BE GIVEN YOUR CHANCE!!!!
The head steward will then PM all drivers involved to notify them that they are under investigation for an incident and will include all the above information and request you watch the replay and explain your thoughts on the incident.
You will have a further 12 hours to watch the replay and respond to this.
The head steward will then forward your messages to the rest of the stewards panel.
The stewards will then make their decision and post the results, we will aim to do this within 12 more hours and full results will be posted.
PENALTIES
In the case of a penalty being applied the stewards are free to chose what type of penalty to apply depending on the severity of the incident.
PENALTY TYPES:
Most small incidents will result in a warning
3 Warnings will result in a 5 place grid penalty for the next race.
3 more will result in a 5 point deduction penalty
3 more will result in a race ban
3 more will result in a series ban
More severe incidents will carry a more severe penalty.
Time penalty: size dependent of severity of incident
Points penalty: size dependent of severity of incident
The stewards may decide to disqualify a driver from a race if they see fit.
The stewards may impose a race ban for 1 or 2 events.
The stewards may impose a series ban
APPEALS
If you disagree with a steward decision you may appeal once and this must be done by private message to the stewards with an explanation why you think we should reconsider.
We will then come to a further agreement and message you back with our decision and follow by making any amendments to race results.
If your appeal is turned down then the decision is final.
Any further appeals will be taken as 'moaning' and you will be warned.
persistent 'moaning' will result in a penalty.
PLEASE REPORT EVERYTHING
Please help the stewards to ensure that driving standards stay to a good level by reporting anything you see or do so that we can have a look.

That´s right, especially on Suzuka. Further, once you crash you have lost your position til the end of race or til the driver in front of you crashes, too... but we´ll see, how it´s gonna be

Hey guys, good looking series you have here! If these races are run on schedule I should just about be able to fit this in, but I'm not 100% certain of that statement. As a part timer you are still a part of the championship right? And if you can show up to all races as a part timer?

Yeah I understand that completely.
I just run as a reserve in another series where the room opens at around 9PM on Saturdays. But since it's only bi-weekly I can run the weekends when they're not on at least, and in theory I can also run the weekends they are racing.I am definitely able to run Suzuka on Saturday, though. So if you guys are doing a practice room or something before hand, let me know, and if not I will see you on Saturday!

The races are set to finish early if anything so without delays (or rain) you should be OK 👍
There is a practice session on every Thursday before each race at the same hours of the race (6pm-9pm ish)

you are probably ok, but if you want a few pointers for the Viper I'm happy to help, see you on track 👍
Not just after the drivers and team championships, you want Dodge to win the manufacturers as well
Any decision or penalty imposed can be appealed and with good reasoning the penalty can be withdrawn
Plus if you have to go out or something due to real life reasons you can still park in the pit, pause it and go do what you have to do as long as you don't mind leaving your system on for a while

I'm in, but pretty sure my pedals are gonna **** me over. Was doing a little setup work today and after 30 mins the sticky acc started it's nonsense. And once it starts it doesn't stop. I'll do what I can to clean them out, check the connections but not holding my breath.
