FINAL TEST RESULTS

So this weekend was the final 2 test's of the pre-season

Starting at Monza.

There was a very low turnout for Monza with only 3 drivers attending so no race was completed but some laps were set and here are the times

As there wasn't a race completed there of course are no race results to post so I can go straight on to the Nurburgring.

Again there was quite a low turnout with only 5 completing the race.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

The track limits are defined by the white line!
On pit entry and exit you must keep all 4 wheels inside the white pit line.
Pit lane lines may vary for some tracks so please read the next race information post.​

Glen I am sure you forgot again
RS I am not sure if you are understanding the rule properly but please try to ensure you stay inside the pit lane until the white line ends. The white line on entry and exit of the pit lane shows where the pit lane starts and ends and dictates where you should be.

I did notice the incident on lap 1 (RS and Caine) but having looked at it there was not a lot either driver could have done to avoid this (RS was a passenger in his own car and in a valley so Caine couldn't see where exactly he was on the track) so will be deemed a racing incident

Now we get down to business with race 1 on Saturday

PIT LANE
The pit lane is dictated by the white line.
There is no white line on pit entry so this is dictated by the pit wall.
When leaving the pit lane there is a white line that you must stay to the right of until the end!

I will be hosting a pre-race practice session on Thursday's from 6pm for all that can get there. For those that can't attend this please fine 3-4 hours to practice yourself. Please limit your practice to this amount of time to be fair to all others as not everyone has the same amount of time to practice 👍

On race day my private lounge will be open by 6pm with spec checks at 6:10pm
IF YOU MISS SPEC CHECKS YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO QUALIFY SO PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME!
Qualifying is from 6:15pm-6:45pm
If you know you will miss spec checks for qualifying please make sure you tell me if you will be there for the start of the race as I will be hosting a public lounge set to allow the amount of drivers that qualified.
Public race room will be open by 6:50 and all drivers will be expected to get there as quickly as possible so we can get another spec check done before race start at 7pm

Yes you can but there are the maximum of 4 independents already so IWIN will need to be happy to change too

I came over the crest and misjudged what direction he was spinning in, thought I saw a gap and went for it, only for that gap to close once I had committed to it.

Was a terrible race for me, had a niggly headache all afternoon so wasn't in the best of moods, didn't get any track time before the race, so was out of sync abit. I didn't even have the right setup selected! Just couldn't get in the zone and kept making silly mistakes, which made me even more irate, in the end, decided to park up and have a Jack n coke.

Just Saturday, is showing dry all day and as there no change time we will be using daytime so about 13:00 maybe

That would be an issue as that would make 6 Independents and I have only allowed 4

The only way it could work is if I team up with IWIN (being that we both in R8's) and you take my independent slot.
I am happy to do this and have PM'd IWIN to get his thought's 👍
Need to get this figured asap as cut off is this evening and right now it is way past IWIN's bed time so he will not see until he gets up.

Would have to speak to IWIN and see if he is happy with that.

I'm not fussed mick make the changes also guys make sure your all ready ill be getting off gta 5 at the end of this week and I will come ready I will say this much the r8 will be hard to catch at suzuka.

Little word of advice Mikey using PP to balance these cars really doesn't work We tried in BST and failed miserably.

There is a saying Don't open your mouth unless you have the right answer most likely a saying that Johnboy has not heard off once again I will say it again I don't think that there is to many people that can workout gt5 like I can in every way.

Now my Motto is there is no can't only CAN.

That being said I want everybody's opinion on the cars based on what cars they have actually used.

Your feedback is important to me this is for people that have signed up for this series who have actually completed a preseason race in there cars.

LAST LINE UP CHANGE

As some of you will know already RS__96__oO is wanting to change car to the Ferrari 458 from the Audi R8. To make this possible within the allowed number of cars and independent drivers I have allowed for I will now be teaming up with IWINNUMBER1 at WIN Racing and still driving the Audi R8 While RS will now switch to Independent and drive the Ferrari 458 👍

This is the last change to the driver/teams line up (unless anyone else joins 👍



PP BALANCE

IWIN and myself would like to know how satisfied you all are with how balanced the cars are to eachother?

Do you think there is a car that is too fast, or too slow, or do you think they are all fairly well balanced?​

My target for this series is to run those races from the start to the end, joying, having fun and do my best to void any mistakes and incidents. If i'm last then i'm last it's really doesn't matter because a length of the races itself are challenge to me that i gonna win

I have ran all the cars at their respective pp at a few different tracks with the exception of the corvette and lotus, and for me the cars are balanced well,in my opinion anyone good in the gallardo should be the fastest but we all know it aint easy to drive .I'm quickest in the r8 usually a second quicker than the dodge and ferrari which are both within a tenth of each other and then a second slower again in the ford and sls but this is probably down to just a basic setup and not as much track time.The only thing i will say is the difference between the real grip in the rwd an the 4wd being if you run off (which we should'nt but it happens)can cost you and extra second or two in a rwd as opposed to the 4wd.

I haven't tested all the cars but have tested more than just the GT-R and R8 and thought they were very close 👍

The fact that you lose more time in the RWD's when off the track is just the nature of the oversteer you get with the dirty tires.

I usually love the GT-R but for some odd reason in the current trim I am quicker in the R8

IWIN did a great job with balancing the cars. They all have their own specific advantages and disadvantages depending on the track. Of course not every car fits to a single driver or his driving style, so just choose the right one lol

Yes, I´ve seen it
With the 458 I can go the pace, whereas I had problems with the R8 although it has GREAT handling. Well, I´m hoping for some interesting races!

I'm in the same boat. After testing some tracks and comparing times, I know I'll be in the back, but I just want to have a great time in a long race. This time I just want to finish without a crash.
