Well I'll go into my settings aswell then. DJ can start in front of me.

Oh OK lol if you want him to start ahead then I will put you at the back with him in front of you if he has entered settings after spec check.

psn-niftyshifty2 SLS 10' thanks mikey!
Welcome mate, you will need to think of a team name at some point as all the independent SLS's have been taken so I will have to put your car in the teams championship 👍

I can't connect so that is me out :(

Championship is over for me now :(

Why don't you team up with Dan for the remaining races.

I can't connect so that is me out :(

Championship is over for me now :(

Keep trying mate, I just reset my end, might help you get in with someone else as host.

I thought you got a new 1 a few weeks ago? What settings did you decide on in the end?

Yea I did but it met a wall
New provider asap I think
And decided as is atm
Weather 50% (play with until overcast)
Changeability I think was 2/3

Had fun tonight but was totally in the dark about my race position after getting a lag start. It said I was in 1st until Parabolica on lap 3 when RS overtook me and it changed to 2nd. And it stayed saying I was in 2nd for the rest of the race, hence my surprise at actually finishing 2nd! Started on inters and although it gained me some cheap positions early on, once the dry tyre runners got warmed up I was dead meat.

I tried my best to hold Caine up as much as I legally could on his way past me but I had to dive in the pits on lap 6 for meds as I was losing too much time. Wanted to go in on lap 5 but I had two cars inside me coming out of Parabolica so couldn't. From then on I had to stretch out my 4 stopper to offset making my first pit stop 7 laps earlier than planned. The strategy was to stop every 13 laps. So in again on L21, L36 and L51 saw me through to the finish.

Over-fueled slightly but apart from that an incident free race from my point of view. Well, minus DJs best attempts to ruin my race early on. Was shooting for 4th place to wipe my pp handicap but like I said, my position indicator was crook for the whole race. I thought Glen was on the same lap as RS. Same for Caine. Oh well.

I couldn't connect again tonight, because I use a shared internet connection and there wasn't enough bandwidth. I'll try again next week but i'm not optimistic. Was looking forward to racing with some new people as well.

Was a poor race from me. As soon as I started practice the Viper just had no pace. Tried various setups but nothing really worked effectively, which is unusual for me, and for the track!

Had a relatively good start (didn't run wide at T1 ) and came out in 2nd. Had a good battle with TK, but after my 1st stop I was on my own and that was it for the race really. Made some silly mistakes which cost me about 20 seconds, and effectively 2nd place, but never mind.

Was shocked to see RS 20+ seconds ahead after 10 laps....

As for the championship, that 2nd pretty much clinches it for you Rob bar a miracle! And with Mike's issues, it seems I'm a safe 2nd.

Official results and tables will be posted after the Stewards meeting

Was a bit of an eye opener for me, after starting on inters(assuming the track saturation WAS going back to 60% when the race started)i only got 4-5 laps before needing to pit for slicks which put me on the back foot early on and had me thinking i was gonna need 5 stops! however after my third stop it was apparent i may manage a 4 stopper but had only put enough fuel in for a 13 lap 3rd stint which meant in my fourth stop on lap 43 i needed 80 litres of fuel :banghead: and had to make my tyres grip for 22 laps..managed but only just..it got me thinking about the races we've done already and the extra pits i've had :ouch: probably could've had a few better results but hey ho its all a learning curve!

This was my first online endurance race
I had high hopes as any noob probably has....
managed a 3 stop strategy pits lap 16-32-48. prerace was a 4 stop strategy
Through lap 10 to 16 i had a nice battle with caine which made that decision for me
Note to self <--- does not matter how much pace you got if you ditch the car in parabolica 3 times grrh.
Untill pitstop at lap 48 i was in 2nd pos and pritty happy with that. not sure how or why i lost so much time in last stint. Fatigue?? or just poor driving dunno
The start for me was a mess, i am dead meat in wet conditions and chose to race in the back to avoid further accidents.
But not before bumping into glen in first chicane, sorry mate.
Anyways already sweating over Monaco but will do my best to grap a better finish pos there

After rewind i loose 1 or 2 possible spots on lap 54 :(

Tk out

I was very happy with my 1st win, the car and the strategy worked a lot better than I thought! Made mistakes which cost me about 20 seconds, but that luckily didn´t matter in the end..
It´s a big shame that Mikey and Total couldn´t connect, hopefully you both won´t get any more issues!
Oh and welcome TK and nifty! Glad to have you onboard :)

@Tk_Hansen not sure but maybe you took less fuel at the start compared to others so had to fuel more at the end. Was a good effort though mate, kept me honest for pace!

Very good. A lot of work has gone into that. Well done Caine.

I think it's strange if you miss a Race your pp handicap is still waiting for you at the next Race. Surely 0 pts is punishment enough and should be counted as finishing off the podium.

In my case it does feel a little unfair as I missed races only due to technical issues but if that rule wasn't in place then there would noing to stop people from getting their pp penalty and missing the next race to reset their pp and if you have a driver quick enough to win every race then could be possible to take the title based on all wins and never have a pp penalty.

Also thanks caine great job keeping things up to date, I will update OP when I can get online with PC 👍

I doubt it. The max you'd get from winning a Race, then missing one, then winning a Race ... etc. etc. would only be 100 pts. It would still be far better to just purposely finish off the podium every other Race. It still wipes the pp handicap, AND you score points. Even coming say 6th four times would get you an extra 32pts!

Having to keep a handicap after scoring 0 pts seems like a double penalty. Especially when you consider a 4th place would get you 12pts and the pp handicap reset!

I know what you mean, would be hard but I put the rule in place to avoid people taking the ****. Just a shame the only person to really suffer from it has been myself

Also it is possible that someone could win 1 enter the 2nd and win -6pp then miss the next and do the same again. 6 wins would give 150 points. Would be tight but possible if someone quick enough and I felt I had to put something in place to avoid anyone trying it.

Edit: all things to learn for the next series and been thinking of basing the pp penalty on championship standing rather than last race result.
