I know what you mean, would be hard but I put the rule in place to avoid people taking the ****. Just a shame the only person to really suffer from it has been myself

Also it is possible that someone could win 1 enter the 2nd and win -6pp then miss the next and do the same again. 6 wins would give 150 points. Would be tight but possible if someone quick enough and I felt I had to put something in place to avoid anyone trying it.

Edit: all things to learn for the next series and been thinking of basing the pp penalty on championship standing rather than last race result.

I just don't think skipping a race gives the advantage you think it does. If the handicaps were wiped for not doing a racing you are still scoring 0 pts, compared to someone who races and takes a tactical 4th or lower. Same effect; handicap is reset but they've scored anything up to 12 pts. So the rule doesn't actually stop anything.

This timer is set for 18:00 GMT Saturday
DUE TO DAYLIGHT SAVING ENDING ALL RACES FROM NOW WILL BE 1 HOUR EARLIER FOR THOSE OUTSIDE THE GMT TIMEZONE BUT WILL STILL BE 18:00 GMT NOT GMT+1 AS THEY HAVE BEEN PREVIOUSLY

TRACK LIMITS

As always the track limits are defined by the white line.
If you can't see a white line then 2 wheels on the black tarmac at all times.
2 wheels on rumble strips only doesn't count and will be counted as a cut.
We will be policing the chicane after the tunnel strictly.
Anyone seen cutting will be given a 5 second penalty for every cut.

PIT LANE
ENTRY

The pit entry is on the right as you exit the Rascasse and before the final turn.
As always please join the pit lane at the start of the white entry line.

EXIT

As you exit the pit lane there is a white line that you must stay to the right of until it crosses the final Zebra crossing, as shown in the picture below:

PRACTICE

I will be hosting a pre-race practice session on Thursday's from 6pm for all that can get there. For those that can't attend this please find 3-4 hours to practice yourself. Please limit your practice to this amount of time to be fair to all others as not everyone has the same amount of time to practice 👍

RACE DAY

On race day my private lounge will be open by 5.30pm with spec checks at 6:10pm
Please arrive early to avoid last minute connection issues
IF YOU MISS SPEC CHECKS YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO QUALIFY SO PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME!
Qualifying is from 6:15pm-6:45pm
If you know you will miss spec checks for qualifying please make sure you tell me if you will be there for the start of the race as I will be hosting a public lounge set to allow the amount of drivers that qualified.
Public race room will be open by 6:50 and all drivers will be expected to get there as quickly as possible so we can get another spec check done before race start at 7pm

I'm yet to do some testing for Monaco, but I think from the pre-season tests the times were about 1'33 - 1'34.

My R8 is getting 1'36's.. I might give the vette a shot...

The vette shouldn't be faster at either monaco or nurburgring, fastes car at both in pre-season. Wait until tomorrow and try my set up and see what happens.

Been fine for me. Sorry I didn't attend tonight. Usual story; clashes with BTCC. Anyway, ran a few laps earlier in the week and knocked out a best of 1:33.3 with dodgy gearing. Pretty happy with that, considering.

There would be a more serious penalty in place for incidents like that. But don't worry a lot of work needs to go in on GT6 before we get to it and then things like this will be decided last 👍

True. Although usually people are on their best behaviour if they know that. Agree it can be bad for innocent parties sometimes though.

Yeah i would feel much better about it with most of the drivers i know...but you know that saying "there always one"....thats all it takes..lol.. however i'll be happy to go along with whatever the regulations may be.👍
