I saw a M4 last week and I thought I love to see the 2023 M4 CSL in GT7at some point but guess I will have to wait for that to be GT8 🤣

Some brands would have a lot more cars, if I included Standard and Premium cars from past games. In time I will do a similar list for those cars, on the right thread.

Oh, I meant to link the image, not upload it. Ah whatever, beautiful car, it's called Gran Turismo, that worked for the Maserati.

I think pretty much any car with any kind of sporting intention has already made these lists. GT should just add EVERY CAR EVER. lol

But... what about SUVs? We've had a lot of bonkers SUVs as of late, and it would be nice to have that niche to play around with.

Porsche Cayenne Turbo/RS
Mercedes GLC/GLE 63S
Jeep Cherokee Trackhawk/SRT
BMW X5/X6 M
Ford Explorer ST
Aston Martin DBX/707
Lamborghini Urus
Audi RSQ8/SQ5

I think it would be fun to have SUV specific classes, as well as pitting them up against other types of cars. They also have a lot of real estate for liveries.

Only if they work on the roll-over physics, because most of those would be on their roof as much as they're on their wheels.

@05XR8 my poop isn't at your suggestion per se, I know you love your racers. I just can't forgive BMW for foisting that front end on my eyes 😅

GT Concept - and GT4, 5, and 6 - had the Land Rover Range Stormer (which became the RR Sport), the Mazda MX-Crossport (which became the CX-7), and the Infiniti FX45 (which became... the FX45) so quick SUVs aren't that unfamiliar in the series.

And they were hilarious; the Range Stormer lurched forward so hard under braking it was like dropping an anchor out of a coracle.

Outside the most notable missing cars like the Ford RS200 (road and group B)

Lotus in general but specifically a 88-92 Esprit SE (chargecooled 2.2L) with the windowed hatch. Sure the extra glass was heavy but it has never been featured in any GT game(not even in Lotus Challenge for the PS2) and the high strung 4 would be fun.

honorable mention
Venturi 400 GT - lots of other french cars, why not this one?
Noble M12 or 400 - enough said

honestly too many to list. I just want to see my car featured in a GT game.

Oh, forgot about the Ford GN34 mid engine concept.

Which were in GT2 (rally) and GT4-6 (road).

Which was in GT2.

This thread isn't for those cars, it's for cars that have never been in a GT game before.
Oops. My bad I missed that detail for this thread and forgot the Venturi was in GT2.

No. Modern sport SUVs don't have any sort of "roll-over issue". They are fast, capable, well braked sport vehicles that just happen to be super huge, heavy, hatchbacks.

I'm not talking about 90s Explorers and Isuzu Troopers here.

This... so I can have my car in game please! Need some wagons (estates) in GT7!

GT7 urgently needs current GT3, GT2 and GTE racing cars. GT7's Gr.3 class roster is basically the same as GT Sport's.

  • KTM X-Bow GT2 '21 (Gr.3)
  • BMW M4 GT3 '21 (Gr.3)
  • Corvette C8.R GTLM '19 (Gr.3)
  • AMG Mercedes GT3 Evo '20 (Gr.3)
  • Cadillac AST.VR GT3 '14 (Gr.3)
  • Radical RXC Turbo GT3 '18 (Gr.3)

I wish us Aussies got some love. We tend to always get shafted by PD.

In GT4 we had 4 cars. In GT5 2 of those were removed.

Aussie motorsport has some great cars from its history. I'd love some of the V8 Supercars. Those cars on Mount Panorama are a match made in heaven.

tesla model X or model S Plaid, shame theres only one and its from '12.
The new nissan Z super gt car would be nice surprise

Many have suggested and called for the E36. Forget the Holy Trinity of Porsche, McLaren & Mercedes and Ferrari :sly: PD will get that BMW in. Same as we waited for the E30, it’s coming sooner than PD Soon. ;)

I just hope they throw a curve ball and put the 3.0 in with amber indicators. If the E36 does get featured in a game, it's always the 3.2 Evo. The earlier car is said to be more eager to rev.
