What are good track set ups to make and limitations to race with friends?

I have a few friends who race on GT7 and I would like to do my own set ups in the lobby with limited PP, Group, fuel consumption, and tire wear. Any good ideas or ones that you would like to share that are fun to run. We did one last night but I think it was too short and tire wear set to high. We are all relatively new to this. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. - Will
