Just eating some almond sponge run-off from the Gooseberry and Almond flan I've made. Almond sponge is unbelievable!

Two donuts with sugar on and two with chocolate on.

Same as the ones with that pink sugar and the ones
with that brown chocolate.

I want A&W in the UK!! miss it soo much :nervous: The only thing that tastes remotely like it here is dandelion and burdock but its just not the same.. :indiff:

You can get Bundaberg Root Beer in Waitrose if you have one near by.

I have a bowl of Samboys and a glass of Nelson County Bourbon & Coke at the moment. Loving it...but I just ran out of bourbon. On to the vodka!

Finished a healthy (in amount) dinner of steak, mashed potatoes, assorted vegetables and rice. A special occasion it was; this is my brother's last week here before he goes to study biology in Costa Rica for the summer, and thus we could only have one of his favourite meals... I'm not complaining, though.

I dunno where in the UK you're at but I can get them easily in asian shops around london.

I'm enjoying a mid-cookery beer, while I have my inaugural Glasgow Martian Chilli simmering on the stove :D When I had my own place in London from Oct 2007 to Apr 2008, I used to cook pots of chilli all the time (practically every week, anyway), but for some strange reason I haven't made one since I moved to Glasgow - until now! 3 Bird Eye chillis in this one promises to give it a hell of a kick, 4 cloves (well, segments, whatever they are called) of garlic, and my workmates will probably require gasmasks tomorrow :dopey: The longer it simmers, the better it is usually, so I'm going to sink this Carlsberg and then it's chilli o'clock. Now if only I had some Guatemalan insanity peppers! :scared:

They are cloves, TM.

Had some new season English runners with my casserole tonight. Nothing beats it for a veg. Though fresh cobblers run it close.

I had my usual breakfast of "Redbull and No-Doz" (referred to as "Cranking the Screws". As in "I cranked the screws at 5:45 this morning")

Lunch is water & No-Doz, with a bit of pasta.

I had a really bad flu today, so all I had was a bunch of water (going is a lot easier with water), lots of Ginger Ale, and my dad bought me a liter of Sprite which I'm drinking now... Feel much better now :)
