Drinking a chocolate banana milkshake from Sonic. It'd be great if you could actually suck it through the straw though. And it's to big to fit in my microwave. :(

Watching #LM24:

6:44 pm, still sipping on coffee, about to switch to beer and thinking about grilling a pizza. It feels like 11 in the morning. Weird day man!

Pulled pork sammie. Not smoked, because I don't want to miss the race. Slow cooker. Not as good, but still good eats. Green grapes for desert.

Liquid Smoke FTW :)

Beer & iced tea, watching LM24, 7 hours to go.

Having some mixed seafood - octopus, shrimp, mussels, oyster - mixed some pico de gallo, and a can of clam chowder. V8 juice as drink.

Dinner was XLNT mini tamales with cheese and Tapatio hot sauce.

Those look really good. Just googled 'XLNT mini tamales', not much info - in fact your post was about the fifth one on the list (google is fast).

Where do you get those?

There are good tamales here in Houston, but they are expensive and it is hit or miss. Growing up in Kentucky, I thought the canned Hormel tamales were good, but a little greasy.

Salmon fillets with a soy sauce, wasisabi, ginger treatment with Kimchi fried rice as the side with fried eggs in it. Deschutes' Twilight Ale.

Check again. It's now first and second. :)

I buy them at the supermarket. Stater Bros. in fact. Don't have those there, I'm affraid.

Hot lemonade and honey, two paracetamol and a cup of coffee, this bloody cold still won't go away...

Try hot Mountain Dew. Not for the cold, just because its tasty. You'll get fizz in your face if you don't wait a moment after taking it out of the microwave.

This, quite possibly, is the worst sounding beverage idea I've heard in a while. Mt. Dew is already obnoxious on its own, and now you want us to try it hot?

Madness.

Just try it. If you don't like it, put ice in it. Like somebody who whines about the taste of onion even though they've never had one.

Not quite. I have had Mt. Dew, and I've had it at various temperatures as the result of being lazy and situation. It is, by far, one of the most artificial, syrupy, disgustingly sweet beverages known to man. The soda worse than Mt. Dew is Baja Blast Mt. Dew.

Fact.

Roasted a whole 2Kg turbot in caramelised lemons and vermouth last night, then shared it between five of us. Marvellous! :D

Code Red FTW.

I poured a delicious, fresh brewed cup of coffee for myself this morning. Snapped the lid on and took a sip. Then left it on the kitchen counter when I left for work. :ouch:

So I bought a Mt. Dew instead. Not the same. :guilty:

Early dinner again. After last night, all I had was a big bowl of spring salad. 70 calorie dinner after the 1,700 calorie dinner yesterday.

Thin beef steak with Kellog's Cereal as the breading, fresh refried beans [not from cans - I hate the canned kind, taste horrible], and rice.
