Piraat Beer and custom Pizza Hut. Happy. :D

Since your profile says you're from Canada, have you had the Poutine pizza from Pizza Hut?

Thin beef steak with Kellog's Cereal as the breading, fresh refried beans [not from cans - I hate the canned kind, taste horrible], and rice.

I've made fresh refried beans and the canned stuff. The canned stuff suits me just fine. I add spices to it and chili con carne, though.

However, I understand your Hispanic grandma makes great Mexican food. So, if you have any recipes for her refried beans, post it here. I'd like to give her recipe a try. I haven't found one that I like that's better than the canned stuff.

Had some of this.

I think I'll spit it out now and go have a Lowenbrau. Gad, I do have a terrible accent when it comes to speaking German.

We've still got no power after 4 hours. Pulled the best brats I've ever made off the grill just as the storm rolled in. Got in the house and BLACK, no lights.

I popped home for lunch today and Mrs. Shem had cooked up some rice and fried pork. Sure beats McDonald's any day of the week!

I don't even like grapefruit all that much, but consider this heatwave, and the associated humidity, these are so right right now. And at 2.5%, you can pretty much drink as many as you like!

Takeaway curry last night. Hmm, Lamb Madras. And the restaurant gave me a free pint of Cobra while I waited. 👍

Dinner was up to Little Booger. Velveeta Skillet Nacho Supreme.

That looks like some tasty vomit. :sly: I always make Velveeta type things and they usually look like that.. actually most skillet meals turn out like that.

Just had a huge salad and a hotdog. I'm full for the rest of the day. 👍

I just made a bread and butter pudding, and it was delish!

EDIT: just to be clear, I actually made this, no nuking going on here!

I always say, "Do we eat or did we eat it?"

Velveeta Skillet Dinners are nasty. But, it's what Big Booger and Little Booger wanted.

Just had some fried Oreos from the fair down the street. Ungodly unhealthy but so damn tasty.

And a piece of funnel cake because why not.

White fish tagine last night with a carrot and clementine salad, minted cous cous and harissa swirled yoghurt.

Took a long nap after dinner again and now can't sleep. Same with the Booger Machines. It's 2:30AM and we're all up and hungry. Made smoked ham sandwiches on whole wheat bread with mustard and we all pigged out.

Locally made ginger peach tea sorbet, and this batch is a touch sweeter than the last one. Not sure if I like it more or less this way, but still so good.

Sounds like an M&S special....

Pleeease girlfriend! Ready made meals are soooooo 1990s. ;)

No, all made by me, including the chicken tray bake with sage, tomatoes and butter beans I made last night.

Brunch was 6 oz. of mixed nuts and a PBJ sadwich. Dinner will be a large salad. Haven't had it yet. It was just too damn hot to eat.

EDIT: Just had that salad and a peanut sandwich for dessert.

Couldn't even wait to take the picture, what a pig!

Speaking of being a pig, I had fried chicken, potato salad and butter herb pasta. Dark chocolate for dessert.
