Last night I grilled some Cajun seasoned swai and made a black bean and corn salad.

*shakes fist*

The old people around here get more crotchety everyday.

BTW - what did you think of the silver love pearls? And was that cake Italian? Looks so good I need to go have some cake soon. :D
Food porn. Urgh.

Asparagus with bacon, eggs and cheddar. Finished over a toast, with slices of parmesan cheese.

Excuse the bad presentation. :dopey:

Lovely dish - but methinks you may have been somewhat unfocused in your presentation, yeah. Either that or the smells and steam got to you and you went glaze-eyed with hunger.

First, let me apologize for this horrible picture. It did not look this way when I was taking it. Something weird happened with the exposure.

Round tip steak cut into strips and braised in a mushroom beer sauce and served over spaghetti noodles with Hungarian paprika sprinkled on top.

Tasty, tasty yellow cake.
Pie is better.

12 inch Italian Sub (without mayonnaise), fries and Mountain Dew from Penn Station.
I quit going to Penn Station. I can only eat it on my diet if I get it without bread, and that is when I learned 90% of my money is going toward bread. A 6" sub without bread gave me enough food to fit inside the center of the palm of my hand.

Now, getting a fresh cut without salt.....Yum!

I don't know what I'd do, I'm a regular.

I loved the food before and now it would be a great treat, but I can't pay their prices for so little real food. I can make it at home with four times the meat and veggies for half that price.

That's true but, I can't cook worth a crap and even if I could, I'm too lazy to make them myself.

I went to Which Wich. I filled in the circles for provolone and Cheese Wiz, but I didn't select extra cheese, so I think they left off the Wiz.

It was still good though. The bread at this place is really good.

There's a Which Wich just a few miles up the road, I looks great! I'll try it out!

Ordering can be a bit confusing. You see how my bag is labeled beef, There are about a dozen other bags. Italian, Classic, Pork etc.. I would suggest checking out their website first.

Just brought home a frozen thin crust Italian Sausage pizza and added pepperoni, bacon, peppers and a touch of cheese. It can't cook fast enough.

This stuff is great:

Lots of sodium, but tremendous bang for the buck. Tons of chicken and pasta. It was only like a buck at Big Lots. Could stretch it to ten bowls of soup if you wanted. Great poverty meal.

Better than Maruchan noodles. That stuff is just as salty.

I have one of those places about 1 minute away from me by walk. Their menu was very confusing for me to understand.

Now I'm hungry for a fresh sandwich..

Mom bought a bunch of these:

Epic nostalgia. She used to get them when she was a little kid, and they'd break it off with a hammer. Can't believe they ever stopped making them. We shared a banana one. Freaking delicious.

I'm on my own for lunch today, so I heated up some leftover steak and added in a huge pickle.
