Homemade Polish Pierogi. Filled with potato and cheddar cheese inside. Turned out to be pretty tasty!

Last night's dinner was a campechano burrito. (mix of carne asada and al pastor)

It was pretty big (about a foot long) so I still have half for lunch today.

My wife picked this up for me today. I prefer the 120 min IPA over this 60min IPA. But, it's still a top notch beer.
Appearance: pours a light straw color with minamal head. Lacing is very light. Almost none.
Smell: grapefruit initially fading to an almost rubbing alcohol ending. Odd considering the beer is only 6%
Taste: tastes like I just kissed the Cascade Mountains. Sweet spruce flavors with a hint of a citrus, orange on my palate.
Overall: this is a great beer. It really is. But, IMO, there are better IPAs, at better price points to spend your money on.

I munched 2 cheese burgers that I made myself. I might go in for some chocolate gateau for afters.

As of now, I'm devouring a selection of kiwi's.

Typically I would have sliced them into pieces, such method has been the norm in our house since I was born.

However, I recently realized you can simply eat them with the skin on, so I just put the whole thing in my mouth.

There is a mild tang in the skin, the same can't be said for orange peels.

Orange peel exists only to be used in Manhattans.

And orange chicken which is a frequent for myself.

I had a @Northstar ice cream drumstick for dinner. Wasn't too hungry after eating pulled pork sandwiches for lunch

Today's lunch: Brazilian pastel (thin empanada dough filled with ground beef, ham, cheese, tomatoes, olives, and an egg deep fried to perfection). It's 🤬 delicious!

Rogue Brutal IPA
Appearance: Pours a rich copper color with 1-2 inches of off white, almost tan, dense foam that lingers for several minutes. Leaves minimal lacing.
Aroma: A lot to smell here. Starts with an almost biscuits and light caramel smell leading to passion fruit/mango ending.
Taste: lemon, fresh bread and maybe a light peppercorn. Quite an odd sensation. Clean and fruity.
Overall: 3.1 out of 5. Not crazy hopped but nicely balanced with the malts.
Rogue Nation!
