I thought it was some kind of sauce and wanted to ask you how you did it.
Funny you should mention that as I was just looking up how to make 'karaage', which I bought from my local shop a few nights ago... but it looks like fun to make, and it goes fantastically well in a tortilla wrap with Mexican food like green salsa.

My mate took me to a place in Kyoto for fried chicken and it was awesome... can't remember the name of the place, KFC I think...*

* Not to be confused with the famous KFC in Scotland, Kilmarnock Fried Chicken.

Tinga taco takeout. Topped with diced avocado, cilantro and lime juice. Accompanied by a really nice mezcal margarita.

I just found a huge bag of Cheese Curls in the guest room I stay in. Never tried them before today but I can definitely say I’m a fan. Perhaps a little over salted but scrumptious all the same.

Any UK members who dig Watsits would live them.

Had the Wotsits Giants Flamin' Hot flavour recently. 👍

Two sausage McMuffins.

Haven't had them in ages, damn they are good!

Now back to not eating AS MUCH fast food.

I had spaghetti and homemade spaghetti sauce for lunch. There was 1 portion of spaghetti left over so I ate it this evening. Problem was that there wasn't any sauce left so I decided to mix the spaghetti with curry ketchup and mayonnaise. It was better than I thought.

How much chocolate are you eating that multiple raisins make up only 1% of the whole?

:sly:
That depends on how much a piece of chocolate and every individual raisin weighs. :D

The 1% is an ingredient but you know that.

I’ve been so good to avoid this junk but now I’m really craving McMuffins. I guess one or two for breakfast at the weekend wouldn’t hurt.

_______________

White chocolate M&Ms are back in stock. I can’t walk past the fridge without grabbing a handful.

For lunch.

  • Homemade tomato soup
  • Peas and carrots
  • Onion sauce.

Half an hour ago: green smoothie mixed with honey, raisins, pine nuts and different fruit powder. Also, 99% pure chocolate again in combination with raisins.

Grabbed a bowl of egg noodles and grilled pork from a little place outside the hotel I’m in. I like the 5 star lifestyle but not the 5 star menu prices.

Ooft, that looks awesome.

Any tips for how to make it??

Just watched how my brother and sister make theirs.

Equal parts of soy sauce, mirin, dashi, sugar, and sake.

Vegetables include carrots, leeks or scallion. Tofu is also a must. Mushrooms would be shiitake and enoki (optional)

Noodles must be glass noodles.

Then meat would be composed of beef shortplate and simmer them.

Once all cooked, add raw egg once you put everything on your own bowl, then mix thoroughly to make it cook.

Side note: Sukiyaki is my favorite Japanese dish. Whenever I go to Japan, I make it a point to eat one during the trip.

Mother-in-law made my favourite curry, Panang. “It’s a little spicy” she tells me. It’s like a bloody nuke went off in my mouth. I love it.
