Alliterative lunch.

Smoked sausage sandwich. Shiner seltzer.

The sandwich was awesome. The beverage...not so much.

Went to the parent's house for dinner last night. Homemade Minorcan clam chowder and sourdough bread. Finished up the leftovers for lunch.

I'm going to make fries with carbonade flamande and lettuce for my father.

Maybe I'll get some as well. I'm a bad, bad Belgian. I don't like beer, I don't like fries, I don't like fries with clams but I do like to make fun of Belgians because they are so stupid and I'm not.

Homemade tomato soup
Broccoli mash with bacon

Right now; 99% pure chocolate with a few raisins. I'm still chewing.

About 6 gallons of coffee this morning.

House blend, Sweet n Low and a tiny little cup thing of French Vanilla creamer.

I thought a gallon was 4.2 litres?

I just cooked up some sliced peppered pork ham stuff to make sandwiches. It was yum.
Large chunk of Dairy Milk the size of a small chunk for afters.

I wanted to make a croque-monsieur but I can't find that croque-monsieur making thing anymore, so I had Kefir instead. :guilty:

I was thinking of a UK gallon, which I’m sure is larger than 3.x litres.
It is. It's 4.546 litres.

I happen to keep that number in my head, because it's useful to monitor fuel economy on the MX-5 as I'm driving away from the petrol station. If you're lazy, you can remember it as 9 litres = 2 gallons less a tiny bit; as the MX-5's tank is 42 litres*, the 0.1 of a litre you skip doesn't make much difference.

(42 is four full nines, and then two thirds of a nine; two lots of 4.666 is 9.333, so 9.3 gallons; it's actually 9.24)

It's 4.546 litres.

For some reason I had 4.2 in my head, so I’m glad that’s cleared up. 4.5 is much easier to convert and makes more sense; I’m getting about 300miles from a 14ltr tank at ~100mpg. Fits nicely.

Edit: Apparently my tank is 17ltrs so it’s not doing as well as I thought. Unless a few pints of that are the reserve tank...which might explain my confusion.

Friend goes to the store. Tells the deli counter he likes thick slices. 1 1/2 pounds please. That’s 1.62 pounds of deli sliced peppered turkey. That’s pretty funny

That absolutely looked like bread.

It does since you said it. I tried half a slab wrap but found everything worked better if I made strips or cubes of it. Wrapped up with a leaf and cheese and peppers of sorts. Little too thick of a cut unless it’s a slab on plate dinner.

This morning I drank lemon water made the Indian (Ayurvedic) way and it was very, very tasteful. Strange that my appetite is gone. I'm still hungry but I don't want to eat, not even my favorite 99% pure chocolate.

I made lemon water, the correct way, added honey to it and it is so delicious that I want to keep drinking it.
