Academically, they learn about double vowels and place values. They’re 6.
What I'm taking to the tomb.
On a meta level, they learn about how to be functional human beings and get prepared for society.
What I'm leaving in the cradle.

Been on a 24 hour road trip. Food so far has been:

Gas Station
  • Biscuits and Gravy. Meh.
  • Meat Lovers breakfast sandwiche. Good, would have been better if the Texas toast was a little more fresh.

McDonald's
  • 2 McDoubles, no pickles or onions.
  • Large Fries

Walmart
  • Deli Popcorn Chicken and Mac n Cheese. Chicken was dry, Mac was decent.
  • Two plums, a peach, and some grapes.

Meat, cheese, fruit, crackers

A cheeseburger. McDonalds has become quite expensive in recent years but their best burger still remains the cheapest on the menu.
When I was young, I always got a cheeseburger with a ginormous drink and large fries at McDonalds.

Meat pizza from Blaze Pizza. It tasted much more cheesy than it looked. But was certainly pretty saucy on some edges. Really enjoyed it though. And was extremely full. Only meal for the day for sure lol.

EDIT: Two dipping cups of ranch were harmed consumed in the eating of this pizza.

Compared to the Walmart store brand (which is my personal benchmark for frozen pizza), where does it rank?
I avoid going to Walmart so I am unfamiliar with their store brand pizza, but this one I got was very good. I mainly got it because it was something different other than the typical pepperoni/sausage/supreme style, and it didn't cost $8-10.

Nothing much in the fridge and I fancied a snack so I grilled a wrap, added a little olive oil, black pepper, chilli and oregano and made what I consider a mighty fine nibble. Almost like a poor man’s pizza.

Food truck tacos mollejas de res (sweetbreads) and fresh tortilla chips with a crazy hot roasted salsa, with Jarritos grapefruit soda that isn't helping at all. I'm sweating buckets.

Local freezer was running low on stock. The only chocolate option was a Wall’s Ovaltine ice confectionary [fake ice cream]. First and last time I eat one of those. Chocolate flavour, my arse.

Last night I had a $140 Pepsi. And the cup was mostly filled with ice. What a rip off.

TB
Spent $100 on two cups of Pepsi today and they remembered not to put ice in them.

I sure was a happy camper for gambling away $100 at the casino with free drinks. 😊

2 massive legs & thighs on the BBQ, several racks of ribs still marinating and an alcohol free beer to sample.
