5kg of Christmas pig ribs. I assume the pigs were wearing Santa hats.

The first was unseasoned for the kids. Next batch was Coke Cola based for the women. But of salt and pepper too.

Final rack was slow smoked on the dying coals for an hour, glazed with 1 year old Carolina Reaper oil I made myself. That’s for anyone suicidal lol.
 
Instead of paying Taco Bell $18 and some change to give me gastronomical distress, I picked up some mats to make my own burritos.

And I tried a slice of Junior's New York Cheesecake. It was decent, which is good, because I have another two-point-something pounds of it left.

edit: Last night, I damn near choked on some pan-fried salmon and rice, when I decided to browse pricing for king crab legs. 🥺

Sometimes all you really need is a couple of hot dogs. This is also a good time to get deals on limited edition seasonal drinks. I enjoyed both of these.

I decided to have another bash at cooking Beef Stroganoff, but this time with beef that should be much nicer.

The first time my black pepper shaker broke and ruined everything, so I needed to buy a new black pepper shaker for this attempt.

And, would you ******** believe it, the damn thing broke again...

At least I have the receipt so will take it back and get a refund, but I won't be buying any more of those from now on.

Fortunately, the beef survived and is currently marinading in the fridge for an hour or so. It should be relatively easy to make, but you never know... this dish seems cursed for some reason.

edit: End result - yeah, no. If this is what passes for Russian cuisine, then it's no wonder they're so ******* miserable.

Some noodles and veggies from Uwajimaya’s hot case, fried oysters, and a couple of root beers. They come from Orca Beverage, a local company that specializes in specialty and retro soda pop.

I finally caved and tried Liquid Death, went with mango as there is no way I'm paying for unflavored water. It is rather good, I think the small amount of sugar (3g per can) really helps it avoid the weird taste I find most sparkling water has.

Made a batch of Ass-o-Fire chili with beans, cheese, and tortillas. My foster fail is glaring at me like she wants to go back to the shelter.
