Foo Fighters and QOTSA tickets are already secured too. It's going to be a great summer for live music! :D

Poco - Indian Summer

And it seems like any time I hear one "Indian Summer" (The Doors, Joe Walsh, Beat Happening...there's a bunch others), I get this one stuck in my head.

Shiva Burlesque - Indian Summer

Great tune.

As shocking as this song was to me when I learned of it, it's one of my latest favorites from my all-time favorite artist! :D Language warning though, something I thought I'd never have to say when mentioning her music.

I put this song behind spoilers because there's a couple of swears.
Count Bass D "Flawless".

Evokes general warm feels for me:
Not only do I really like the song, the video resonates with me as well, as it's footage from the Bronx during the 70s and early 80s.
The reason being is although I was only around 2yrs old at the time (so I can't really remember a thing about it), my parents took us there back in the late 70s, so my mum could visit her biological mother, who she herself hadn't seen since she was born back on the island of St Kitts.
I still have photos somewhere of me and my sister in front of the statue of Liberty, and several photos of the tenement building where my grandmother was living. Both my mother and my grandmother have passed away now, but I'm so glad my mum got to meet her in later life.

Apologies to anyone who was unfortunate enough to be named Gordon and went to school in the late seventies. I'm afraid it's time once again to relive the hell of those playground taunts.

Jilted John - Jilted John
