I am so excited about the Goodwood Hill climb. My main main focus on the GT series since day 1 has been the tuning and testing aspect of the game and running time attacks and short sprints in anything from the VW Bus all the way up to 787b. For gt5 it was TGTT and Autum mini ring(my favorite original track by far) I am saddened by the probable loss of TGTT but they did me right by having Goodwood in there. Now it will actually feel proper driving some of the rarest one of the kind cars in the world because that's what the real event is all about.

*mods if this topic is similar to many others or a double post please feel free to move.

Stangs, Stangs, Stangs…
I'm liking the Mustangs coming to the game. The new tracks are first and foremost actually. But the Stangs and CTSV to go along with my BMW fetish is marvelous.

Actually nothing. Well, FXX, Diablo Race Cars and Bathurst are nice but overall I feel there's not enough stuff I'm really interested to drop money day one. I'll wait to see how this stuff really is:

-career mode
-AI
-customization
-frame rate
-event creator

How good the game will perform in these features will decide if I buy GT6 or not.
I couldn't care less about the lame 15th Anniversary cars, so vanilla game for me, evenutally.

New cars + tracks (obviously) and the new special events.

Edit: Forgot about the course maker... in fact, that probably tops both of my previous choices.

Let's see...

I'm excited that it's being released on a Friday!
Games here in the UK usually are,I'm looking forward to Brands Hatch and Bathurst and the FXX,One-77 and Revanton to name a few things.:) Oh and did someone mention the moon?!

I am most excited that we can finally bring the standards to the photo mode. Also the fact that most of the standards have no restrictions will be nice. Also excited to finally drive on Bathurst. I didn't buy any dlc for GT5 so I missed out on that track. Hopefully the kart track is also in GT6. So I can play on that too.

With respect, it makes me sad to see so many people who think this way. Its not a like some huge life changing decision to buy a game or not, and obviously you love the series enough to be posting in forum dedicated to it. Why all the fear and dread and worry over things we don't know yet. Frankly, I'm not so worried. Not because I think its going to be some giant leap foward, but because I love cars, tracks, and gran Turismo. On that, Im sure the game will deliver. I still love gt1 gt3 gt4 and play gt5. So do I mind spending money to get gt6 day 1 because of some worries of things missing that I want? Hell no. No matter what ill end up getting it anyway, as I am sure you will too.

All those new variable weather/light tracks :)
Oh yes that too for sure.

After the unfinished disaster of GT5, it makes perfect sense for people to be cautious about buying a GT game. I am also on the fence about buying or renting. I will start by renting this first.

I am still very bitter about the standards and they are still in GT6. Luckily most of their restrictions have been removed for GT6. But they are still unfinished cars. In fact there are cars still missing interior views. I am just so glad I can finally bring the standards to the photo travel. We were not able to do that with 80% of the cars in GT5. Now we can bring all of them to photo travel in GT6. :)

*Well the tracks are obviously very exiting, I wasn't expecting 9 locations!
*The car list is decent (the R8 Gordini and the Diablo's were a surprise!), though it's still certainly missing a few big names. I really wanted the Nomad Diablo Premium too.
*The course maker sounds like a good improvement over the last one, which is great as I used it a lot until the courses couldn't be used in Split Screen.
*And finally the physics of course.

The only things putting me off buying it day one is the missing features at launch, the "buy credits" thing that I've always hated In games, and the fact my PS3 died a few months ago so I currently can't play it anyway!

Yeah, but just because you are easily pleased does not account for other people.. does it now?
With all due respect.

The new tracks - Mount Panorama being the one I'm looking forward to the most.

Mostly though just playing the new game, going through the new career mode, experiencing the new handling in a variety of cars, slowly building up a garage full of supercars, painting them my favorite colors etc.

I played GT since original GT on Play Station 1, but I'm not blind:
Assetto Corsa, Project CARS, Forza 5, rFactor 2, R3E, DTM Experience, Game Stockcar 2013.
Why should I just give 60 bucks blindly to PD after GT5 with all these big competitors in the market? Doesn't make any sense to me. As a potential customer I reserve the right to vote with my wallet. You are sure the game will deliver, let me know when they'll really do. ;)

Mainly the new content. Tracks and cars, the new physics and the new night sky. Should bring a whole new feel to GT.

But I'm also interested in how much of a 'quantum leap' their plans for DLC will be. (As silly as that sounds)
