Take out Midfield and it becomes an OK update. Take Midfield and B-Spec then it just becomes another update. But since the two things listed above are planned to come, I'm pretty hyped.

I'm hyped. Wanted B-Spec from the start, as long as it was implemented like it was in GT 4. It looks like they've done that, with some improvements. So I'm happy. Always thought it was a mistake to separate them into two modes in GT5.

I'm... intrigued. I've always liked Midfield (it's an excellent hotlapping track), and it's nice it's getting the full variable-(time/weather) introduction, but it's frustrating for what it isn't: Course Maker. If I'm promised X and given Y, I'm not going to overlook that X is still missing (and this shouldn't be misconstrued as disappointment with Y).

More imaginary cars? Meh. B-Spec, with the career mode in it's current form? Meh. Paintable wings, or two of the previously-released imaginary cars, should not be heralded, since it should simply be standard practice.

Happy to have one of my favourite tracks make an appearance at last on the PS3,but I still want the coursemaker and to be able to paint wheels on standard cars.

You mean painting the wheels that comes with the car when you buy it? Because it's already possible to paint the wheels on standard cars.

You wouldn't be able to unless pd redid all the rims for said 800+ cars, ps2 era textures don't like to be painted very much, especially when they look like they were ripped out of wolfenstein.

Yes,that's what I meant sorry, and fair enough Arixant,it's just my little thing. :)

I guess you'll be able to choose between A-Spec and B-Spec in any race , that being said , maybe , we're not getting new events , hopefully i'm wrong :boggled:

I Hope u wrong

I'm totally hyped simply because of Mid-Field Raceway. I might have driven in previous GT games but couldn't remember it but I did recently play it on GT3 and really liked it. Quite tricky to get right and hopefully it retains bumps especially approaching the end of last sector. Might even upload my shocking driving in GT3, it is second track on Arcade mode on GT3 hence why I got to experience track quite quickly.

Am I excited or hyped? Not really, just asking myself how B-Spec has changed... So, yeah, pretty much waiting without getting hyped.

At this point and time no. As simple as I'm not interested in Gran Turismo 6 overall since I stopped playing a while back.
I just like to try the new updates to see what is new, the looks of the new cars and tracks but that's just all. (then going back to PC, rFactor 2 and where the real racing is)

The next game should have a solid base if they want to keep me playing the game for more time. And that solid base can be as simple as it gets...a great list of cars and tracks, realistic sound engines for once, an online mode based in dedicated servers and not p2p, and a consistent career mode. The rest would be just "addons" and not "reasons" to play the game...which is what these updates for GT6 are.

I've been getting back into GT6 lately so a new track is always welcome, especially one of my old favourites from the GT series.

BSpec i will wait to try it out before judging, was never really a big fan.

I'm amazed it's taken so long after release to add b-spec if I'm honest, since it was in GT5 from the start :/

What would make me really excited is if we had proper endurance races and were able to swap between actual driving and a few bob's along the way, i used that to it's full potential back in GT4 and that is the way it should've stayed!

Can you even paint rims on premium cars without changing them?

I would go as far to say B-Spec is disappointing rather than meh. It took them 15 months to add a feature to a crap career mode where 1 more AI driver races in your place.

I do not think you can, Can't even do that on Forza.
That's what I thought too. So, premiums and standards are the same in this regard.

In either case, I'm not really hyped, but I'm always a bit excited to see what's coming in updates, even just seasonal updates.

No Course Maker no party
No course maker.............................
(*wisper)
Pr...oject..........c.....ars..............gee.............mmmmpphh

So basically track maker will not be in this upcoming update?
Well....... looks like another 8 months for feedback on that then.
BRILLIANT.

I'm excited even though my PS3 died.
Same happened to me :( i can still turn it on and sign in tonpsn but when I put discs in it wont load. I can still play the games that I have on the system soon as the update is out ill be buyimg the game.

not bad about update.. they should bring something new car oh well i rather wait for project cars

I noticed that most users voted positive on the poll but a lot of users posted some negative posts about the yet to be released update.

Sadly i don't have a Powerful PC to Play PC Racing simulator Games and i don't have a wheel to even being with so i couldn't experience the fun of them (i only tired Live For Speed which is over 10 year old Game).
