Bride of the Monster, the 1955 Z movie classic by Ed Wood, riffed by The Mads, Frank Conniff and Trace Beaulieu. I’ve got some chicken strips from the local Safeway, Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue dipping sauce, and a bottle of Mountain Dew Zero “Mystery Flavor.”

I finished watching Cyberpunk: Edgerunners over the weekend and absolutely loved it. I'm not sure I was mentally prepared for the last few episodes though.

Sounds good. Do you need to have played the game to watch it?

No, it can be watched as a standalone show. There are a lot of references to the game world including locations, sound effects, language, tech, transport etc. but those are not vital to understanding the story. It's also set before the game so there's no spoilers.

I've always loved the three BttF movie posters. A brilliant instantly recognizable logo and great details in each poster. I like how they’re looking at pocket watches in the last poster. (They should really be looking at cell phones in the second movie, but they had no idea about them back in the ‘80s.)

Since it’s October, I’ve decided I’m going to try to watch one Halloween-themed movie or TV show each night. Or at least something spooky that’s Halloween-adjacent.

On the 1st I watched Muppets Haunted Mansion. For the 2nd I’m watching Welcome to Monster High.

Yeah, don’t expect any slasher movies from me. Not my thing.

Keeping up with my 31 Days of Halloween viewing, days three and four were the two live action Scooby-Doo movies from 2002 and 2004. They are both surprisingly fun to watch. Looking forward to the new animated movie, too.

My 31 Days of Halloween viewing continues. Days 5 and 6 were back to back Monster High musicals. Boo York, Boo York is from 2015. It has one of my all time favorite villain songs. Monster High: The Movie is brand new, the first live action movie in the series. It was a lot of fun and actually got me a little choked up at the end.

I'm fixing to watch House. I love that hospital drama, cool cast and characters. Wilson is one of them.

My 31 Days of Halloween viewing party continues. Day 7 was the Mel Brooks masterpiece Young Frankenstein, one of the greatest comedies ever. Day 8 is the silent movie classic Nosferatu. An obvious retelling of Bram Stoker’s “Dracula”, Stoker’s widow won a copyright infringement case and all copies of Nosferatu were ordered destroyed. Thankfully for film history, a few copies survived.
