...a new snow shovel so that I could clean the walkway after the snow storm and snow melt..... after all that fun I treated myself to a new paint job for the '62 Ferrari GTO as I am not into red......I chose the metallic gunmetal as it's close to the shade of blue that some of the GTO's were painted... it looks nice.......

Nice, I'm planning to buy the GTO and other classic racing cars, I've got 50 millions to spend (250 GT passo corto included since it was used in official races).
Post some pics of your Ferrari, I didn't know it was paintable!

👍

I like it's epic V8 soundtrack and its handling (impression from GT5).

Er... there's no "GT40" in its name, I suppose.

It's one of the few cars in GT6 where the sound matches the car, and what a noise!

I've fixed that mistake

High End Performance G37, for the seasonal.

I sold it because not liking its looks and handling. Now the seasonal, duh!

Heh did exactly the same thing with the one I won in career and when it came up in the seasonal I was like aww. I kept it now thought, spent longer tuning it and like it more now.

Lesson I learned is never sell any car :) you don't get enough for them anyway

Yes exactly. I was wondering why anyone would sell a car. I have come across a few that I have bought ..but then later decided I did not want. I simply kicked them to that dark, forgotten and mysterious hole called the "Stockyard". I figured if I ever get bored, I would go to the stockyard and maybe play around with the forgotten past ..

I just thought, from the previous GTs, eventually I always got too many cars and a lot of them are not used. Selling some makes my garage 'cleaner'.

As previous mentioned classic racing cars ...(Premium models only, missing the top 3 fastest Mark IV, XJ13 and another P4)
Planning to keep those 0/0, driving them in arcade mode only, I already have a P4 but it's 'used'

Here's the list
SHELBY Cobra Daytona Coupe '64 PP535
FORD GT40 Mark I '66 PP521
ALFA ROMEO Giulia TZ2 Carrozzata da ZAGATO '65 PP486
FERRARI 250 GTO '62 PP474
CHEVROLET Corvette StingRay Racer Concept '59 PP470
FERRARI 250 GT Berlinetta passo corto '61 PP454

HUDSON Mario Andretti's 1948 Hudson PP361
RENAULT R8 Gordini '66 PP344

6 FT-86 Concepts for 3M , because of paint chips it has a beautiful set although it seems like one of the paints is missing in dealer ship because it has II in front of it but you cant find the first version

I just bought an Alfa Romeo 166 2.5 V6 Sportronic `98, Alfa Romeo Spider (916) 3.0i V6 24V `01, and the Alfa-Romeo GTV (916) 3.0i V6 24V `01. These Lovely Alfa`s will be tuned to match the 2.0 V6 TB specs.

Sometimes if I really hate a car and don't want it clogging up my garage (I don't use the stockyard, it's just another thing on the back of my mind) I like to keep things simple and clean. I also sell (very rarely) if I'm tuning a car, need parts and got no credits and really really cba to do a 2-3 minute race.

Saleen S7

Took it to Willow Springs - SS tyres no Driver aids...

Car is good but quirky - doesn't bomb about on rails .

Pit crew get to wear Pink, Black and Gold romper suits and Booties.

Kind of miss my Glitch Race suit from GT5 - would be great to have them in GT6.

Finally, she's mine! The Aston Martin One-77 is finally in my collection. I bought it in the lovely color of Volcano Red. I painted it over in what I prefer most Aston Martins in- British Racing Green. Threw on some aftermarket wheels (KMC KM677) and painted the wheels Yellow Mica Metallic. I am well on my way to making this a race car. I see great potential in making this car better than stock. I'll see what I can do with this baby.

Bought an Alfa Romeo 8C Competzione and tuned her to 550PP.

I named her Francesca.

This made me smile and laugh. :)

OMFG… Stumbled across an absolute gem today, from a random impulse buy: the Amuse Nismo 380RS Super Leggera. Easily overlooked because it's not the most expensive or last in the Amuse list but goodness me it's awesome stock, straight out of the garage...

I agree. This is one awesome car. I've had many laps around Matterhorn Rotter with it and it's brilliant. Amazing balance and handing, plenty of power, you can put it right wherever you want it.

Heh well I sold the thing today, so I'd be interested academically to know the specifics of how to tune and what driving style it takes, but I've given up on actually making the thing behave myself since nothing I did to the setup made any difference and its tendency to deny your attempts to trace a line and then suddenly snap into a spin for no apparent reason... GT6 still has its limitations so I stop driving cars if they risk making me hate them (and therefore the real car that seemed so cool ;) Glad it might just be me so fire away :)

The Deltawing has be driven like a really touchy MR car. You brake early then turn in and power through the turns. Also, the camera you use for your driving position really affects how you perceive the handling of the car. If you use the bumper cam you get a totally different experience than with the roof or cockpit cam. It's a tricky car to drive fast.

Ryk
Cadillac CTS-V

Got a good paint chip... erm... It's very heavy... Did I mention the paint chip.

With a little bit of tuning this car is amazing.

For my own purchases I got the One-77 in Bridgewater Bronze (custom wheels) and the Zonda R. Both are awesome cars. The Zonda R is a monster. I highly recommend it. Did the IntB Nightmasters race at the Ring to test them out. Managed to get to 1st or 2nd by the end of the GP part before entering the Ring proper. Won both on the first outing. Lights could be better on the Zonda but nothing the Ring as well as I do it was not a hindrance.

Me very dumb :dunce:
Nah, the cars you listed were also Matte Black, I just wasn't sure, because they had multiple blacks.

Also bought a Cadillac for the black raven paint on the wheels. Tuned that vette to my best abilities.

Bentley Speed 8 for the 24mins races. Might have been a bad choice... or I or the AI just can't drive...

Either way, I like the colour.

Cleared the Mitsubishi dealership for all of its unique (one chip per paint name) paint chips, cheapest to most costly.

AC 427S/C - In Black with Gold Stripes.

Pit crew come in Royal Blue and Sky Blue romper suits. The car is heavier than the Shelby "Race" version (2885lbs) but feels a bit more unstable in corners - but doesn't rub up against the rev limiter in top gear (Probably as I was not hooked up through corners so didn't get the full potential. It is however 2 seconds a lap slower at Willow Springs than the Shelby lightweight. (If you try for a re-spray you do get a shadow of the old stripes on the base of your new paint chip... subtle - So If you want to have a plain re-spray don't buy the car with stripes on it in the first place.

Also bought a New LCC Rocket for the Seasonal at Suzuka. Gears are too short. (PD what are you thinking!) - Re painted the car in Nero Nemesis and my Rocket sprouted scissor doors! And the Stereo had Matt Munro on it. Ah, On days like these...
