What did you do in FM23 today?

I decided to spend much of the day finishing the Open Class Tour, since I'd only been through D. I think I had the most fun with the Matra in S Class. It was a car I had mostly forgotten about, but I enjoyed the sound, plus it wasn't too hard to get back under control when it would get "squirrelly", which happens with cars of that vintage. Great fun.

Took the '91 Holden VN that I used for the first race in the Aussie series back down to stock. I had it to C class by the end of that challenge. But back down to it's original D level then got it as close to D400 as I could in preparation for the next D open series. Ran it at Road Atlanta for a test race. It's a really nice car. Handles well and has a great exhaust sound even in stock form.

Took a bit of a break from FM over Christmas, but had a crack yesterday, finishing the Australian Sport Sedans (+go kart modded Trans Ams) series. Felt miles off the pace at Grand Oak, which is not a track I really enjoy anyway, but put on my big boy pants and won the next three races. Felt a bit weird having Bathurst as the penultimate round of the series, surely it should have been the Finale? Regardless, I still really like the VN Group A - it's sweetly balanced and adjustable, and really seemed to haul away from the competition on the longer straights at Bathurst. And wow Maple Valley is looking pretty with all the graphical tweaks they've had over the last year or so!

On to the Australian Classics tour and oh joy - Eagle Rock. Still hate this stupid, ugly little nothing of a track, but at least I'd had the good sense to strip the weight out of my XB Falcon Couple and put a sports differential in it, so I could grit my teeth and powerslide it around both ends of the oval at 150km/h. Had to bash my way past the HQ Monaro at the front and then basically defend hard through the "fun" chicane bit, then hoon off into the distance lap after lap.

Eagle Rock - at least it has a nice skybox as the evening light comes in I suppose.

Wow this has become one of my favorite cars (guess which). Upgraded at A-class it rides VIR bumps and curbs like it's a Sunday stroll through the country club! And it's now the newest member of my level 50 club.

Finished the Australian classics series in my Falcon Coupe - had a good little battle with a HQ Monaro at Bathurst where I clearly had the speed on it down the straights but it was fairly quick down the hill. And again at Laguna Seca where I finally got the sort of balance I wanted, being able to tip into corners with a bit of mild oversteer to get the nose into the Apex, then powering out of the exit just enough to straighten the car up. Was especially useful turning into the second last downhill corner and the first of the uphill left-handers.

Now which yobbo mobile to choose for the Ute series?

I went with the Ford.

Finished last month's Open Class tour.
You cut that a bit fine! I normally focus on Open Tour first and just do the minimum on the Featured Tour to unlock the 10k/25k bonuses, then come back to the Featured Tour after completing the Open Tour.

Unfortunately, the game is never to going to change from being Chores-a Motorsport :(

Hey legends.

First post, new user etc. I've been trying to get my tuning as best as it can be whilst tackling the builders cup. Surprisingly I've found the Porsche 968 and the Ford Mustang SVO my favourite of my tunes for this series - when I get a chance, and if you guys are keen - I'd like to share what I've done and would be heaps happy for some feedback.
I know very little about tuning so I use the ForzaTune Pro app. There is a free version, the paid version gives you track specific tunes.

Did the Featured and VIP Rival events last night - that M5 handles nicely for a stock vehicle.

Did the D Class Open Series and got my Ginetta Junior to level 50 (and the achievement for getting 30 cards to Level 50). Was on Level 5 difficulty, started in position 7, 8 & 9 on the grid and won easily in each race.

Did the first race in the C Class Open Series using the 1995 Ford SVT Cobra R, won easily again starting from 10th. Handles exceptionally well for an American car.

Nice to see the practice laps for each race has returned to two laps, one wasn't enough.

It's going to be impossible to collect all the suits, this month has the 15,000 Drift points one which is literally impossible for me. Previously they had the suit linked to being top 50% in a Rivals event which was also impossible for me.
I forgot all about the Elemental one but mustn't get too
bothered about it, the FOMO in this game just goes up and up and up and...

Today I've done the D(aily driver) and C(hevrolet) Open series and the first race in the Featured Tour to get the Weekly Reward cash for level 5. Big news on the other thread about something that has been finally fixed!!!

I used to want all of the driver suits, but gave up after failing to earn the gold/black Mobil1 suit. Then now there's drifting, and I'm probably like you.

Finished the last two races of the C Class Open series with my 1995 Ford SVT Cobra R - quite a nice car, handles well when it's full spec and tuned. Won each race very easily on level 5 starting on the grid in 11th and 12th - won by 10-15 secs.
Did the first race of the B Class open series with the 2011 BMW 1 Series M Coupe - full spec and was passing cars at will. Started 13th and once again won easily. Maybe the difficulty level has dropped with the latest update.

Started the game today 😎

Just taken the plunge as I'm off work for a few days later in the week, got game pass ultimate for my TV as don't have an xbox.

Runs surprisingly well on there streaming to the tv for a bit of fun doing career mode. Loving being able to drive Kylami 😍

Not sure I'll be able to do much in multiplayer via the cloud streaming though

Just did class D of the open tour in the Clio V6, and what a fantastic little car that is, despite it having the aerodynamic properties of a cinder block. Just endless grip, great brakes and a really nimble feel.

Now for class C, and whether I can resist the temptation of the 850CSi - surely that has to be the laziest V12 in the game by miles...

Yesterday I continued the open series and tuned a Ford Escort RS1600 to the top of C-class. It handled like a go-cart, with a weight of only 750 kgs and was a lot of fun to drive!
