Pics, pics and more pics. The PS5 is cliché next level.

Finished book 39 on my alt account. It was cool to see all the update content pop up at once. This is my no grind, don't buy cars unless forced to profile. I usually don't even log in more than once a week.

Tried to do the Neo-Classical Competition race at Willow Springs with my detuned MP4/4. I had the pace, but my dumb ass ran wide on the final lap on the final ****ing corner and entered the sand realm. Immediately rage quit.

I need to get good at racing around Big Willow. I hate this goddamn circuit so much.

On a more positive note, I bought the blue R5 Turbo and blue 308 GTB now that they fixed the color glitch. Happy they finally got that sorted out.

On the Plus account, I found the 2013 Viper works just as well at Tokyo as ever, and that the 4-star Wheel of Despair went back to its usual lowest-possible 10,000 Cr. I did have enough to get the (2018) Audi e-tron VGT.

On the GTP account, after buying another Camaro ZL1 and RM tires for this week's WRS time trial, I decided to see if the freshly under 600 PP 2006 Ford Gt would work at Tokyo. If, at full stock and on FM1, laps under 2:12 once the track was dry, 208 mph at the end of the front straight, 9 laps of fuel, and a winning time of 27:21 in my hands doesn't convince you, nothing will.

The 4-star Wheel of Despair gave me something just a little worse than the usual lowest-possible 10,000 Cr. - a full-custom ECU for the 2014 Jaguar F-type R.

I did several Sunday Cups at Barcelona. 37,5k for 2:30 of racing is a good deal for testing out my fleet after the update. The Porsches are much more drivable. Love that.

I also spend 1,5 hours in Rallycross. I like it. Nice change of pace and a good workout with a wheel.

Then another LeMans run with a Group 3 car. I could manage around 4 laps with RHs. Without rain 5 laps are doable to. Finished the race in 1st with 30:02 and that is always satisfying. No need of another lap.

Another hour passed with re adjusting cars to their PP-Limits.

Now I am still 5 million short towards the MP4…

Put a severe dent in the wallet buying the old Mercedes S Class..... 13 million.... 😩
Took it in the Sunday Cup race at Brand's Hatch, won..... yay!

Then spent the rest of my GT7 time making liveries for it and going on Scapes - very photogenic car! Old Beauty.

Oh - 5 star ticket gave me a carbon prop-shaft for a car I don't own.....

Today I make 3 tunes : Abarth 500 '09 at 450PP (CS), Alfa Romeo MiTo '09 at 500PP (SH), Mini Cooper S '05 at 500PP (SH) and maybe Polo GTI '14 at 500PP (SH), if I have a time to finish it.

Good drive and enjoy

After having to change brake pads on my dad's truck the old fashioned way, something in me decided to just go ahead and spend the money and buy sports pads and sports brake disc upgrades for all the cars that accept it. So we're talking about roughly 600k credits spent and about 5 hours of time going through all 280 or so cars that I have that take the upgrades, most of that time was probably spent hoping between menus. I could complain about how sluggish the menus are, but I feel that's an argument overdone by now. Anyway, my hope is that all the cars with the upgrades will see noticeable improvements in stopping power and will offer more enjoyment during track days.

Well, that's my plan for tonight scuppered.

I was hoping to gather enough Cr. to buy 2 more GT-Rs from the LCD before it disappears again, howeverr 5.4 million Cr. is a tall order at the best of times, but there will be no GT7 for me tonight as I started to feel dizzy at work, and now that I'm home I'm still not feeling great.

I had a quick look at the new Rally Cross circuit and instantly decided that this was a bad idea... it looks like fun though, but I will come back to it when I am less likely to spew.

Decided to improve at Big Willow, but I still managed to find myself in the sand too many times. I am pushing too hard when I really should be taking it easy at first. To learn a track properly, I need to start out at a leisurely pace, then increase as I go. I did manage to get a sub-minute lap in with the MP4/4 though, despite my struggles.

I also punted some AI off at the Le Mans WTC700 with an 86 Gr.4 car. Very fun times taking my frustrations in the game and life in general out on the dumb AI drivers.

Today was likely my last day playing GT7 for the foreseeable future. It isn’t because I hate the game or anything, but rather unforeseen circumstances that have come our way. I won’t go into detail, as I suck at explaining stuff like this, but I will say that it could have a very negative impact on me and my family’s lives.

I guess this is, in a way, a blessing in disguise as far as GT7 is concerned. GT7 is in, to put it nicely, a state. The online lobbies are still broken. The ability to sell cars promised ages ago is still not present. The performance points system is still bugged. I might as well take a break from this game for a while and get through the difficult times that await me. I have no clue how long this could last. Maybe a week, maybe a month, maybe longer.

Haa a good session today, did some grinding to get around 1million in the Last GT championship races that ends on the Nurburgring 24h race.

Then I chugged onto to do some Circuit Expriences and tried the Tthe first okyos ones but they are tricky so they need more time. Moreover then I looked back in the Americas tracks and saw DAYTONA and tackled it and got the first 3 GOLD in the sectors and noticed how skittish the FORD GT racecar was on track.

I feel PD have tuned the car in this test to be purposefully oversteery under braking and it feels as though I has no downforce watsoever under braking. But I persevered and got the GOLD to net a cool 800,000CR and was a happy guy. :D

Got a 5 star roulette and won a VIPER '06 model which I already have, so bollox, come on PD lets us sell cars, I dont neeed two of everything all the time do I now, unless its a facelifted car of similar origin!

Get better soon, @Touring Mars.

On the GTP account, I dragged my original Gr.4 killer (a Focus RS which I don't remember where I got the tune) out for a semi-wet Sarthe run. It started raining near the end of lap 2, and I was the only one to take intermediates (on that lap; replaced with the RH's on lap 5). It was a bit faster, but thirstier than before; I could easily do 4 laps on fuel with a fast dry lap around 4:22-4:23, but I would have had to save fuel to go 4 laps while forgoing a chance to do a 4:21 lap. Still, a win is a win, while the cash-less 5-star Wheel of Despair gave me another Bore Up S for the Peugeot RCZ GT Line.

On the Plus account, I took the Cayman Clubsport to Sarthe for an essentially-dry race, and it is both faster (laps in the 4:19 range) and far harder on tires (RH's last only 5 laps) than before. The good news is I planned on making my second stop on lap 5. The bad is I forgot it was lap 5 instead of lap 6, and put in only 1.4 laps' worth of fuel in. Fortunately, I caught it right away and went into fuel saving mode...until McEwen almost caught me between Mulsanne and Indianapolis. I had enough to turn the wick back up, and for some reason, McEwen gave up, so it was still an easy win.

I noticed the AI drivers on RH tires took a second set of RH tires and those that ran RS tires really struggled to get through 3-lap stints, things they didn't do pre-1.20. It looks like the tire wear changes affect them too.

The all-car 4-star Wheel of Despair gave me another 2019 Audi R8 LMS Evo. While the value of the car would say that is not a Wheel of Despair, the facts that I already have one (won one, actually) and we can't sell cars is despairing.

I did get the (2018) Audi VGT, and got the BMW/Nurburgring and 100 photos photo trophies.

Yesterday, I had entered a race of the Toyota Gazoo Racing GT Cup season. It was my only win there and it coincided with the 85th birthday of Toyota. Today, I entered two daily races, winning one of them.

I was 1 month without race in GT7, and to get back my rhythm, I decided to do "The Human Comedy". I never went to it. It was really fun to do Trial Mountain with BAC Mono. And I think I made a good result. My idea was do only 1 stop, started with softs, pit stop at lap 11, went for mediums and saving fuel. But in the end, 8 minutes do finish the race, my rhythm was terrible, so I decided to do a splash n go, went again to softs, and end the race. And in last lap I lifted the throttle to burn some time and finish as close as possible to 1 hour race. Looking foward to do the other missions

Decided to see how fast I could go driving backwards... turns out it's well over 400km/h :scared:

I suspect the Delorean could go even faster than that but I don't have the engine for it... still managed over 300km/h with only 350bhp!

"You can do 300 MPH in reverse!"

Anyway I did the WTC600 race on Tokyo Expressway South Outer in my Porsche 911 GT3 996, then I did the WTC800 race on Sardegna - once in the CLK-LM and once in the 962. Easy money.

checked out the update with physics on controller definitely harder to come close let alone beat my previous time but you can be consistent. Did some drifting in the mustang Gr4.

A daily workout and big payout race at Tokyo , 10,000cr for 4 star ticket, decided too put my wheel too rest and played with the gamepad doing arcade races, had good fun chucking my cars around and still keeping control :)

I had some time to kill before my hiatus from GT7 and my move-in to my grandparents’ house to wade out the fallout from the eviction and help out the grandparents.

Spent it well, doing some time trials at my favorite circuit, Spa-Francorchamps, with some of my favorite cars: the Pennzoil Skyline, the F1 GTR Longtail, and Porsche 919 Hybrid. I managed a 2:14 for the Skyline, a 2:08(?) in the F1, and a 1:55 in the Porsche (you really need a full hybrid battery before you reach the final chicane in order to go HAM in the Porsche).

I am stuck with my PS3 when I move out, as the PS4 I use for GT7 belongs to my brother. Not that GT5 and GT6 were worse than the current GT7 (apart from sounds and graphics). I love those games a lot and plan to continue my collection in GT6. The good ol’ Red Bull X2014 grind awaits.

I came 2nd at the Spa WTC 800 24h race, but I'm annoyed at the AI...

It rained heavily so I switched to IMs, and was racing for the lead - and stayed on inters until the racing line was bone dry.

I pitted for RH and the AI stayed out, but then the AI pitted the lap after and I was comfortably in the lead... no rain on the radar, bone dry racing line and building a decent lead.

Then a band of rain appeared on the radar, but it was not raining as I approached the pit. As it started to rain, I figured that I'd just tip-toe my way around, as I could already see it was a pretty thin band of rain (about 1" wide on the radar), and that the AI would be in the same boat... wrong.

For some inexplicable reason, the AI (who pitted a lap after me after the track had dried out) opted for IMs and not RH, even though there was no rain on the radar and the track was dry... totally bizarre. But, when the second band of rain appeared, the AI caught and passed me easily and from being 11s infront, I fell over 75s behind...

I managed to claw a lot of it back but still ended up losing the race by 27s...

The only way I could have won would have been to switch to IMs after it started raining, even though I could see it would stop raining on my out lap. What seemed odd was just how fast and far the AI could go on a dry track on IM tyres and having the benefit of making an inexplicably 'wise' choice to stay on IMs even though it was dry and there was no indication of any more rain at the time.

Thanks to that I'm 600,000 Cr. lighter than I wanted to be this evening, and that elusive 3rd Skyline GT-R is likely to require another two nights of gameplay to reach...

It was Sardegna Day. On the GTP account, I found out the hard way the Subaru BRZ GT300 is no longer viable on normal difficulty in stock form. It took 2 sets of RM tires and a 1-stop strategy (FM6 for 8 laps, FM4 for the last 7) to eke out a win, and the low-showing 30,000 Cr. on the 4-star Wheel of Despair.

On the Plus account, the Aston Martin DBR9 is still quite viable, though one has to change tires at least once on a 6-5-4 lap strategy (I changed them both times just to be safe, though I think it will go 9 laps on RH). The 4-star Wheel of Despair didn't give me the smallest-possible 10,000 Cr.; it gave me something far more useless at this point - a Citroen invite. That left me short of the next 1,000,000 Brand Central car.

Drove my tuned Porsche 911 GT3 996 around Bathurst, bought the Ferrari 458 GT3 and drove it on Nurburgring GP, then did the WTC600 race on Tokyo Expressway East 3 times. Once in the Murcielago, once in the 911 GT3 996 and once in my tuned C4 Corvette.
