- I bought an Alfa Giulia GTAm and completed the Clubman event at Nurburgring.

- Also bought a BMW e30 '89, a Honda NSX 17 and its '02 counterpart to complete Honda's extra menu.

- Didn't bother opening the 6 stars ticket from it, neithet the 3 stars one from daily Marathon.

I did LeMans with the 787b then I did Sardgena with the 962. Then I got 10k from the roulette. I may try to grind some more to get the merc from LCD.

Just finished Road Atlanta Gr. 1 30 minutes with the 962C. After some tries, I finally felt able to make it. RM and 2-pit strategy. Always on FM6. On the last lap of each stint, I always had to short shift and coast a bit but managed to make with only one small mistake that I barely managed to hold the car. Finished 13 seconds above the first place.

Fun, but very unforgiving track. You can't do a mistake

I got a three star ticket for daily, and when I received it there were 4 cars and 5,000 coins in the spin.

Guess which one I got?

Gonna grind with the CLK-GTR. Even just using ballast and power reductions to get it to 800, it's still 30 seconds or so faster overall for Sardegna. Time to check out some tunes and see if I can get that down even more. What a car.

I bought the CLK today. Lovely machine. Did a tour of European CEs on my backup account to earn the 6-odd million. Now hopefully PD will soon hold a Gr2 race in Sport.

It's next week, but thanks anyway :)

Now I can have one stock and put the Rampage engine in the other.

On the GTP account, I tried to hustle a Big Cat (Jaguar F-type Gr.4) around Dragon Tail Seaside for the old WRS time trial. For some reason, the Porsche invite 4-star Wheel of Despair didn't disappear from yesterday, so I took it again, as well as a low-showing 30,000 Cr. from today's 4-star Wheel of Despair. For the grind, I took said Cat to Sarthe.

On the Plus account, I used the NSX Gr.4 in a surprisingly-close win over Haywood at Sarthe. The odder thing is, the Power Three finished 5th (Plazsan), 6th (McEwen) and 10th (Portilla). The all-cash 3-star Wheel of Despair spat out the low-showing 10,000 Cr.

Swore at the time machine for a while, then got a couple more gold sections in CE's and bought the 917k. I'm sure it was a fine car back in the day. Suffice it to say if I owned one IRL there is no way I'd drive it on a track.

- I bought a Ferrari Daytona from the LCD

- Completed the World Touring Car 800 at Daytona using a Lancer Evo Gr3. That think is a heavy drinker, It consumes fuel like there's no tomorrow.

- Didn't bother opening a 4 stars ticket the game gave to me.

Re-discovered the Sauber C9 for Spa 1h, and showed the "AI" cars why I'm the boss winning by 3 laps ahead.

Also, Race In Peace Ken Block, you will not be forgotten. :(

Completed a credit run, now at cr 2,053,147. Had a quick question. Can Gran turismo 7 PS5 and PS4 players play online together in a social or competitive environment?

looking for 2023 Game of the Year

This is Gran Turismo 7

Bought the Alfa 8C at Legends , played around with a muck around account just for something to do and see if I was setting times on the licences better than my main and 1 other muck around account and mostly was, definately improved as a driver imo even at 54, Sport mode TT's have taught me alot on getting best exits out a corner though plenty room for Improvement :)

Bought the 917k a couple days ago and now I wanted to grind 6 millions for the CLK GTR....and I can't do it anymore.

GT7 is a LOT of things. Its impressive, beautiful, its demanding....but you know what it isn't? Fun. I cannot remember the last time I had FUN playing this game.

I had to grind LeMans 700PP and 800PP for the 917K Porsche and I cannot tell you how many times the stupid AI spun, pushed and crashed into me. Every time I overtake a car and go into the next turn it feels like somebody has a gun pointed at my back. I just grit my teeth and hope the car does not ram or spin me. Often my hope is in vain.

Then, rain sets in and because of the idiotic x6 time speed the track becomes utterly undriveable at an instant. I slow down, AI plows right into me and pushes me off-track, I cannot get the car going even with absolutely feathering the gas pedal because I spin like a damaged spaceship. I spin in circles standing and getting hit again by AI - and it takes me 2 minutes to get the car going and get it into the pits.

And last but not least I'm severely discouraged to use any cars I tuned into race cars because they have such comically bad fuel mileage it is just not fun to use any of them in the bigger events. If they are fast enough so I can use them I have to pit so much its like the car has a hole in the fuel tank and the pit crew cannot patch it. Its just a parodiy.

Oh and don't even get me started on tire camber because that does not work either. Lots of racecars run up to 4 degrees camber but in GT7 any camber above 0.5-0.8 reduces grip no matter the suspension setup.

Gran Turismo 7...nothing kind of really works in that game. I have to take a really long pause from that game, that's for sure.

Started with Sarthe in an old engine swapped bimmer for an easy win. The the Spa 1h with a ford mk race car, which was the first time since the weather bug i did the spa race. After i did Sardegna with a clk mercedes, and to finish the long races off i did the gr1 road atlanta race. Figured that was enough, but no. Found out i still had to do tokyo circuit experiences. So i golded 3 of them for a bit of easy cash. Bought the old Nissan at hagertys to finish the gtr menu, then the bimmer m2 to get the bimmer menu done. Engine tickets were not worth it, daily gave me carbon brakes..

Hey, I am taking a small break from gt7 but I will resume playing in the next day or two. Played a few daily B races the other day. And did a few WTC 700 races, did a custom race at Willow springs with the Corvette C7 car. Won 2nd with the professional level.

Tested the Diablo '00 at Le Mans, fairly doable but was doing some mistakes. The brakes of that beast are not that kind.

With the PS5, the scapes is also a work of beauty. Starting to take some nice photos finally, I want to take the 2023 to improve that.

Enjoying Daily Race A with the Mazda.

I'm only racing for the participation trophy but it's fun to race without pressure. It was so frustrating in GTS when you needed a certain number of wins. Kept having to tank my rating to get easier races. Which goes completely against the pleasure of racing against real people and better competition.

On the Plus account, I dominated Sardegna with the Citroen GT Gr.3 after remembering I needed to save some fuel to make it 5 laps. The 4-star Wheel of Despair was its usual lowest-possible 10,000 Cr. self.

On the GTP account, I used the BRZ GT300 for a much closer win, not helped by a bit of a crash. The Parts roulette gave up a Bore S for the 2019 Supra.

Tuned the C4 ZR1 and the C6 ZR1. Both are rockets fully tuned. You can get the C6 to push 1000 hp. Ran LeMans once and the wheel spit out 10k.

Today was a good day.. after being annoyed that I couldn't crack 9:33 @ TM/HCP, I finally did it with a 9:22, but thx. to a couple minor wall scuffs, which I really don't understand, no clean race bonus.. smh.. regardless, the Enzo is just plain sick.. I mean really, 100K for 9.5mins of work.. yeah, I dig it..

..taking it to the field like this..

.. & ending up like this..

- I completed the World Touring Car 800 at Watkins Glen using a Lancer Evo Gr3. That almost get me 100% completion of the events on the America circuits. I still need a car to complete the NeoClassical and Gr1 menus.

- On the market side of things, I bought a red Fiat 500 and a Lancia Delta '91. I'm thinking about selling my Jag xj13 in order to make use of some buying invitations I have.

- the wheel today gave me some parts, the ticket from yesteday also gave me tuning parts. I had an engine ticket from completing an extra menu. This one gave me an Audi Quattro engine, which I'm gonna fit into my golf mk1.

Just realized the Hypercar Parade events are nowhere to be found on my game...

Am I missing something?

The requirements are that you made it through Menu Book 39, watched the end movie, reached Collector Level 35, and then accepted Menu Book 44 in the cafe.

Last night I did the usual Sardegna and Le Mans grinds, got my ~1.5M credits, got 5k credits for the roulette ticket, bought the Lambo from the invitation, finally got gold in the 1 lap attack at Watkins Glen, got another 1M credits from that, played Sport mode at Watkins Glen a few times.

Saving up for the Merc in the LCD before it goes away next week. So more grinding tonight at Sargedna and Le Mans. I would love to add Tokyo to the daily routine and I have the car to do it (detuned Celica GT-4 rally car (no need to pit)), but the stupid AI runs in to the back of me as other AI parks it through the hairpin. Not worth doing without a clean race bonus if you ask me. PD needs to fix that.
