What did you do in GT7 today?

I bought the 787B and drove it around Le Mans. After that I put the LT5 Corvette engine into my Kouki Silvia S14 and took it to Deep Forest. Then I tuned my 350Z and drove it around Laguna Seca, which was rather thrilling. The sound with a racing exhaust and a supercharger is insane.

Straight GTWS. I got a

for my 3* ticket.

Oh, and discovered "Offset" view in the cockpit. Boy did that help! Now I can see the rear view screen. Because the mirrors are hidden.

Had to abort Le Mans WTC because the toddler woke up in the middle of things. Got the daily ticket tho and it was a 6* but I didn't open it. Been looking at the 787B but I so rarely drive Gr.1 cars. Maybe I'll pull the trigger after opening that 6* tonight?

Seeing as it is 45 past midnight where I'm sitting it's a new day, right? 😆

I stayed up like a fool to upload today's dynamic replays GTWS to YouTube. Do not worry, all the screen names are up to protect the innocent. 🧐scribed.

Now I just spent 5 hours with my new pet snake. A '99 Dodge Viper build. Tune posted and will be updated in the next few minutes.

I expended my supply of anti venom 🤪 and and still 😵 But, she's a true Viper racecar. Video of my best try is going up tomorrow. After being up posting that GTWS video, I need sleep tonight.

So I did a whole lot more grinding today since it was my day off and
I now have 4 of every Group C car except the Sauber C9 and I have 2 of those already so just 2 more cars and I have a full grid of 20 with unique liveries. After that it’s back to buying out Brand Central. I have every car from Japan and the United States (except the Roadster) and I’m working on Germany next although I still need some 30 German cars. Got a 4-star ticket worth 30k.

I’ve recalibrated my pedals after watching this video:

I feel changing my G923 Truebrake pedal to 82% that was previously set to 100% could be the Eureka moment for me

Logged on since end of March hoping to buy my favourite car, the Porsche 959. Sadly couldn't find it anywhere, I guess I have to wait for the legendary car dealership to refresh.
The Legends cars added in updates have generally been reappearing for purchase after about a month, so there's a chance the 959 will be available from the beginning of May.

I ran 8 or so laps of the Radical TT with a best lap of 1.41.691 on controller.

I haven’t played in nearly a week and couldn’t be bothered setting up my wheel tonight.
I mainly wanted to see what the TT was like to drive before gold hunting this weekend.
It’s a fun car to drive, looking forward to seeing what it’s like in PSVR2.

1. 2 x 1 hour in Spa with the Toyota TS030 to grind some Cr but also to improve my skills on this lovely track.

2. Golded few track experiences (mostly on Asian tracks)

3. Golded at the 2nd attempt the mission n°6 - Gone with the wind (Spa Francorchamps with the Gran Turismo F1500T-A).

4. Tested the Special licence final test (Spa Francorchamps with the Porsche 917) but failed after several attempts. I need more practice with this particular car with these particular weather conditions.

5. Boughts some cars: Ferrari VGT, Volkswagen ID-R, Nissan Nismo GT500, etc.

6. Roulette = :irked: no comment  !

Tried a race, after weeks of being bored of GT7. Took the 330 P4 out to Sarthe 700 and actually enjoyed it again.
Then got a 3 star ticket for a lousy 5K credits. The joy.....

Bought the GTO 'The Judge' and the Superbird. On the fence of buying the Corvette, but haven't yet.

I put a racing exhaust on my Carrera GT and took it to the Red Bull Ring. I also put a racing exhaust on the One 77 and drove it around Watkins Glen GP. I then bought a Charger Hellcat and took it to the Nurburgring. After that I bought a Mercedes SLS and another Ferrari F40, fully modifying both of them before driving around Sardegna. The Ferrari F40 is a blast when it's fully tuned. Nothing, and I mean nothing, is more exciting in this game.

This game.. smh.. so many options, so many different ways to do things.. i'm gonna have to get back this on Saturday.. for right now tho' workin' on my #2 go to's for Italia' & German, and as it may stand, LaFerrari for Italia' & the Spyder for Deutsch, with the Enzo & RUF being my 1's.. Saturday, yup, that'll be my next update, too much to say right now.. time to go get a couple more grinds in b4 the night is over.. keep it real fellas'.. enjoy the evening..

NW.

The 6* from yesterday gave me a cool million though I dared hope for more. The wheel had the Gr.3 Ford GT Race Car, what looked like the Bugatti Gr.1 based on the livery and 3 different cash payout and I won the largest one. Not gonna whine about a million but like I said for a second there I thought it was going to be more. Grinded Le Mans WTC and the next ticket was a 3* 5000 cr aka back to reality.

I challenged myself into trying to finish a timed WTC race at the exact time and after countless attempts I finally managed to do it.

While the game did say I finished the race .006 earlier, looking at the replay I did manage to finish the race at the exact time.

1. Like yesterday, 2 x 1 hour in Spa Francorchamps to collect Cr. and to gain experience for the final licence test.
This morning, Mr Gallo and his Lambo didn't want to pit for refuelling so he raced at 80km/h most of the time :D

2. Golded the Spa Francorchamps experience track. Missed the gold on the final lap for 1 sec (for now).

3. Won some trophys, just because I needed to change my daily routine.

I did my usual rotation of Sardegna, Watkins Glen, and Nurburgring WTC800 races. Then, I discovered that I could swap the 911 RSR in to the 930 Turbo and took it to Le Mans to see how fast it could go. I also bought a RX8 and swapped in the R26B and took it to Route X to test it out.

Just started 7 last week, with a new rig and the G923. The feedback on that wheel is awesome and realistic, you feel the tires gripping, the cracks in the pavement, and the rubber bits on the outside of turns if you get into them!

Anyway, I’ve worked through Book 26, golded B and A licenses (hated that little yellow Civic at Tokyo, might have said a few bad words…). Also discovered the Circuit experiences (nice credit payouts), learned that every roulette spin gets you the lowest value item on there, friggin’ love the BGM (the classical pieces are lovely), and getting familiar with new tracks.
Tuned 3 cars (Praiano’s tunes = excellent) to compete against the ridiculous head start the field gets, although I’m struggling a bit trying to figure out setting up the tranny (if there’s an order needed, and resetting for different tracks). I’ve got a post in the tuning forums looking for suggestions.

Sorry for rambling on! More to come…

It's nearly 6am and I'm gearing up to run down some Cafe Menus.

Who in their right mind thought a Cafe Menu should exceed a long black and chicken focaccia anyway?
Yet here we are, with cars on the laminated pamphlet of some fictional Greek mans "cafe"?
Lost for words tbh.

Well, I suck, the lore sucks, and the coffee isn't consumable.
We're all stuck in this meaningless grind to get past that Lucas fellas gate.

I should probably go to sleep.

Epic. Just epic. Longest race I’ve done in VR. Epic-er.

The Cosworths were gone for the first couple laps, but horrid fuel economy, saw them pitting frequently.

So many pit stops. No HUD, of course, but thank goodness for the pit stop map and opponent position update. Started P10. Stopped too early for my second pit stop. Making me one lap shy, when I’d get to the end.
Battling that P6 GTI, P5 N2 and P8 M3 all race. Last stops, I exit the pits behind the P1 R5. Fuel gauge is low after a couple laps. So, I’ve got to pit. R5 keeps going. I know I’m done. Had .8 laps left in the tank. Good stuff.

For the last 2 months I thought my game was bugged because the Silvia Sisters and Historic Car Masters events hadn't showed up. Turns out they were part of 2 menu books. I obviously didn't read the patch notes correctly so I addressed this error by completing all the events. I used my Silvia S14 with the LT5 Corvette ZR-1 V8 for the Silvia Sisters and the Cobra for the Historic Car Masters. I then drove my tuned Ferrari F40 around Bathurst. Once again I was blown away by the sheer speed and handling of the thing. Over the top of the mountain the car is unbelievably stable and down Conrod Straight you're hitting over 340 KM/H. You can go through The Chase at over 300 KM/H. The crazy thing about the car is that it doesn't have any weaknesses.

Did some setup laps on Sarthe with a fully upgraded Pontiac GTO The Judge. Might try it for a race there tomorrow. Hoping to get 3 to 4 laps before pitting. Nice ride, great sound.

Got 10K on my daily ticket. 100% improvement on yesterday's one.

Edit: scrap the WTC Sarthe idea. 1,5 laps on a full tank of fuel at FM6.

I now have 400 cars collected, 474 in my garage, and over 600,000 collector points. I did one round of Spa and a number of rounds at Sardegna. I got a 6-star (parts) ticket that gave me a Bore Up S for the VW Scirocco R. I tried an EV at Sardegna. Didn’t go well, ran out of battery at the end of the second lap.
