1. Worked mainly on Deep Forest CE this morning and this circuit experience is a very serious one! I already had S1 and S3 in gold, but S2 and final lap are still in silver (with very poor scores).

S2: after practicing more than one hour, I was able to score +/- regularly in a range between 27.0xx and 27:2xx. The Audi R8 is a violent beast to drive in these corners and you MUST absolutly follow the path of the demo if you want to gold this sector. Finally, I've started to score a first 26:9xxx. This have probably unlocked something (in me) because then, came several 26:8xx. I knew that gold will come soon or later and BOOOM: 26:786. I won't do it again. NEVER :D

S3: previously golded but with a medium score. To be very well prepared to challenge the final lap, I've decided to practice it again. And it was a good decision because most of my scores were in silver or bronze... After tens of tries, I've slightly improved my previous gold score. Careful, a micro-single error and the hairpin will kill your time!

Final lap: my previous score was 1:27.9xx, just to grab the bronze. In 2 laps, I was able to score a good 1:26.566, which is 0.6 over the gold. With more practice this afternoon, I should be able to gold this CE and then I'll be ready for the S-9 super licence with the Nismo GT500.

I took the BMW VGT back to LeMans. Rain came down going into lap 3 so I pitted for wets and dropped down to 14th. Most of the AI didn't pit so later when I got out of the pit I was able to work my way up to 7th place going into the 2nd chicane on the Mulsanne and there was about 4 or 5 cars on the side of the road and was to get into 2nd. I flew by Portilla and didn't look back. After the race I had watch the replay to see what happened and it was just a cause of the AI driving too fast in the rain. I took the 2J to Sardegna and on FM6 did 2 pitstops but only I had add fuel as the tires lasted the whole race. I was surprised at how well the 2J was on the tires. I did the LeMans WTC 800 with the 787b that was a blast

Figured now would be a good time to get on that Trial Mountain Course Experience, better late than never, after all.😁 Granted, it was in the RX-Vision, so not really applicable from a hardware perspective as we're running Gr.4's this week -BUT- I at least know the track now. Gotta shave another tenth on the lap for all gold on that one.

I also now know that, while fast, the 'Vision isn't the most stable car going when added to my driving style. If I was smoother it'd probably be insane, but my inputs are still a bit binary for its liking. Once you lose the back of the car you might as well set the controller down and walk-away until it sorts itself out alongside the road.

Like I said, quite sure I'm doing it wrong.

Fun fact, today I've spent +/-50 mns to cover more than 9.000 meters (only almost 2 laps) on Trial Mountain with the Ford F-150 in the Rolling Stone mission :)

Since my Pagani invitation expires tomorrow, i try the Hiaura at lemans to see if its worth to get a second one.
The car was stock with RH and power limiter to fit at 700pp.
During the first lap, half away, i realise that hardly can get 2 laps and choose FM6 for the rest half lap and enter the pits .
The inticator shows 2.4 lap at full tank .... i just quit the race immediately and save my credits for another time .
Perhaps ill buy a second Enzo but i still had time for it.
Although seems like a good car or at least that's what i sense but the fuel economy is quite bad to use it for any griding purpose.
So ,one piece is enough for my garage for every other use that might have at the future.
Also i got the first 4* of the week.

Today was quite the day.:)

First - I just finished spending 100M credits in Brand Central.

I bought just to name a few.
Porsche 918 - every color
Bugatti VGT and VGT GR1 - every color
Red Bull X2014 Standard 2014 - every color
Aventador LP750-4 SV 2015 - every color
Ferrari VGT - every color

Just to name a few way to many cars to remember them all In total now 1162 cars in my garage.👍

Second I think I had a pretty proactive month grinding in July.:)
Gran Turismo® 7_20230731211258.png

Gonna rest before I grind my credits back to 100M from 300K in the next week or so.

And that was my day today.:)

On the Plus account, it was oh-so-close for the older Nissan GT-R GT3 at Sardegna, but 26:58 couldn't cut it against a good Fraga. Oh well - at least it will do Sarthe with just the addition of rain tires.

Naturally, the month ended on a 3-star Wheel of Despair, the 6th of 27 this month and 63rd of 177 this year. It wasn't quite a despair, even though it landed on the lower-showing of 2 cash prizes, because it was, for the second time this month, the 2nd-highest-possible 100,000 Cr.

On the GTP account, I sent one of my newest purchases to Sardegna, the newer Mercedes-AMG GT3. I passed it up in the testing on the Plus account (I'll get back to it there Wednesday), but it is easily the best Gr.3 car. Even though it needs a bit of fuel saving in the form of short-shifting to make it 5 laps, and needs a tire change, it will do sub-1:41 laps. Even with that tire change, I got the job done in 26:25, which would have stomped even the Superman version of Fraga.

The final 4-star Wheel of Despair of the month punched out the low-showing 30,000 Cr., barely allowing me to get the Toyota FT-1 and the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren.

Put new replica liveries on some of my GR.2 and GR.4 cars. Then did a Le Mans with my GR.3 Viper so I could see where it was at in that race. Then copied the settings to a duplicate sheet and opened it up to 7300pp. Then off to Daytona for that race. Car is fine, driver needs work.

Ran with MasterGT and the MNRL. Had fun with the '73 BMW. I definitely will do the wide body and engine swap on it. Then it's just a matter of the small tweaks to the tune for the increase in weight and power. That will have to wait till October however.

Finally, cashed in my daily 4* for a million GT dollars.

1. While everybody is focused on BMB, I've put some efforts on Spa Francorchamps this morning and finally, I've turned bronze into silver with a new PB at 2:43.077 🥈
To be very honest, I'm not very proud of this mediocre score but this improvement should worth Cr. 750.000 :D

2. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ : Parts for Toyota S-FR Racing concept (worth Cr. 38.000) :yuck:

Only did 2 grinding races 787b to Sardegna and the AMG GT3 at LeMans. My 787 race was horrible I don't think I went more than 2 laps w/o hitting something it was like I was sleep driving but I was awake 🤣. Part was not being aware of the AI and the other was driving the 787 like it was another car. I went to LeMans and the heavy rain came down towards the end of lap 2. So I pitted dropped to 9th but since the AI doesn't have a weather tracker ad they don't communicate with team they drive I the rain and eventually spin out. It always rather funny to me when I see them spin , because it seems like it is always the same spot around the 2nd chicane on Mulsanne. I drive by ad try to avoid the out of control AI. I went to the LCD and saw the Cobra which reminded me I still had one so maxed it out and took it to LeMans. It will get at least 3 laps so I can use it, I just tune it so it handles better.
Got some springs for some car from a 3 ⭐ 🎫.

3. Bought the Mc Laren VGT Gr.1, the Aston Martin DP100 VGT, the 2 Ital Desgin VGT, the Porsche VGT Spyder and the 917 Legend.
At this point, I still need to buy 10 cars for Cr. 136.100.000 to complete my collection.

4. I've tried to gold High Speed Ring CE with the Zonda but this damned banking ruined all my efforts. I'm close from gold but still in silver for now.

I ran a Custom Race recreation of Sunday's Fanatec GT World Championship endurance race at the Nurburgring, with a custom grid of 20 GT3 cars with real names and (mostly) accurate liveries. I added in a few drivers/teams from the Spa 24h that did not actually take part at the Nurb race, namely Laurens Vanthoor, Nikki Thiim (who I met at Spa briefly) and Doriane Pin, whose team/car was at both races, but she didn't race at the Nurb.

I was in the Madpanda AMG GT3 '20 (since I'm still wearing my Madpanda wristband I got from team owner and driver Ezequiel Companc in Spa a few weeks ago ) It started out as a test to see how things would go, but as usual I got carried away and did the entire race - and it was great! I think the fuel and tyre use could stand changing, and rubber banding played a major part once again, but I managed to hold on for a well deserved and thoroughly exciting win by just 1s - after 3 hours of tight racing. In fact, the entire last hour or so was nip and tuck between me, Vanthoor and David Schumacher, with the gap starting at around 6s, but was little more than 3s for the most part...

Massive hat-tip to all of the fantastic livery creators out there - the attention to detail in most of them is seriously impressive.

The results:

The race lasted 89 laps - I went off twice in the first three laps (Laps 2 and 3!) but after that I settled down and stayed on the track for the rest of the race, except one minor excursion at the final chicane, which didn't cost me any time. I stayed between 2.02 and 2.00 for the vast majority of laps, but then strung together 9 laps under 2.00 in a row, which ironically only seemed to play into the rubber banding, and the AI closed up as I got quicker.

Before the midway point, Gounon led, Schumacher was second and I was in third - so an AMG 1-2-3 at that point - but Schumacher went off at the Schumacher S (ironically enough!) and never got back in front of me.

Next up, the Spa 24h :nervous: I'm thinking of making this a 4 hour Custom Race, and I'm also going to re-run this race with realistic weather based on the real race, and/or with 2x fuel and 2x tyres to attempt to recreate the 4 stop strategy of the real race. With 1x fuel and tyres, it was possible to one-stop this race (just), though weirdly the car (AMG '20) starts with more fuel (43 laps) than it is possible to refuel with - it can only take on 39 laps of fuel, so I ended up having to stop again for a 'splash and dash'. I did it nice and early though, and so although I lost the lead of the race, it was relatively easy to get back into the lead of the race.

3 hours and 150,000 Cr. to show for it, but it was well worth the effort.

Got down to 13.6 in the Viper time trial. I've got a little more in me but I think that should be enough.......I hope.

Knocked out all golds on circuit experiences for a few tracks before work this morning as well.

I fermly protest but Doriane "Pocket Rocket" Pin is really faster than this miserable 13th position :D

I checked out of my hotel in Francorchamps right behind Doriane - I thought better of saying hello and/or 'bad luck' after what happened in the race. :scared:

I'm equally gutted that Sam Neary finished second last, but that too is fairly accurate... his car got hit by a Ferrari in the real race and they ended up near the back through no fault of their own. I think the Lambo I used for the GRT car has a different set-up so I will change it back to default for the next one. (I also met Sam on Eau Rouge after the Spa 24h, which was a real highlight of my trip to Belgium last month!)

Today roulette gave me 500 000 cr. On top of that I tuned my Camaro to make it like a stock car. Tuning + gear tweaking. It hits the rev limiter on the final gear at 190 mph with no draft so it is pretty realistic in terms of speed around Daytona. I got a little carried away and made a livery for it.

I'm recovering from nose surgery, sooo, I haven't been playing that much since Saturday.

But today I managed the usual 30m Le Mans race. Will update later if I can get to the TV in the afternoon.
Oh well I hope you get well soon. I'm recovering from ACL surgery. Reconstruction of ligament on the right knee with some bone drilling 😬. Now I'm learning how to walk again 😀

Did a 30min LeMans with the detuned 787B Mazda thanks to a settings made by someone on the forum...but I can't remember who, so thanks whoever is he
Did a couple B daily on sport mode
Won 5k at roulette with 3* ticket

I picked up a 33.5 second punishment for spinning off the track at Le mans with slicks on the wettest race I've ever had. It started on lap 2 and didn't stop until lap 5. Bright yellow on the weather screen. Only got 30,000 credits from the four star ticket just added to the misery.

Usually the last week before the update, heavy and very heavy rain hits the track at this race .
Always when you leave the track at rain with wrong tyres you get very high penalties, you might go out and get two penalties for it ,thats why you see such a long number.
Even if you're at very low speed, you can't avoid the penalty in this case.
Using wet tyres is different, but with slics on heavy rain the penalties are huge.

On the GTP account, I picked up the modern Porsche Pig from scuffling through the last of the Porsche time trials, then sent the tuned 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL to Sarthe for a grind. I forgot that I didn't need FM 6 to do a 1-stop run, but the weather intervened to the point I did a 3-stop/6-lap run. August began like July, with a 3-star Wheel of Despair puking out the lowest-possible 5,000 Cr.

On the Plus account, I bought rain tires for the older GT-R GT3 and went to Sarthe. I set up for a 1-stop race by using FM 3, but thanks to a late rainshower, the clock ran out just before I finished lap 7. The 4-star Wheel of Despair pushed out the low-showing 30,000 Cr.

1. +/- 290 kms with the Zonda on High Speed Ring this morning, trying to improve every sector to gold this damned CE.
  • S1. 26.076 - gained 0.024 on my previous PB
  • S2. 21.292 - gained 0.150 on my previous PB
  • S3. - gained nothing. No more than 5 gold scores on more than 40 tries. Just wonder who did a 19.703 few months ago with my account... :odd:
Final lap. - gained nothing, constantly in silver around 1.04.500 / 1.04.600 (gold is at 1.04.300) :banghead:
2. ⭐⭐⭐: Cr. 5.000... :irked: :yuck:

I tried out the Audi VGT at Sardegna and it did surprisingly well. I ran FM2 and got about 10 laps the tires wore down a little bit faster but I made them last for 10 laps. Then I took the Shelby Cobra to LeMans and had made some tweaks to kinda improve the handling but I didn't do a good job. I was able to get about 3 laps before putting the rain came down hard for 2 laps and I ended putting again on lap 6 to finish out the race. I took the Audi VGT and gave it a carbon fiber livery. Got 4* 🎟️ and got 10k cr

Please do me a favour mate .
Next times you run at La Sarthe, make a note when rain comes and the type of rain.
I have observe that about a week or so before updates, heavy rain hits the track and last significant longer than usual.
Just want to confirm that since am running this race almost every day at least one time .
