Fully tuned my new corolla and went on a tokyo run.
A bit dissapointed to be honest.
Obviously its just an initial thought as I raced only once with it, so the performance will likely improve with more testing, but the new corolla feels like a bit of a downgrade compared to the yaris.
The engine is more powerful, but the Corolla's heavier weight more than counteracts that. The Yaris' power-to-weight ratio is (in American terms, so lower is better) 10.61 pounds/hp, while the Corolla's is 10.66 pounds/hp.

Did another test with corolla and yaris in tokyo:
Similar values in suspension and lsd, with same weight, weight distribution and close as possible hp (436 for corolla, 434 for yaris).
They were very close in terms of handling, but the yaris, (with this hp and weight) was superior in speed and specially fuel economy.
Fuel economy seems to be corolla's biggest "no no"
I received a second 6 star ticket after getting one yesterday! Wut????? Never happened before. Yesterday was a 5 gold bar gift, today the Mazda RX Vision, worth a cool million. Very happy!
Apart from that, plugging away at the time trials.
Collected my GR Corolla and for some reason I also got a GR010 with the 2023 livery which I had already but I'll just slap a community livery on this extra.👍
Also got 1M credits from that Toyota race I did yesterday so I collected that as well.👍
1. Banked Cr. 1.150.000 for my very modest participation at the Toyota Gazoo Racing GT Cup yesterday. Also received the Toyota GR Corolla Morizo Edition '22 as gift 😍
2. Went to le Mans with Godzilla for credits reasons. Almost no rain at all (global warming?).
3. Improved my PB at Monza with the Ferrari 330 P4 at 1:47.776. I'm getting closer from my "yellow" objective but still need to gain +/- 5 tenths for a secured score. Very satisfying and promissing score!
Also you need MT gears and not AT in order to reach the pits or to proceed when weather radar indicates that is gonna be dry soon.
But that is an exception - mostly -and not the " rule " for the average player.
Just did only 2 races yesterday.
Am 3 races away to full " recover" and as " Billionaire " would say , ill be ready for a super shopping spree : I'll buy all my missing cars under ,...........55k 🤣🤣
without feeling guilty.
On the GTP account, I took delivery of 2,850,000 Cr. in bonuses based on the best 4 of my 5 races in the GT3 league of the Toyota Cup (missing the top 30% in my locale) and a Toyota GR Corolla for running the last race. I hit Sardegna with the Lexus SC430 GT500 for the credits and a 4-star workout ticket that pushed out a camshaft s for the 2015 Honda Civic. I grabbed the last 2 real 1,000,000-Cr. cars I needed (the Toyota TS030 and TS050), and also the Dodge Tomahawk X VGT.
I took said Tomahawk to Special Stage X to get the last 2 speed-related trophies. I then cleaned up a few other trophies by buying 3 Honda S660s (selling 1 immediately for 5,220 Cr.), buying 6 sets of cheap wheels, and taking a bunch of pictures, including at least 1 at the Nurburgring scape with the M6 GT3 Endurance. That leaves taking a scape photo of the older Audi R18 and 45 more Sport races.
On the Plus account, I took delivery of 1,000,000 Cr. in bonuses, a Toyota GR Corolla and a Toyota GR010 for running the last GT3 Toyota Cup race. I also used the Lexus SC430 at Sardegna, but went with a no-stop strategy on FM 6. It's not quite a minute slower, but it will still get the job done.
The ninth 3-star Wheel of Despair of 22 this month on this account (and 12th of 44 between the two accounts) piked out the lowest-possible/low-showing 5,000 Cr. on an all-cash wheel.

Today's 6am > Was pretty amazing... I opened the world map only to discover I had tickets for the Corolla GR and the GR010 which I didn't expect because I did some practice laps on the last round but wasn't able to enter the actual race.
Also... I finally golded the National A test! I got the Subaru BRZ as a reward and got some nice sport soft tyres for it. I did a couple of laps with it. Tomorrow I will race the Japanese FR 450.
With the spare time I had until my daughter woke up I did some laps with the NSX concept at the Suzuka time trial and improved a lot my time. Still pretty far from $$$. Will try again tomorrow.
Ι got my cars (Toyota GR10 and Corolla GR)
Thank you PD!!! I saved 3 mil (that i haven't) from not buying the Gr.1 car
Run a Buthurst race with Corolla. It was a very capable car!!!!
After that i run a Le Mans custom race with GR10 with a second lap full of water!!!!
Got 30k from wheel
I'm not complaining....
I got my 🆓 🚗 s which surprised because I didn't remember completing a full practice lap or do a race with the Corolla not complaining though. I downloaded 2 liveries for the Gr010. Took it to Sardegna and got 5 laps in and realized I was not going to be able to finish as I wanted to play Armored Core 6 before I went to bed. Got daily marathon and got 100k from a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🎫
Got silver in the Suzuka TT before it closes out. I’ve been working my way up from settling for bronze with the occasional silver to closing in on getting gold. Not yet there, but I keep pushing. In GT6 was usually solid gold in everything but slowed down in recent years.
Then checked on the Shelby Cobra in Hagerty and it’s gone to Limited stock and am $1.5M short from securing one of the last $20M legends. So onto some grinding at Sardegna to get the necessary. Won the first run and got a ******star ticket for the mileage. Thought I would check this before doing the next grind to get to $20M, and what do you know, $1M pops up from the ticket, happy days. Shelby Cobra here we come.
Sometimes the stars just align.
Celebrated by putting race no. 58 on the Cobra - because, why not
On the GTP account, I sold off the 2nd of 3 excess Honda S660s for 5,370 Cr. For the cash and the 4th 3-star Wheel of Despair of 23 on the month (and pending the Plus run, 13th of 45 between the 2 accounts), I took the Chevrolet Corvette Gr.4 to Sarthe for a very-wet, very-precise (30:00.729) 6-lap run. Said Wheel of Despair puked out a height-adjustable suspension. Still, I had enough to get the older Alpine VGT.
On the Plus account, I ran the Dodge Viper Gr.4 in a 1-stop (FM 3) mostly-dry run at Sarthe. The 4-star Wheel of Despair gave a 2015 Honda Civic, which I hung onto.
Yesterday i decrease the number of cars need to buy to 138.
Leaving out the 4 of the 20 million sisters i need , i guess i want about 100 to 120 millions to get them all, plus 80 for the 4 LCD unicorns .
Since I've been at all brands to buy the low price ones , i realise the " waste " needed to buy all those " electric" vgt's 🤐 and other ugly stuff .
If everything goes right, i might end this before Christmas.
Till then only one way left....
Today's 6am > Nothing special. @ Sport Mode: Gave the NSX Concept another chance to win me some $$$ at Suzuka but didn't. Car's fault not mine, obv. Tomorrow I will try to improve my time at Monza with the Ferrari.
@ Single player: I entered the Japanese FR 450 and won both races easily with the Subaru BRZ (from NA gold). Next menu is French hot hatches... I did some practice laps with the WV Scirocco (from NA bronze). I'll race tomorrow.
Was surprised to get the GR010 as I don't have PS Plus, but am glad I did a practice lap now (which didn't need PS Plus)!
Also received the "Morolla Chorizo" - not sure why they named it after a sausage 🤔
Used the GR010 to finally clear the GR1 menu though I only came second on Indianapolis.
6 star ticket got me a McLaren VGT which I didn't have 👍 . Haven't been able to win the VGT races yet, this should do the trick.
And daily mileage got me a cheap Safety Car which i also didnt have.
I believe all you had to do for that was register for the event and you would have been given the GR010 and the GR Corrolla. That's literally all I did...I registered for the event a while ago and completely forgot about it since I haven't had the time to play as much and then when I logged in yesterday, those 2 cars were waiting for me in my garage.
Our homebrew shuffle races with friends have been really picking up lately, and we're more often than not getting full lobbies (sometimes with people waiting for slots to get in) that last solidly for a good few hours. We're pulling in more people than I had ever expected, and people are telling other people about it and we're getting a huge swath of people involved.
I never thought I'd say this, but we've even now held these shuffle races with multiple (current and former) GTWS drivers involved - a lot of people here likely know Doodle, and people will probably recognise F. Pagandet from their singleplayer experiences too. It's been amazing to have faces like these in our lobbies, and it's honestly speaking volumes for just how much the game needs a built-in feature like this again, as it's just constantly a great time. We've automated it as best as we can now, but it's so substitute for it being in the game.
Some more pictures below. I know it's a 0% chance of it ever happening, but it would be nice if these bigger voices being involved actually resulted in movement. A man can dream! It's criminal a mode this much fun was plucked out of GT5 never to be seen again.
I'll never forget stuff like this. Going side-by-side through the track with world class drivers you'd only ever see on the screen or on a stage, nothing to it but how much either of you can extract out of the car. It's awesome.
Greetings, I took my racing E-Type out to LeMans for the 30 minutes race todayand by the end of lap two I saw heavy rain coming in the radar so i dove into the pits for wets and a top off of fuel.
At the first chicane in lap three it was already at stage 3 with standing water, which i slowed my pace to maintain stability. On the straight after Mulsanne corner I had the golden shower and lots of standing water...
Laps 4 & 5 were rainy and it stopped by the Porsche Curves on 5 and was considerably wet for lap 6 and the end of race.
Collected a ☆☆☆☆ ticket and will cash in my collection of 21 tickets tonight and record for YouTube.
Hit up the Spa 1 Hour Race in Corvette C7 Gr.3 (740PP). I wanted to be really lazy with saving fuel so I just used the power restrictor so it would do it for me. A fairly straightforward drive without feeling too overpowered. The credits going into that starving virtual wallet felt so good.
Instantly bought the Castrol Supra with it, then opened up the Roulette Ticket for 500k. Completely forgot I had a Lamborghini invitation.
Finally got around to the Suzuka time trial. Got my gold time and skedaddled. When the prize comes in, Ill need another ~600k or so to get the Veneno and have it sit the garage for the rest of eternity. Its just so Lamborghini, it hurts.
The rest of the time was spent working on a replica taxi livery for the Prius. The majority of it was just on finding the right graphics to put on or creating them from the logos/pictures I could find online.
Then took a nice photo.
A little bit of research had to be done on Taxi license plates. The letter A represents the first owner of the taxi -- B the second and so on.
Except the letter H. Which also represents the first owner. You can skip from A to I apparently.
I also wanted to fit this car in as well, but Scapes has that 3 car limit.
