Reworked some old setups for my Corvette C3 and Peugeot 908.

It had been some time since last driving the 908, so it was notably "broken". If my memory serves me right, it was the setup from the sub-5 minute lap attempt around the same time last year, obtaining a time of 5:01.065. The top speed is currently much lower (228 --> 212 mph) and turned out to be significantly less stable at high-speed.

The rake was set to 0.250 deg, with downforce balance set to is 42.5 : 57.5. Just preference/comfort settings for now. Very much needed for how rusty I am.

Will probably be experimenting with new methods of getting (more convenient) gear ratios and dampers. The only thing missing now is camber.

Today, I finally got P1 for the Super Formula round at Fuji, and collected the six-star parts ticket that's part of the New Year's login campaign. That one got me an Ultra-High RPM Turbo for the Nissan GT-R (R35) Nismo, and what's more, the four-star ticket I got for my daily workout netted me a Ferrari VGT! I already had one, though - and I think in the exact same color, too, but it's still nice. (Funny enough, this isn't the first time I've obtained a Ferrari worth over 1m via a ticket, and in a color I already had - I previously netted a second Rosso Corsa FXX K from the Shelby-themed Extra Menu!)

I also collected my six-star car ticket for the GT Sport Thank You campaign, and got me a white Chaparral VGT, which is especially nice since the only Chaparral I had was the 2J that one gets from clearing the missions.

Moving on, I did some laps for the online time trial at Fuji Short featuring Gr.2, specifically using the NSX Concept-GT. I got solidly into silver range, but I don't think I can shave off another eight tenths to get into gold range.

Then there were the Weekly Challenge races. I started off by trying the Model III one-make a few times, but my best finish so far is 2nd. Of course, that's likely because I've been trying to use the car as-is, so maybe if I upgrade to Sport Mediums, I'll have a better shot.

1. Banked Cr 2.000.000 after golded TT Deep Forest with Mamy Shelby

2. Raced the Weekly Challenge (more details here). Thanks for the credits^^.

3. Started the new TT on Spa with the Alfa Romeo 4C. Medium results so far :boggled:

4. Golded the S-9 licence (Deep Forest with the Nissan GT500) with a very lazy 1:22.799

Still need Cr. 7.5 millions to buy the 250 GTO.

Good evening / afternoon / night / morning GT Planet folks !

Got the login ticket then finished 1st with CRB in 4 of the weekly challenges and opened the rewards before switching over to D4. Not looking forward to the 1 hour Spa race to get the final reward, that one always bores me.

Completed the weekly race challenges, collected my ticket prizes and my payout for the GT350 TT at Deep Forest. Got a 5 star for the daily routine that gave me the Gt500 GTR Gr2 car that I didn't have so that's good.

I claimed my free car ticket, and won a One77!

Then I logged into my fiancee's account to claim her one for her (She rarely plays the game, still in the early campaign), and she got a Valk.

It was a nice, long day thanks to how the weekly challenges and time trials lined up. First things first, I collected my 200,000 Cr. for the 4th day of the login bonus and 2,000,000 Cr. for getting my second gold in the time trial. I made a mistake doing enough time at the Spa time trial (going down to a marginal-silver 2:45.9 and on pace for another second when I hit a bollard) - I "earned" my 8th 3-star Wheel of Despair of 25 this month (and pending the Plus run, 10th of 49), "worth" the low-showing 10,000 Cr.

For the Weekly Challenges:
  • At the Brands Hatch Sunday Cup Classic, after initially getting into the Honda S800, I pulled the elder Alfa Romeo Giulia out of the garage after seeing it and the equally-not-original Citroen DS 21 near the front of the field. There was no new (or any) pre-race chatter, and it took just under 2:16 to eke out the clean win.
  • Getting a clean finish at the one-make Tesla event at Tokyo Expressway was difficult, mostly because I can't get the a feel for electric cars, though it eventually happened in 3:00.
  • The Kyoto Japanese 4WD Challenge wasn't in a Toyota GR Corolla, with a clean 4:08 win against a field that included the Mitusbishi Evo III that started mid-pack and ended last.
  • I forgot how much of a beast the Red Bull Neoclassical Challenge is. Fortunately, I had a Porsche 962 C with a decent sub-800 PP tune and found out that pitting on lap 7 for intermediates was the way to go, and got a close, clean win in 16:01. There was neither any cars added after the race debuted nor new pre-race chatter.
  • I took the Audi R8 LMS Evo to Spa as it was one of only a few Gr.3 cars that already had both intermediate and wet tires. I worked way too hard and long for a "clean" 24-lap win in a race with no new content.
In sum, for just over 3.1 million Cr. with clean-race bonuses, it takes just short of 1 1/2 hours of racing...not counting all the resets.

On the Plus account, I didn't exactly play fair while doubling up on a pair of cars. Since 34-year-old cars are considered classic, I used the Nissan R32 GT-R NISMO for the Sunday Cup Classic and Japanese 4WD Challenge. After that, I spent entirely too much time in an ultimately-unclean Tesla race, backing all the way out several times to try to avoid rolling roadblocks. Finally, I picked up a Praiano tune for the Mazda 787B to do the Red Bull Ring Neo-Classic Challenge and the Spa WTC 800, for a pair of too-easy wins.

The 4-star marathon ticket gave me a Renault Megane Trophy...the MR race car, not any of the FF R.S. variants. I hung onto it.

1. Just bought another Golf GTI because....

Yesterday was a wacky gaming sesh.

  • Logged in and got the obligatory reward which was a 5 star roulette ticket, netted a Pagani AMG engine. Need to chk where that goes.
  • Then tackeld some weekly races, but yet to buy a crappy Tesla 3 to do the one off make races.
  • Moved onto some Super licence tests which were fun.
  • Tackled the new Alfa TT and hate it so much, the car is so wallowy i did a few laps and left it.
  • Then for some reason, impulsive I guess, I went and tuned my existing 4C and slapped a 458 engine in it. This car transformered, I painted it alfaish greeen with red mirriors (will upload snaps shortly). Very quick and quick good handling at its wieght size. Like a mini GT car.
  • THen when crazy and did a 12 lap SS X route Custom Race to test my Tuned NSX agaisnt my bonkers RCF and CHiron. GOt 4th place but strategic and kinda fun to play.
  • Then bought a Tomahawk to do um draggys and try to achieve the bonkers sub 10sec time some nutter have done.
  • Back to TT tomo (today) and get some better times.
This is the closest image rep till I upload my pics.

Discover i have Access to my gt7 profile on my cellphone.
And still surprised how Esther my 10 years old daughter is interested by this game , as she share watching Replay with me .

1. Banked Cr. 200.00 for the daily connexion :)

2. Some tries on Spa with the C4. Mostly invalidated laps... Fuc*** ballasts :banghead:

3. Banked Cr. 30.000 for the daily marathon :irked:

4. Raced Le Mans with my GT-R Gr.3 for credits reasons :dopey:

5. Golded Deep Forest lap attack: 1:25.895 :) (also for credit reasons). Replay available in game.

Still need Cr. 5.5 millions to buy the GTO :boggled:

I completed the European Clubman Cup 600 with the 2-lap race at the Nordschleife.

I found it surprisingly hard in a 600 PP car, so I ended up modifying a BMW M4 up to 695 PP and it was all plain sailing, until the rubber-banding kicked in.

I started around 40s down on P1, but had reached P2 and was only 17s off the lead by the end of Lap 1. I quickly reeled in the leader, and we were neck and neck going into Bergwerk on Lap 2.

What happened next was pretty crazy. I was determined to get the CRB so I stayed behind the lead car (an Alfa Romeo Giulia GTam '20), as it was nigh on impossible to pass cleanly in the twisty sections of the Nurb. I figured I'd bide my time and pass on Dottingher Hohe, but it had far better straight line speed (suspiciously so) and by the end of the back straight, I was 2.2s down. Amazingly, however, I managed to take the last few corners almost perfectly and passed the Alfa on the line, winning by 0.084s.

I'm toying with the idea of buying the 250 GTO - I have 18 million already, but I don't know how long it will be in the LCD. I was saving for the Porsche 917K, but the GTO is very tempting.

On the GTP account, I took the Corvette Gr.4 to a very soggy Sarthe. I ended up pitting 4 times (or at least I reported to my pit stall the 4th time as time ran out just before I crossed the finish line). The 4-star marathon Wheel of Despair projectile-vomited out a semi-racing muffler, while the cashless 5-star login Wheel of Despair liquid-pooped out an invite.

On the Plus account, it was the much the same thing with the Alfa Romeo 155. The third 3-star marathon Wheel of Despair of 26 (and 11th of 52) dropped the low-showing 10,000 Cr., while the cashless 5-star login ticket gave a Maverick.

Weird day,wasn't expecting it,....got 500k log-in thingy,500k daily ,did weekly races 4-5 ,got over 1 million,won race 5 for 1.5 million,3.6+ million in about 75 minutes :boggled:

I am working my way through the Event Directory and tried the Pick Up Race at Willow Springs.

I could only get 2nd with a stock Ford Raptor, so elected to put SS tyres on it - weirdly, having SS on front but CM on the rear gives you 512 PP instead of 497 PP with all SS tyres. That said, with SS/CM tyres, the thing is undrivable.

1. Daily marathon: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ = Cr. 30.000 😓

2. Daily connexion: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ = Peugeot 908 HDI (sold Cr. 368K)

3. Slightly improved my time on Spa TT with the Alfa Romeo 4C: 2:43.814 🥈 Still need to gain 1.5 sec. for a secured gold.

Drove a couple of Sophy races on LeMans in VR this morning.

Winning combination.

Since completing the car collection I made another 8 Million. Should be enough to pay for whatever VGS nonsense they throw at us in January.
