What did you do in GT7 today?

Finally tackled the 600PP touring car championship at wet Tokyo. I thought it would be harder as many people complain about its difficulty. Did it with a near stock Viper 13'' on hard sports tires at medium difficulty with a thrustmaster wheel + clutch + H-shifter, the only modifications are front splitter, rear wing (small) and racing bakes + racing brake pads.
And I made a couple mistakes.
That was a lot of fun!

Spent some time tuning my SLR GT to run on Race tires. It's completely different on slicks vs sports tires. Once I got that worked out, it was time to make a 700pp tune for those races. Run a Le Mans to see how well it works. It passed. Used a bit more fuel then I would like but that's okay.

Ran MNRL with the new Audi. Still don't lie that car.

Just finished picking cars for Geezers Wednesday night. Where discovered my SLR GT turned down to make the 700pp class and my ACR-X are so very close that it's not even funny. 😐

1. Playing again with licences A et IA, trying to improve my previous times to get as closer as possible from my online friends records. It's fun, very challenging and I learn a lot on technical points like not losing too much speed in curves, the breaking points, etc. Very informative!

2. ⭐⭐⭐ : Corvette C8 '20 - Sold at Cr. 36.600 :)

3. I'll lap on Spa this afternoon with the objective to get a silver score there. Wish me luck!!

Today not much just the usual grind I grinded the hell out of Tokyo to get to 50M.:embarrassed:

Got another 3* ticket stuff which this game just loves giving me for some reason. :redflag:
With so much griding every day , i think doesn't matter that much the ticket prizes.
Perhaps a secret code recognize you as a " road roller " and a " billionaire" also 🤣 .
Since swaps and all that stuff are " free" now ,the only interest from the tickets are the invitations that you already have .
So you're on another level from the majority , a level that allows you to say about the daily tickets:

To be fair I still need
23 more Huayra
2 more Veneno
1 more GT by Citroen

to collect every invite car in every color.

:)

😂😂😂 Just out of curiosity, how many cars total do you currently have in your garage? LOL.

Edit: NVM, I just noticed it in your signature! 954 cars 😳😳

😂😂 Right now, my collection consist of only the LCD cars that I've managed to acquire so far, all the invite only cars from Brand Central and some cars that I genuinely like from a looks perspective and I know I will just enjoy driving them in the game. Besides that I sell everything else that I don't care for and I know are readily available if I need to buy them again for one reason or another. Since I don't grind too much I just put the credits toward completing the full collection of cars in game but without really wanting to keep everything.

I can see why @smoothbore12 @Pesselles call you "billionaire" 😂😂😂.

On the Plus account, I bought some rain tires for the VW GTI Supersport, and I needed both of them at a very-soggy Sarthe. It does need FM 6 to make it 3 laps, and because of the lack of top-end power, it's not as fast as the PP suggests, but it will still do a 4:15 lap in the dry.

I now have won as many engine tickets as 3-star Wheels of Despair on this account. The 4th engine ticket of the month dispensed my third Mustang GT engine.

On the Plus account, I did something potentially very stupid - I took my freshly-won Porsche 959 from the 2nd Porsche Time Trial to Tokyo for the wet WTC 600 race. It didn't handle so well stock, so I put mid-downforce aero on it. It was almost fast enough, but the tires wouldn't last. I then took all the weight off I could, stiffened the chassis, and added a roll cage (C), racing brakes (slotted) and racing brake pads. This time, I took a 3.5-second win over Kokubun in 27:33 (my fast last lap 2:12.5). I even managed to avoid contact to get the CRB.

Unfortunately, my luck didn't extend to the Wheel of Despair - the NINTH 3-star Wheel of Despair of 22 on this account this month puked out the lowest-possible 5,000 Cr.

I drove 6.75 laps of Le Mans 700PP. As I was nearly the end of the race the sun poked out and I used my PS5 to take a screenshot. What I didn’t realize is my inputs navigating the screenshot menu was also picked up by GT7. I clicked to get the screenshot which at the same time selected the restart button in GT7 causing me to exit the race without getting the 800k prize 🤬

Here’s the stupid picture I regret

Exactly!

I said it before and i'll say it again, quality>quantity..

Why screw around with cars you're never going to use, or collect dust in the garage ?.. I just couldn't justify having 20 of my Enzo's, unless of course I was burning the mileage off of them per week.. & IF I had that much time i'd more than likely be retired with nothing better else to do with my time (unlikely).. I'll take my 77 built up cars, 10 of them with just over 1K and be just fine.. & yeah, I love every single one them.. each one different, each one a blast to drive.. to each their own.. just my .02

30 minutes in Le Mans with my beloved little blue Alpine A220!!!
Roullete tragic and some online races to calm down my nerves from roullete...
Some lobbies are so nice to race so ballanced and with some more custom rules would be perfect.
Today is the day that i will buy the one and only Lamborghini Miura!!!!!

I let my nephew grind my daily ticket. 4*= Racing Crank Shaft. Birthday ticket produced Lexus VGT which was sold immediatley as I already had one. I didn't feel like doing anyting else as I'm suffering from silhouette withdrawl. I'll cash in my TT later and log a new lap in whatevers coming next.

Have done a bunch of stuff in the last couple of days...set a gold time at Maggi', which was probably the highlight.

Been gettin' a bunch of cool stuff on the wheel of misfortune lately (blasting through menu books). Scored a handful of motors (Vette; LT1 and LT5, Escudo and Skyline) and a Level 5 WR for the Enzo. Hit the 500K a couple times which was nice because now I need to buy an Enzo. 😁

Been a good week so far.

On the GTP account, I ground Sardegna with the usual - the 2008 Honda NSX GT500. Good news - I didn't get a 3-star Wheel of Despair. Bad news - I got the lowest-showing/lowest possible 10,000 Cr. on an all-cash 4-star Wheel of Despair.

On the Plus account, I used the older Lexus RC F GT3 Prototype at Sardegna, the 2nd-last Gr.3 over 700 PP to test. It's quite a bit slower than the newer RC F - it struggles to get under 1:44, doing so at the end of a 5-lap run (itself a lap short of the newer RC F), the tires are questionable for a 15-lap run, it understeers more, and is also prone to corner-exit on-throttle oversteer. That, slong with a near-perfect Fraga, left me 16.8 seconds behind him and a race time of 27:04.

The all-cash 4-star Wheel of Despair had the same result as on the GTP account - the lowest-showing/lowest-possible 10,000 Cr. At least if I go another day without a 3-star this month, I'll actually do better than the odds this month on this account, though the other one is already guaranteed to be worse than the odds.

1. Banked the Cr. 2.000.000 from my 🥇 medal at Lake Maggiore (still like a kid at Christmas eve^^). I think 8776th is my best ranking in a TT! So grateful for the help and the support received.
I'll focus now on Spa Francorchamps TT to get closer as possible of the 🥈!
TT medals received:
🥇: 5
🥈: 3
🥉: 4

2. Golded the S-4 licence test (Tokyo Expressway with the Supra GT500) 🥇 with an unexpected fastest lap than the great @Evilmuffin :dopey:
Speaking of the Super licence, I still need to gold these tests to get the 2 last trophies:
  • S-7 Laguna Seca: currently in bronze
  • S-8 Interlagos: currently in silver
  • S-9 Deep Forest: currently in silver
  • S-10 Spa Francorchamps: currently in bronze

3. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: Cr. 1.000.000 :sly:

On my alt account, which I have been using since coming back to GT post Sport, long break, finally got out of D and into C. Immediately there is such an improvement in driving, its almost like playing another game.
