Had a lot of sophy races.

How fast is the shingeno trueno???

I was running a 22b and was blasted by this corolla dude. He was reaching 250 kmh, so I had to buy it and test it. It does reach that, pretty easy...

Very Quick sleeper

I tried Sophy for the first time. Never used it before, had read about it with interest but for some reason never tried it out. But now you can use it in custom races, why not? I don't particularly like the standard AI. I feel like it lacks that last bit of intensity which can sometimes feel like races are being handed to you.

Set up a 20 car Super Formula grid from my garage, chose Suzuka, placed myself fifth on the grid and set off. First impressions are really good. The other cars didn't vanish over the horizon like I half expected, I could at least race with them, but they're more forceful now, I felt like they were trying to beat me and I felt a bit of accomplishment when I actually passed one of them to go fourth at the hairpin. I lasted five laps before running wide and watching them all pile past me. I feel like this AI is so much better that it potentially transforms the level of immersion in races and to be honest I'm going to have to get better because I found the level of intensity much higher and the level of concentration needed etc....but this is good, this is what I've always wanted from this game. Looking forward to trying it again tonight.

Tried out the Sophy AI on Bathurst with some GT4 cars, it lead to easily the most intense three way duel (Me in the Aston Martin, A viper and a GT citroën). The duel ended with me clipping a piece of the barrier and losing. In a last, desperate attempt to at least get second, I ended up with forth instead. A few colourful words were said.

On a side note, I really don't like Bathurst. It's way too tight, and there is essentially no room for error on the upper section, I guess that is why others like it?

I ran the Tokyo 600 for the 1st time in over a year. Whenever I wanted to grind I normally do either LeMans or Sardegna. I got worn out on Tokyo so I had to leave it alone for awhile. I might start back doing that race maybe bring it back to the rotation with the other 2. I set up 700 pp Sophy custom race. It was a 15 minute sprint and I put myself in a Audi Evo 19 in 20th place. I set fuel and tire wear to 2x. I think have to play around with the settings a little bit more. Also I gave Sophy an Escudo and that car was dominating on Trial Mountain. It was running 1:42 compared to the rest of the field which was about 1:50 and above.
I don't expect to win but I was struggling to keep up on the straights in the Audi. Might need to tweak it some to be more competitive

I happened to trip over Sabine's name somewhere which sent me off into the Livery Editor to try out my rudimentary skills and create an homage to the "Queen of the Ring".

If the image doesn't strike a chord with you, here's the story -

I still hope for a real Transit. If the game is about motoring culture of all types it's very iconic here in Britain.

Did a 15 lap Sophy GT4 race. I swear that after the track limits, the surface turns to ice. It did lead to an intense 4 car battle for first. Me in the Aston Martin, A Citroen GT, Porsche Cayman GT4 and the Dodge Viper GT4. The Citroen took itself out when it poorly timed a overtake, resulting in it clipping the Porsche and spinning, and I managed to hold onto first, for a single lap. A poorly timed brake however resulted in me losing it and going to third. I managed to just about get second, with the Viper only 0.208 seconds faster. Not as bad as my race at Bathurst yesterday.

I did initially try with Tokyo Expressway, but I found it too difficult for my tastes.

Brought the Wicked GT51, I marked it as owned on Kudosprime, but I didn't actually own it, so I corrected that.

After being away for about 2 years of serious playing and getting a PSVR2 last year, I started from scratch, while keeping everything I had before (250+ cars).

By starting from scratch I mean redoing all licenses for starters.
I plan to do all events from now on, with this setup, rediscovering the game in VR and after many updates...

I did another Tokyo race with the Veyron. Got 5k cr from a 3 ⭐ 🎟️ . I got the same thing yesterday. Who knows what tomorrow will bring

Created a new PSN and redid the Cafe stuff (for about the 5th time) because I wanted to learn to use the roof(?) cam after a lifetime of chase. I'm not going to admit it's superior, but I do appear to be a bit faster.

I was a stalwart for chase until GT Sport, when I switched to the roof cam after watching a Tidgney video and realizing if you really want to maximize track usage (see - curb abuse) you have to be able to see directly infront of the car. With chase cam, the car itself blocks your view of what's immediately infront of it.
