What do you miss the most?

My youth, my virginity, my naiveness, my marbles, my motorcycles, Banana Bubbles, cats, family, sausage roll & Niknaks.

I'm 24 and have no idea what that is.

Edit.

After inspecting the url, I see that they are turkey twizzlers, but I've never had one.

What I miss? My childhood days, my grandparents, my house before renovation, my Primary School (original state in 2001) and 90's music...

You sir, missed out big time. Fair enough if you never tried them though. They were delish. Spotty bag days (usually Fridays) in Primary School were the best.

I was one of the packed lunch kids in school, and my mum didn't really buy things like that for us. I'm from a fairly well off family (though I myself happen to be broke) so I was lucky to get nice dinners every night. It's no surprise that the second I moved out on my own, I put on weight because of all the junk I started eating.

I miss the time before I started to become preoccupied with earning money and paying bills. That carefree feeling that childhood sometimes offered.

And the days when a mars bar cost just 25p.

Second that.

I remember being 14 and planning to spend my salary on car parts. I based it roughly on I could be making a grand a month once I left school and didn't factor in any bills or anything. It was all "This months salary is going on Webber carbs, next month Veilside wing and Ecossie wheel arch extensions." I still haven't got a driving licence!

And the Mars bars, £1 for 5 in Woolies. Those were the days.

Also gone.

I'm still absolutely nowhere near £1,000 per month gross income, let alone bills and such.

I'm up to £1600 a month on outgoings :nervous:

New kid and all. Luckily my freelance work on top of my 9-5 combined with my weekend chef job gives me enough to keep my little family ticking.

I never thought being an adult would be this expensive.

Here's to making sure my little one gets the most carefree childhood I can manage to provide

Having had a few bad experiences with them shortly before they closed for good, I can safely say that I don't miss them at all.

Do tell.

I used to love Woolies. They sold some neat stuff as a 10 year old, plus their pic'n'mix was great.

Big gap on the high street when that closed in my town. Got replaced by a £ shop but that too has since closed down.

They were awesome, I found them in America last August. I was so tempted to bring a couple of bags back on the plane..

I used to love turkey twizzlers too(If that's what they are, I'm pretty sure). Used to have them in Year 1 & 2 before the school went 'healthy'.

I hated then while they were around but now I strangley miss them. Food now isn't actually any healthier it just is healthly concepts that have been make with the cheapest ingredients possible.

I miss the days before my paperound when I could get up at a reasonable time in the morning.

Going to school and not having to worry about money or family, all while getting screwed up at raves every other weekend!

And my '90 CRX Si. And sex.

I miss the days when 200 mph was considered the fastest a car could go.

Why?

When new console games cost 30-40 dollars. Now it's rare to see a good one under 60.

Ah I remember those days... You could buy a PS2 game for 8-20 bucks.

Smoking weed and not caring about ****.. Playing the hell out of San Andreas.. Driving the hell out of my old beaters.. My dope old Daihatsu.. Being able to waste money.. Pretty much that :)

I don't miss childhood or anything though.. Curfew is a bitch.

You're in Norway... I thought your people were mild :odd:

Actually, in the late 80's and early 90's, there were NES and SNES games that were hitting 60 quid here from some mature gamers musings on another forum I frequent!

So, 60 bucks is pretty cheap in comparison to that.

But yes, its annoying and saddening when the prices goes up, but then that's because you're also earning more money....
