What do you miss the most?

Title says it all. What do you miss the most? It can be anything you want.

You can miss something that you truely miss, or you can miss something that you missed...If that makes any sense.

Kind of . . . I truly miss the motobikes I had, and living by the ocean. I live deeply inland now and though the Great Lakes are within screaming distance of me, I miss the sound of the ocean, the smell of ozonic seaspray, the endless beaches, everything about living by the ocean. Last time I smelled the ocean - Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia - but that was nigh ten years ago, and I aim to eventually find my way back to some coastal town.
I also miss that freedom that spunwicked and W3HS talk about.

Miss something I missed? LOL! The glitch that was named after you? Never got to it and is it gone now?
Actually . . . maybe missed chances with certain girls who liked me, but I was too shy (under the guise of being fussy). And missed opportunities at work positions that could have been mine if I had only chased them.
And also missed opportunities to SAVE money when I could.

I'm going to miss cars with tires once they're gone.

I cant stand flying cars.

Me, too. They hurt. I'm learning to swerve.

If you've never been part of a drug culture then it's hard to understand.

The memories I have of summers by a fishing lake, relaxing with some smoke and talking crap about random stuff with my buddies, the ritual of rolling and the rights of who gets what.

Other memories of being on holiday with my ex-partner and getting so high that we spent the whole night staring into the sky talking about the cosmos while on a camp site in the country side.

...

The feeling that the substance gives, the escape from reality, the elevation of stress and a whole host of other reason.

...

It's about occasion.

And remember kids, drugs are bad. Really, they are.

Never done drugs, had much the same experiences whilst drinking alcohol though.

I miss targets. Sometimes. I need more practice. But ammo is $$$$$.

EDIT: I miss bulls-eyes, not so much actual targets.

You're in Norway... I thought your people were mild :odd:

Guess you thought wrong :) I ono, we're calm and collected, but I guess the Viking part of the brain takes over from time to time.. :)

I miss having a mental clarity, motivation and enthusiasm, I think I burned it all out of me with whiskey. I also miss my ex, she was perfect in ways I don't have the words to explain.

I also miss food that had salt, fat, added preservatives and artificial colours.

Man, you and me both.. If just went away at some point, never to return so far.. I blame whiskey :) Or maybe it's the seven days at work a week-life that has killed it.. You don't know what you have before you lose if and it hits you hard.. I really miss this one chick from time to time and it sucks..

Glad to see I'm not the only idiot here :)

Agreed. Think of it this way, previous music can still be listened too, but you can also listen to newer stuff, therefor the farther in the future we go the more music we have. It's, like, win win.

Exactly.

Going to the Gym... :nervous:

The joy of being a child... :nervous:

That girl that I fell in love with about 5 and a half years ago... :(

There's some good music out there, you just have to look for it, and not be dependent on your radio and TV to find it for you.

Ooooh ok....

I miss being excited about the future. The last 4 years of my life has just absolutely crushed everything aspect of my existence, and I can no longer see a way forward that isn't just brutally scarred by what has transpired. The future that's laid out before me is a twisted wreck of what it once was. There was an innocence that I had about life, that almost everyone I know still has, that made looking into the future an exciting and boundless adventure. Losing that innocence makes the future look like a great deal of pain and unending burden.

I know that all makes me sound incredibly depressed. I'm not actually, but I do miss being excited about life.
