but still they are nice small sports cars, mazda should make rotary miatas tho......
mazkid should know why they havnt put it in the miata

man, I appreciate the Miata for its uniqueness and character. It also has good handling and I respect them when I see them. Mazda took a risk on the Miata, and they went to great lengths to make it right, i.e. RWD, Custom Tranny and chassis.

As far as the people who generally drive it (gays). I could care less. Half of the Suburbans and Yukons I see have some 32 year old tramp house wife driving it. Does that make them girly cars? After all, ALL of the car mags have a special place for the Miata in automobile history and they aren't ALL gay!.

No I have seen some nice Miatas but I would never drive one. They are way to small and un safe for me. I want a little more metal around my ass.

Um Street,Honda is Acura....
If you have something againest honda ,in Japan,I think the Honda NSX JGTC is the Fastest in the JGTC....And outmost the Best Looking Production Sports car Made buy the Japanese..I Like Honda. They Are Very Successful in sales. If you hate Honda street, you can keep it to your self and not start talking about Honda. On the News yesterday i think a Guy was saying not buy that Certain cat flea Product or what ever it was.The company Sued him for $75,000!If Honda of Japan finds you tell anyone not to buy honda's this could happen too you.(Which i Hope it does not happen to ya)Well Thats all i got to say.

Acura is created by By Honda Cars of America, and thats why Acura is only available in America, but when you are in Europe, Asia and even in Japan, most people doesn't even know or recognize the Acura brand in fact, Europeans like the latest version of the RSX/Integra but its not officially imported there, until GT came up.

Damn, I really like the Honda Jazz/Fit here in the US, its the perfect first car for the budget-minded individuals.

ya I knew that.

Street, hondas are good cars just cause you crashed it.Does not mean you have to make it a Bad EXample that Honda's suck!Like I said,I Like honda. They are good cars,But why do you have to blame Honda that you Crashed it?

i've worked for a honda dealer for 7 years and the one consistent thing i found out the hard way was that DOMESTIC cars SUCK!ANYTHING gm ford and chrysler makes after 1973 is a PIECE of CRAP!-this is FACT! i work on domestic cars all week long and they're GARBAGE!
i am the only tech in the service dept. of 22 techs with enough PATIENCE to work on american cars!
american cars-bland styling and lackluster performance coupled with UNRELIABILITY!
my wife's old 1987 accord is a joy to work on compared to anything detroit will EVER make!

Wow, strong words by the Honda enthusiasts.
Yeah, I gotta admit my Honda was the most reliable car Ive owned and the '97 Cavalier Ive got broke down on me three times in the two years Ive owned it. Sucks.
Its plenty fast and whips most Hondas on the street and track but cant be as fast as a fully modified Honda.
Hondas are great cars and will probably get another once I decide on another car. Hatchback Civic all the way. ;)

Hey, if you can figure out how to put mine back together I'll give it to you for a real good deal! Just joking, I wouldn't sell this car to anyone I had a chance of seeing ever again. Well in that case, are you sure you dont want it?

Lol, Ill take it piece by piece. :haha:
So whats holding you back in putting it back together and on the street?

No I don't hate Hondas cause I crashed my old one. Its just after driving the Eclipse I found that the Civic sucked. Now after driving the Mustang I found the Civic really really sucked and I paid like 200 times less for the Mustang. I know that a 5.0 shouldn't be compared to a 1.6 so I won't start.

Plus I've out grown that whole import thing now. I mean I like some Japanese cars like the WRX and the 350Z. But Honda has nothing to offer that I like. NSX are way to expensive running in the 90k's for a new one. I'd rather have a RT/10 or a Z06 for far less money.

Also I should have just said I like ONE Acura. And that is the 3.2L. That is a nice car. A friend of mines dad drives one and that car is nice to ride in. But still I'd take a 300M over that car as far a FWD Sedans are.

And no Domestics do not suck. Cause if they do explain to me how cars like the Viper, Vette, Trans Am, GT40, etc. suck. If you can I will give Hondas some respect.

And don't use the excuse cause they are dependable...so is a Ford.

I don't think Honda's suck so much as they just do as advertised. Nowhere in their literature do they contend to give you a solid driving experience. The try to to give the buyer a good deal on features, safety, reliability, and a fair dose of luxury. Only the NSX purports a real sporting edge (which it does well).

They do what they say the can, and nothing more. That makes them boring. Of course, however, boring cars do suck, so perhaps if you mean "Honda's are boring", then we can all follow the logical conclusion that "Honda's are sucky". :D

Will the Eclipses and Mustangs have twice thge horsrepower of a Civic!the Civic is a Well 112HP and a eclipse and a Mustang have 230+hp!But now that you said, and i have agreed but im gonna have to wait till I get a Car,And I hope I will Get my Dad's Porsche.so thats all i got to say.

Im OUT!

My Civic had some power in it about 180-200 I think. Never really checked and I kinda sorta maybe forgot. Its been a while. Although the Eclipse had 90-100 more hp in it, it was heavier then the Civic due to the convert, and I had the back seat in it. Also the body kit on the Eclipse weighed more then on the Civic.

The Mustang while it does have the most power it also has the most problems.

the high-end domestics and the trucks are a DIFFERENT story though.
Tim Allen did his homework and asked gm dealer service departments what car do they rarely have problems with and they responded with the new cadillac,so he had one tricked out to his liking then put his badges on it!
it was featured in car and driver magazine on tv(speed channel)

I try not to think about them. I did see one the other day and I loved the way it looked though. It had just been in an accident and was totaled.

I saw one of those new Honda SUV I can't remember the name right now. But my god it was ugly, not Aztek ugly but close. It looked like a beaten Ford Explorer. Honda messed that one up.

Then there is the Element. A box with a CR-V engine and a unsafe set of suicide doors (they are called suicide doors for a reason). Honda needs to stay away with there SUV's and god help us if they build a pick-up truck. I can just picture a Civic with a truck bed.

Hey! I love the Element! Its the perfect SUV for very need that I need, sure its a bit ugly, but the function and the practicality of it its a way above on par, a worthy replacement of my 1992 Integra GS-R.

BTW the Honda Pilot, its not that bad, its just bland. And it is the best SUV in its class, ditch the Explorer.

Buy American if you want a SUV or a Truck. All Japanese trucks and SUVs suck! You live in America so buy American cars! I learned and I won't drive anything but American from now on...unless I move to Europe or something. I'm begining to hate most Japanese cars now. I think I can name 5 I like all the rest are rice **** that should be kept in Japan. I think Mazda is the only half way decent Japanese car company, well maybe Nissan as well but screw the rest of them.

The only good Japanese cars are: 350zx, RX-8, Maz 6, WRX (maybe), hmmm thats all I can think of. All the rest suck.

In what way does a Toyota Supra suck? In what way does an NSX suck? Or even an S2000, 300ZX, RSX Type-S, Skyline, RX-7, MR2 or Mitsu Evo 5-6-7 etc? Every car I just mentioned is faster than ANY Mustang except for the Cobra Mustangs.(The RSX Type-S is AS fast as the fastest non Cobra Mustang, 1988 Mustang 5.0 LX with a 0-60 of 6.1)

In what way does a Mustang suck? Well you could spend the rest of your life reading about the answers to that question. Since neither you nor I have driven every car in the world, we can only take the opinion of those who truly have. The writers of Car and Driver, Road and Track and Motor Trend. As well as Top Gear, EVO and countless others. Other than perhaps "Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords" EVERY magazine bashes the Mustang AND Camaro although the Camaro not as much as the poor picked on and abused Mustang.

I am not going to waste my time explaining to you how awful of a vehicle the Mustang is, but you can only find things like that out for yourself. Would you buy a 2003 SVT Cobra for $58,000 when the chassis is the same as on the 1979 Mustang? I wouldn't be able to show my face in public if I made such a moronic decision. Yes, the Mustang has had the EXACT same chassis since 1979. Anyone in the know says that the Mustang will never be good, no matter how many engines or special badges Ford throws at it.

The next Mustang is going to be made off of the Lincoln LS/Ford Thunderbird chassis which means the minimum weight of a bare bones base model mustang will be over 3,500lbs. The Mustang will be SLOWER than ever! hahaha.

Also, have you read the latest issue of car and driver? The 2003 Mustang Mach 1 (302hp) is tested against a 350Z (288hp), S2000 (240hp) and Audi TT (180hp). All 4 cars are in the similar price range and the Mustang is fastest in 0-60; although I have seen tests where BOTH the S2000 and 350Z have done faster 0-60 times than the Mach 1 did in this test. Anyways, despite the Mustangs 1.1l, 2.6l and 2.8L advantages over the other 3 cars, it is only able to beat the 180hp FWD Audi TT on BeaveRun race track in PA? Why is that?......Oh yah, I know why, the Mustang is a peice of trash.

don't get me started on what a crock o'crap piece o' **** ford IS!
i know, because i work on fords ALL THE TIME!
ford=junk!
don't believe the hype of 'buying american' because most imports are BUILT by americans!
NOTHING out of detroit after 1973 is worth buying nor keeping!you're better off driving that mustank into the ocean and growing oysters!
sorry DUDE!but the TRUTH hurts.
btw what a hype! one of the jaguar models is a ford mondeo(contour/mystique) underneath-SHAME SHAME SHAME!

SR780,
In fact, the ONLY American cars that Im willing to buy are: Vette ZO6, Sierra Denali, all Shelbys, Chevy SSR, and the Envoy XUV (coming next year) thats all. The rest of them are factory JUNK, and I say junk! If they provide a long warranty like Hyundai, then maybe I'll reconsider.

BTW The best compact pickups are the Nissan Frontier and the Toyota Tacoma; the best full-size pickup Toyota Tundra; the best softcore SUVs are the Honda Pilot and Acura MDX; the best hardcore SUVs are Toyota Land Cruiser, Toyota 4Runner, Nissan Xterra and Pathfinder, Mitsubishi Montero, Isuzu Trooper and Rodeo-series; and Suzuki Vitara/Escudo series.

see that? i always knew only the high-end domestics are WORTH anything.the domestic cars i can afford and work on are WORTHLESS!
that's why imports are popular,AFFORDABILITY and RELIABILITY-better than domestics.even though an import may cost more INITIALLY,it's payoff is in not having to replace $$$-major things on it at 30-40-50,000 miles!
chrysler has figured out that maybe their 7-year/70k mile wty. will attract more buyers.

Why is everyone *****ing out fords? I mean the only reason I drive one it because it was onlt 50 bucks. I mean its not my first choice.

And still I just think that people should buy American. I mean ya I had my share of rice rockets but its only a phase that I out grew. I'll only buy domestics now...thats unless I can find a good japanese cars. Also you say Japanese cars are made it America well thats true but that money goes back to Japan not to America. Also if you love this country like I do then you'd support the big three.

Thats just how I feel on the subject.

Also the best compact truck is the S-10 by my opinion. The Dakota follows that I think. I've never driven a good Japanese truck. Trucks should be American.
