What Does the Gran Turismo Logo mean?

I'm gonna be honest, I knew it was a G and T but I also seen the Gr quite a bit.

And the empty spaces inside the logo (between G and T) remind me of a stylized checkered flag. I'ts more noticeable in black and white version.

Possible, though the colours would then predate the inclusion of B-Spec by about 7 years.

Or, as any decent graphic designer would tell you, it's a very common approach to logo design in any field. Of course, people will always let their biases speak for them.
Yeah.. no.. , again, th3 g completes the TOP OF THE T , and the F completes the top of the M . Very obvious design. Considering its your closest competitor.. Look at Toyota the symbol spells out the whole name , it has the loops for the o, the t is outlines. Brilliant logo. Look at Hyundai.. its an h inside a circle.. nothing alike... but ohh wait Hyundai totally ripped off Honda that's an h inside a square. I'm taking graphic design and its the SAME design with different letters.. dosent help that Hyundai makes cars like Toyota and it dosent help that forza is a sim like GT.. that happened to come way after .Its like denying drive clubs logo isint inspired from need for speed's logo. Two settlers split down the middle , now drive club did it better . Does that mean its not the same design principle with with different letters?

You dug this up to argue that two different designs are somehow "the same design with different letters"? As someone who deals with logos and branding for a living, I can tell you that while it's certainly possible one was inspired by the other, it's just as likely (if not more) that it wasn't, as the final forms are quite different from one another.

Maybe in between these 3D modeling courses and (now, apparently) graphic design classes, you could make room in your schedule for English. You've been given more than enough chances to bring your post quality up to the standard you agreed to when joining here.
